- I tried to play Mono-Red Burn aka Incinerator Burn and I was not disappointed! The deck feels very powerful and it is a cheaper alternative to play Burn in Modern. The last round is very funny make sure you check it out. Hope you enjoy!

Incinerator is a ton of fun, but I would highly encourage trying boros incinerator. The unspoken double-strike mode on boros charm becomes relevant when you can swing in for 12 on turn 3 with incinerator. Also it gives you the more powerful sideboard tools (path, kor firewalker, even deflecting palm) for that extra pump on the deck. It was my favorite to play when I was running leagues on mtgo!

The deck seems to win, not in spite of incinerator but it doesn't need it. I'm not sure you would notice much difference rolling with 56 cards most games. Path and aethergust didn't happen this league but it's probably gg if you get done.
Still, it looks like a fun change up.

Yes I agree, it was fun to play, but I don't think Incinerator is good enough with Path and Aethergust running around.

Some really interesting games, I wonder if mono red for Blood Moon is the way to go forward if the meta is still focused around Uro.
Btw are there any plans for burn gaming in other formats ?
Yeah I may be it is, but I did not play against Uro piles with mono red so far. For other formats, I could see myself play some pioneer or legacy in the futur!
I love this but I have a question: how do we deal with kor firewalkers?

@@tonyontilt3522 that’s true but we make better use out of our lands than most. We have ravens crime and Lili discards to worry about. Plus, I’ve seen some rack builds splash wrenn and six just to get more land to throw at the opponents face. Smallpox hurts too. So yeah, we REALLY want land.

Hey! I think the deck might be becoming stronger because I'm seeing more and more etron and titan decks, so the blood is pretty good in those scenarios. On the other hand, I think it falls a bit short because boros has access to a better sideboard overall (kor firewalker are great for the prowess decks right now). Cheers!

@@pereroy7141 Yeah you can try a more low to the ground creature base, that could be intesting. If you don't play incinerator, you can remove seal of fire and add searing blaze/skullcracks.
Completely agree. Incinerator is powerful but it’s a really bad top deck.
I do have to disagree that Mono Black 8 rack is generally a pretty bad matchup for burn overall. Certainly winnable, but not good.
Interesting, it's very rare that I loose to this matchup. Often you can just topdeck burn spells and finish them off. The big problem is going to be their hands with smallpox, but other then that I feel it is a good matchup in general.
