I just picked up one of the glass bubble plate columns. Safe to wash with 551 citric acid bath? Then hot soapy water? Dawn dish soap of course. Dont want to go through whole process of vinegar run
Seeing how the only copper parts are in the bubble plates i would say as long as you clean the copper real well then you'll be ok. Vinegar runs are a hassle but necessary when a lot of copper is involved. Get you a carboy brush and scrub a dub dub.

smell it and taste it, if it tastes like it'll get ya drunk, id cold crash it. What yeast did you use. Longer it goes the dryer it'll be.
always Get a gravity reading to find out if all the sugar is done fermenting
