Just watched the series finale…for now, and I don’t even know what to say… this show has to be, without a doubt, the best hard science fiction show of my generation and I really, really hope we’ll get more in the future.
@@GraveTecMediaGroup same as with Dark Crystal age of resistance dunno if we will have to settle for unresolved questions, I know there are the books, but consider the series different enough to not know. Anyway it was rescued once, but I have the feeling it is a farewell to the series and felt hurried and without closure in some questions
I sincerely hope that we'll be able to see an adaptation of Persepolis Rising, Tiamat's Wrath, and Leviathan Falls in the future. So many amazing moments are still to come.

@@jAkiosn Yeah, by trilogy I meant the books 7-9. There's a 30 year time jump after book 6, and there's a completely new conflict going on so it is kind of a separate trilogy in that sense.
I'm genuinely crying a bit right now. This show is so special to me, I've never been more enamored by such a story before. Thank you for making an extended version of that powerful yet so overwhelming intro song.
The way you've used the instruments in this one really captures the "how far we've come" spirit of the original. It feels more like something you'd find in the opening of a Civilization game, showcasing humanity's achievements through the ages. A sort of sibling to the show's theme. Incredible work!
Totally agree with this Buzzy, Shorter's original was great but Mathias really accentuated all the best elements of it. I'm only an amateur in this area but the one thing I missed in this cover (and the original) is strong vocal harmonies, I think this track is just screaming out for it! Over all...amazing!

You've made a lot of nerds happy 🤓 It's now on one of my Spotify playlists! Oh, I see you covered GOT...the same composer did the opening sequence for Westworld (Ramin Djawadi), another one of my favorites. I'd listen to an extended version of that any day.

@@Virjunior01 Not at all! Like most adaptations, many things are cut, characters are combined into one, and plots are simplified. The books have the "time" to go deeper in every direction, and the experience is richer for it!

I'm in the last book of the series, and I don't see how they can do the final three books without the Alex character. He's essential to a lot of the plot towards the end. I would re-do the whole series.

But why does the melody go down in the third bar (thus, echoing the first bar exactly) rather than staking its own separate claim, as it does in the actual theme? Just wondering why you did that, and I'm surprised no commenter mentioned it. Also, there are a lot less of the martial kodo-style drums in the background as compared to the original theme. I thought that was supposed to emphasize the harsher, warlike aspects of the series. This version is a bit smoother and mellower.
