White Stone Black is the sleeper hit among the Abyssos themes. A lot of people wrote it off for being too gritty and a lot never even heard it due to not doing savages, but it's my favorite raid theme by now.
Im kinda standoffish on doing savages most of the time given past experiences of some toxic people, like i just wanna have fun, not get shamed for eating an aoe one time by accident though idk why not more people like this song, as a dmc fan it was instant love when i heard it when someone sent it to me
@@SnthwaveSunset Honestly, people are more likely to be passive aggressive than outright toxic in FF14 just because of the fear of getting reported, I think. At least, to your face. I was nervous myself, at first, but my experience has been pretty good here, although it is still the internet at the end of the day
This song is so well done that you can almost hear the lyrics being sung out of the instruments. that's probably the first time i can so clearly "hear" the song without lyrics, as if lyrics were there.
I tried, but my will broke. I needed to hear the last Abyssos theme lol. Was still awesome to hear it in game for the first time, though. Especially after that awesome phase transition

This track (Soken's version) greatly reminds me of late 90s, early 2000s industrial, and I love that. However, as a track... I don't like it. It just doesn't resolve, ever, and it's just like... a giant ball of tension that never goes away. I hate it. It's a great track for the fight, though, I'll give it that. This is an interesting take that adds something extra that I think the original was missing. I kind of like this one.
