Thanks so much Amber. I am thinking of buying this case for my viola. Do you know if "polycarbonate" (as it says on the website) is stronger than the construction of the older Bam model? it would be great if it were even tougher than the older model.
I’m not sure if it’s tougher than the original case-but it’s possibly something the blessed google could tell us both😄📚 it’s a nice case-I’d recommend getting a “hoodie” to go with it
How is it working this case for you now? Did it get some scratches, or is it as good as new? I'm rather disappointed with my Gewa cello case, so I'm thinking of getting a Bam next time.
It hasn’t had any scratches-but it has an easy life and doesn’t get out that much…time will tell if it gets beat up looking (like my old black bam case) although, it can be covered with their case hoodie and that seems to protect it
Hello. Is your L'Opera case made of the same material as your old case? Does your new case picks up paint like your old case? I have the exact same viola case as you and also for the violin ones and the biggest issue is that it picks up paint from walls when we place it in storage area during gigs. They are also very difficult to remove so we have to be very careful where we place our cases at venues.
It doesn’t seem to scratch as easily…but my case has an easy life here at home most of the time. If I travel with it (like on an airplane) I put it in the Bam “hoodie” which is a waterproof fabric that protects it.👍
Hello! I just purchased this case for my viola and I’m in love! However, I’m a little concerned about the accessory pouch…it doesn’t have velcro and is the “standard” pouch I’m used to. How is it supposed to sit in the case? I don’t want it rattling around…or a scratching/hitting the viola. I tried looking at photos but can’t find any with a viola in the case. Any input???
I've never seen this BAM before. I'm going to review soon my GEWA cases and honestly after having them I feel like I should have gone with a BAM case.
That is one beautiful case. No wonder is the 21st century.
Next video you should put your viola in there along with essentials to take
An early Christmas present for you xx
You sholud give a chance to our cases too!

Hi there! It just fits under the scroll-it doesn’t rattle around BUT you could easily get some Velcro and secure it👍
Metal cases always better then soft cases but also more costly.
A little black Gorilla tape will keep that crack on your older case from spreading even more.

Repair your black Bam case with carbon fiber or glassfiber where cars are fixed by peoaple who fixed bumped cars , the will fix very easy the problem.
Very expensive Amber 😮
I know- but I’ll probably never have to buy another viola case!😁🎻
Yes,but her violin/ viola is very good quality, and worth the few extra dollars!
1 kg (kilogram) = 2.2 pounds, so
2.1 kg = 4.62 pounds for your case 😉👨🏻
