The Leon skin is specifically from resident evil 4 remake and the Claire skin is specifically from resident evil 2 remake. Chris's first style is from resident evil 5 and his second is from resident evil village. Jill's first style is an alt costume from resident evil 3 remake but based on resident evil 1 and her second style is from resident evil 3 remake. (Sorry for the long paragraph)
I was going to tell you that leon is probably just the normal reasy evil 4 but they missed another style. Bro they should have added the original pixel skins as a style like with Lora croff
I feel like Epic been missing alot of 100% must buy opportunities by rushing these bundles out. This one and the gohan/piccolo bundle had BIG edit style opportunities that missed the mark. I’ll definitely pick up the pickaxes for style.
Very disappointed with no selectable styles. But more importantly, ever since the first skins came out, I've been sad and confused as to why we've never gotten the Umbrella Corp. glider. Fortnite is notorious for umbrella gliders, I just feel like it's a no brainer that they discarded. Twice now!
Yea having the glider that goes into a pickaxe would be so sick. If you get aerialist you could have a unique animation where you use the umbrella and when you land you put it down and use it as a pick and ofc the emote would work with it too. Hopefully if they do another re collab we get a glider too
They made a similarly stupid decision with the Dead Space collab. They made the USG Ishimura spaceship a fucking backbling instead of a glider lmao

Already got this bundle being a resident evil fan myself. If you want to know for a fun fact the umbrella for Claire redfeild pickaxe is actually a reference to one of the animated resident evil movies where her only option for a weapon at the time was a umbrella
Yeah so I definitely feel like Leo and Clair need a edit style. Leon could have his RPD police outfit style and Clair could have that OG RE2 look. Leon’s back bling could have been his shotgun sense he always finds it in a the games. Other than Clair, all the Resident Evil characters in Fortnite don’t have there guns in there holsters and it bugs me. I love these two and Leon is my favorite and it is exciting to see him in the Fortnite but a bit disappointing. We need to try and get Epic Games and update these characters so they can at least get that second edit style for both Leon and Clair.

@@DefinitelyDux no this is his outfit for RE4 game, it’s actually the one from the Remake. But I think this game needed the cop outfit and the jacket from RE4 so yeah, 3 edit styles. We gotta try and get Epic Games to update the skins.
We need to start viewing the back of characters before buying as the back of a character is about 70% of what we see

Look, these are some of the most beloved Resident Evil characters ever created! I was looking forward to the release of these skins ever since Chris and Jill were released in fact! I do absolutely love these skins, but they could have offered more! Leon could have had the option to have his classic RE4 Jacket On/Off, and Jill could of had a better pickaxe. Both could have had alternate styles as options as well. I also felt like the Combat knife, although it looks great, but we basically already got this exact knife with Sarah Connor's skin (at least that was my very first thought when I saw the Knife pickaxe).
Bear in mind that these are in fact based on the coming Resident Evil 4 Remake releasing in a few days, but I cannot help to think that if they plan of doing RE4 justice at all then they will be having alternate uniforms as an available option, in a wardrobe type closet/Safe Space only available after completing the Story Campaign for the first time.
Im gonna be honest its kinda disappointing Leon doesnt have his iconic RE4 jacket. His hair and face overall just seems off like hes a doppelganger or something i duno might just be me.

Leon should have 3 styles. Jacket, no jacket and re2 rpd outfit. Claire should at least have her old re2 classic outfit and maybe a no jacket option as well.

Hey tabor, instead of using the old school emote, u should use the new guilty of sweatin emote in the battle pass. When you get the side shot, its perfect to see the front of the skin.

We need an umbrella corp umbrella glider for some type of game mode like wicks bounty where you got a glider for winning. If they don’t wanna put an umbrella glider in the shop obviously
I think Epic missed out on some selectable styles for both of them. I mesn Leon could've had his R.P.D. uniform as a style, or his leather jacket that he wore to be undercover. I still like the skins because I played Resident Evil with my friends a few years ago, but Fortnite had some good choices for styles and decided not to do any. Maybe we'll get some in the future though.

I agree with that except if the sword backblings are too massive. I use the Witcher backbling a lot.
Those are the best kinds of backblings. I hate when backblings are just really specific looking orbs or something, it really limits what you can do with them and sometimes don't even look good with the skins they're made for.
I absolutely LOVE Resident Evil I have the original on the ps1, re2 remake, re3 remake, re4, re5, and re7 but I just haven’t played the other ones. I know about them though. I just wish Leon had his nice jacket from RE4.

the reason for the holster tabor for leon is because this isn’t the leon from resident evil 2 this is the leon from resident evil 4 the original and the one that comes out in a week hope that clears it up ❤
Disappointing to see Leon without his iconic Jacket or RPD outfit on. 10 months later and nothing has been added, so I doubt it ever will be.
I will say however, the emblem on the back of Claire's jacket is actually a reference to the Queen album of the same name; "Made In Heaven". It's much clearer on her '98 model design.

I love both of the skins, I do wish Claire had at most an og resident evil 2 outfit + a jacket off version and I wish Leon had his RPD uniform as an edit style. I also wish Claire’s hair was a little more flowy without a backbling but I’m still gonna run Claire redfield all the time now though lol

For a glider I used Lara Crofts Parachute.. and for a wrap I used the S.O.S wrap from chapter 2 season 3🤠🤗

This is curious, the Resident Evil 4 remake will be released until March 24, so I thought they were going to be in the item shop on that day, I wonder why they are for sale now? Seems earlier than it should be, but perhaps since there is a lot of hype for the remake coming out, maybe they will end up giving them additional styles, but perhaps only if the skins sell a lot, epic surely knows about the hype, so we will see. Hey Tabor, someones probably already said this but the Leon skin is not based on RE2 Remake but rather is based on RE4 Remake, wish we had RPD or Jacket styles for Leon but besides that these skins are great

I like the umbrella pickaxe since it's not just another basic sword.
jill and chris was last seen apr of 2022. almost a year, ummm im pretty sure they would come back within the new release. I'd be pretty upset if they didn't, considering how much they spam marvel skins in the shop. it's ridiculous waiting months for skins you wanted just to get spammed with skins that have repeatedly been in the shop for weeks.

my only complaint with these skins is the styles. all other capcom characters had 2 styles meanwhile claire and leon got nothing. claire should’ve had her original 2 outfit or code veronica while leon could’ve had his RPD uniform and RE4 jacket, not just his shirt and knife.
That’s also something I dislike from both RE collabs, is that Leon and Jill have empty holsters.

Claire having the umbrella is a reference to the first cgi RE degeneration movie she used it for a weapon because she had too make do with what she could find at the time and as for Leon how his knife/interactable is true too his RE4 Attire so fortnite just kept it true too the source material Leon should of had his iconic Coat from RE4 or his iconic RPD uniform as additional style and Claire should if had her original RE2 attire or her RECV attire as a additional style they really fumbled too very famous RE characters debut

I always wanted the first knife pickaxe because it looked so clean and it was small so it wasn’t distracting. After your item shop review of the st. Patrick’s skins I bought the motorcycle skin because the video gave me second thoughts and I have a dirt bike myself so I love motorcycle themed skins. I don’t regret buying it and as I did type about wanting the first knife, when I saw the new one in the item shop I instantly bought it. Best pickaxe ever even though it’s not a pickaxe. Kinda forgot to use code TaborTime but I will next time I purchase something.

Hey Tabor. These skins are modelled after the RE2 and RE4 remakes. IMO the original models look better, specially Leon from the GameCube RE4 version. He could have had the bomber jacket style which is awesome. TBH I’m very disappointed with how these skins turned out. The first batch (Chris and Jill) look so much better. Keep up the great content 😁👍

I'm also disappointed that a Background Image wasn't included in this bundle like as was in the first bundle (if you bought the whole bundle you would get it)

I'm REALLY glad there's a large group of people who feel disappointed with this batch of Resident Evil skins. I was really looking forwards to these skins and i too feel dissapointed. we deserve an extra style for each skin. the extra styles being their classic look.
I’m glad they are in the game but, honestly they should’ve had given them styles from the other games. With Leon there’s the police outfit from RE2 and the Brown Jacket. With Claire the only outfit I can think of is the outfit from the original. Missed Opportunity Fortnite , missed opportunity.
