The Aru Hotel, Kota Kinabalu | Cheap, but worth it or not?

In the previous video, we shared Part 1 of our vacation to Kota Kinabalu. In Part 1, we stayed at The Aru Hotel, an apartment style hotel that is located close to Kota Kinabalu International Airport. It's reasonably priced, has a nice rooftop infinity pool with great views of the city AND the airport with planes landing and taking off, and the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. However, it does come with a few trade-offs, including a somewhat inconvenient location, no breakfast buffet nor in-house restaurants, noise from the nearby airport, among others.

how is the bed hard or soft ? but wonder why they mentioned there is free breakfast in the booking.

Bed was more towards the soft side, at least for us
Maybe now there is breakfast, but back then there wasn't. Unless they are counting the in-room minibar as breakfast haha
