I used this when I had my green hair and it was incredible, it barely faded and it took 2 color removers to get rid of all the green so definitely recommend

This was the first green dye I tried, and probably my favorite. It’s my idea of the perfect shade of green, not too warm, not to cool, but right in the middle. It’s also fairly dark so I got good coverage over my uneven canvas of natural gray hair. Lunar Tides Juniper is actually the hair color on my profile picture.
I’m nervous about trying it out, a lot of greens fade to a neon, or yellow, how does this one fade out??
@@FutureDanceMom123 this is the best dark green ive tried it has black undertones as opposed to the blue(which is normal for green) sorry im a year too late.
For all you red heads out there, me too, and I mixed Cerulean sea and juniper green together, it made a gorgeous teal-green color, and took perfectly to my hair shade which is a medium Auburn.

I love this brand, especially their deep velvets. I get tons of compliments on Nightshade but Juniper is the one I come back to again and again.
How do you go from juniper to nightshade? My hairs currently purple but I’m dyeing it juniper and might want to go back purple afterwards. The purple I have in now has faded blue/green on the ends so it’ll be easy to go green but I’m not sure about the other way around x
@@bethlewis7968 The best answer to that is gentle color removers and toners. Vitamin c tablets mixed with head and shoulders will strip out semi-permanent fashion colors pretty well. It IS drying so make sure to follow up with a good conditioner. If that doesn't work and your hair isn't too damaged you can try 20 volume bleach. If there is any residual color after that your best bet is toners to counteract the shade you're trying to eliminate. Ion has some good gentle toners. (If you're trying to get rid of purple, Ion's Modern Beige shade is on clearance for $1.50 right now, it's being discontinued) Overtone also makes a toning daily conditioner in a few shades.

my hair is somewhere between 5 and 6, so I'm glad to see the results on those! I'm looking for a nice subtle emerald-y color and this is very close to what I'm looking for (though the look lime crime's jello got looks really good too!) thank you for making this video!!

This is so unexpected but I absolutely love the full strength dye on the pink hair! My hair is dyed black/darker brown than #5 at the roots and this really helped me decide if I wanted to bleach it first (the answer is yes!! I'm going to have beautiful green hair!!)! Thanks for such a thorough color test! 💚

If it's truly like #4 then unfortunately no, I couldn't see anything. If your hair has some slightly lighter pieces like #5, those parts you'd be able to see some green (lighting might have an effect). I'm sorry! :/

my hair is between 4 and 5 with more on the 5 side and more than a few grey hairs. ive kept my hair short most of my life but always fancied a dark blue or green tint to it. not enough to scream GREEN but have hints of it there. very useful video. going to try the Juniper color.
how long does it take to fade out without having a product to de-color the hair?

Vitamin C tablets crushed and mixed with water apparently lightens hair, but it only worked a little bit on my dark brown hair when I tried it.
If you do decide to bleach it, a bond repairing treatment like Olaplex could help. I get not wanting to use bleach though.
I've been using sun in (followed with leave in conditioner after blow drying in the sun in), it's definitely gradual but it's not bleach 🤷 it's like peroxide and lemon but with aloe and chamomile and stuff
Hi! I'm looking to dye my hair with lunar tides blood moon, but I'm not sure how much to order. I have fairly thick hair that's almost to my waist so I was thinking two jars, what's your opinion?
My hair is medium thickness (not too thin but not super thick either) and it is past my shoulders and a lil above my chest and it took me only one jar to get it fully in my hair( it’s actually in my hair rn and this is my first time using it so hopefully it goes well! Lol) I still actually have a quarter almost a half of it left so depending on ur hair length I think one jar should be fine but I think it’s a great idea to get 2 jars for safe measures :)

I ordered two jars (different colors for a half and half) and I have super thick, curly hair and it's down to my waist also! Two was just enough to get everything colored. 💕
