I just only got into comic books about 6-8 months before Dark Metal began, and whoo boy. I can only imagine that this is what it must have felt like to comic book readers years ago with giant events like Blackest Night and Infinite Crisis.
Drake Wilder basically all the comic books from the Road to Metal graphic novel, i dont remember all of the stories but i think Return of Bruce Wayne #1 is included, which is a continuation to Final Crisis

All in all, the actual prequel is two issues and then they say “you’ve read the prequel to metal but there were certain issues where the metal was explained more” or something like that
I'm only happy Joker had enough common sense to team up with Bats. Even if it is for the silly reason that no one can finish off the Bat but himself. That action saved Batman and ultimately the multiverse.

It drove fans wild (in a good way) to see their hero working with one of the most evil characters in the show in a contest that would ensure both of them would survive. They only teamed up for selfish reasons, but still.
God dark knights:metal was fantastic it brought so many missing character back into the universe martian manhunter,plastic man, the hawks, and others. Can’t wait for the new justice league run.

Well, this particular story is better than I thought it would be, Dark, Gritty, interesting story, as for the BATMAN who laughs is a mixture of both Batman and Joker, all I can say is thanks for the review and WOW.
This is why DC movies don't stand out because their comic book stories are too complex to be adapted into a 1-hour movie. The movie just can't capture how epic and jaw-dropping these stories are.
now that the new 52 movies timeline has ended maybe we can get a dark multiverse movie series, i would love that, and it gives me an opportunity to talk about events like flashpoint to friends that i have who while liking the movies don't care about the comics (which sometimes gets annoying not gonna lie).

This story solidified the fact that DC wins on comic book story quality, while Marvel rules in the film department.
