- 50 euro looky looky man challenge can you still get a bargain from the infamous looky looky men in Tenerife, i attempt to try and Haggle and buy as many items i can with only €50 the looky looky men are notorious for there tactics in selling counterfeit items in Tenerife can we haggle are way to get as many items as possible without going over budget lets see if we can get a bargain or will i be hustled.
and as I leave, I was hit with the bracelet scam going about Tenerife me thinking he was friendly I was so wrong.

I always used to get a watch for 5 euros ,they want 20 now and the watches aren't as good .
Yep, them cheap china watches used to be dirt cheap and I used to buy one every now and then just for a laugh. Don't bother now when they want 20 plus for em.

Stuff is from Türkiye.. The guys start at a price that's over twice what they want!! I personally wont buy from em, prefer to support the local small businesses who pay taxes and have overheads..

If you'd started walking away first you could of saved 2 euros maybe 5 euros.they cost a pittance to manufacture. I bought a fake rolex 25 years ago for a fiver its still works somebody in Manchester offered me 300 quid i said it was a fake novelty watch.

If you genuinely dont want to buy anything say no and carry on. If you do, dont be haggling over 5 euros when youve probably just spent £4k on a holiday.

Haggling is not your strong point, u got stitched up on every purchase. They saw you coming. When the sellers actively follow you it means they have identified a mark. You got €20 of items for €60 well done

In august i got 3 bag's for 45 euro's,after coming to tenerife for over 30 years i know how to hassle,🤣😂
After a bit of a haggle walk away they chase you down the street will still be 5 or 10 euro away from what you want but you get it on your way back hands down for your offer
You could actually get a job with the present government as chief negotiator for world wide trade. 😂
You've been overcharged for the bag ,usually round 15 euro

Most of those sellers are here illegally - it's fun watching them all gather their stuff and run when the police come. Best way to deal with them is tell them you don't use cash, only have card - as you don't need money in Tenerife - I have never found anywhere that does not take card or have a minimum spend.
