I would love to see one of the hair swatches be more orange. Just because a lot of hair goes orange when lightened. Especially the blues, i used a blue semi permanent to tone my hair after it went orange, still a tint of blue but better than orange.
This colour is great for long lasting blue colours. If you plan to go blue and stay blue for a long time this is the colour for you. I used it and the blue was stuck in my hair for over a year. 💙

I can agree with this. I have used this colour in my hair for over a year. It is the strongest blue dye I have come across. However, use this colour cautiously! It will stain everything and will come off on white pillow cases. And wash your hair over the bath tub for the first few washes or else your body will be turned blue.
Oh nice. I'm thinking of going from a pastel blue to a blue, so this would have been great to add to my arsenal!

Commenting on my seventh month on the directions midnight blue hair dye, to anyone who’s trying to decide between this and manic panic I can easily say that directions is at least x10 better. First it looks like you get more in manic panic (cause it’s around 30ml more) but I can easily say that directions is way more pigmented. I first used manic panic shocking blue (I had some in hand), for the places that were SLIGHTLY orange it turned out ashy and a tint of purple, and for the places that were almost platinum blonde it turned out purple, faded out in maximum 3 washes purples were pink and other parts were orange. I bought one new box of directions midnight blue and a half box second handed, dyed my hair with around 1box with a little bit of manic panic shocking blue I had left cuz I don’t want it to go to waste(I have very thick curly and very long hair and I dyed around 2/3 of my hair) and been using that half bottle to refresh my hair (have done 3 in total and I still have enough dye to refresh my hair once or twice) and I can’t tell how many compliments I got on my hair even when it was faded, and every single person was shocked when I told them that I’ve dyed it months and months ago. Just did my refresh and I was so impressed once again, even tho it’s not the same w my first dye (ofc cuz I only use a tiny bit of dye) it’s still blue, absolutely in love w it was so afraid of my hair turning ugly green but I’m so glad I chose directions at the end. Can take questions if anyone has any

@@nhuquynh5345 you could get away with 1 box of dye for sure cause the dye is PIGMENTEDD and the results would be better than other blue dyes but it wouldn’t stay as dark blue, but if it’s Smt affordable for you then I definitely recommend buying two boxes and saving around 1/3 of one of the boxes and use that to refresh your hair color regularly. I bought only one box, and I use just a tiny bit of manic panic to make it a bit more purple, it’s been almost 10 months now and it’s still blue not green at all, and I still have a bit of dye left to refresh my hair I’ll probably use my new box 2 months later or so. Make sure to lighten your hair reaaallly good that’s the most important thing
@@joy5605 Ive already had my hair dyed blue in January but the upper part of it eventually turned green after less than a month 😭 its def my fault cause i was stupid enough to jump in the pool and got the shorter part of my hair touch the pool water 😩 i will buy 2 boxes to touch my hair up like you said. thank you so so much for your advice!!!!!!
@@nhuquynh5345 it’s a given for it to turn greenish when you get in the pool, for this dye even my hair turned green it wasn’t an ugly color, and you can refresh it back to blue w veeery tiny amount of dye! Make sure to rinse out the dye for ur first time well and change ur shampoo, also if you use heat make sure to use heat protection cause that turns it green so fast, GOOD LUCKKK!!!

Oh my gosh... I took this colour because I have one light blue (like in the middle of the video) but in the charter was so bright so I took the midnight blue.
