For old times' sake. it would be so nice. if he brought out the original drums. let him play as loud as he wanted too. and let these boys have fun. like we did in the 80s. And I never sued. because of my hearing. I loved it.
Amazing video, you work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires
I was there when they were in Helsinki 9.6. It was amazing! I got to see for whom the bell tolls, ride the lightning, one, battery and more. Metallica! 🤟
@@SarahMarie61I saw them in Minneapolis and Lars was really good I can’t lie. He hit double bass more times than I can count and stayed in time, he hits the drums HARD.
Purple and gold!!! That’s the cheer we do at my high school!! And even the guitar is purple and gold at 4:41, just like my spirit wear in high school!!!!😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I wonder if Robert somehow copied cliffs old tone from the album? It sounds killer! Also , it’s me again! The drum sounds ESPECIALLY the kick drum cuts thru very nicely! Doesn’t get washed out thru the mix
I was on two concerts in Warsaw. Best concert trip in my music fan career 😎😍 and great few days in Warsaw city full of music fans from friday to sunday 😁😎 pozdrawiam jeżeli jesteś z Polski.
I saw them in Foxboro for the first time. It was amazing they performed this. I think the best Performance that I’ve seen in terms of concerts on TH-cam was day of the Green 85.
I was there. Amazing show, even if there were some mistakes made here and there by Hammet. The band was staying behind, avoiding the snake ring for the first 4 songs (FWTBT was the second song of the night), because it was raining all along since the beginning of the previous show (which was Bruce Dinckinson), 1 hour before. The rain stopped afterwards and they started to move on to the snake ring. The mosh pit however was super slippery and I think I have injured my left knee while blocking a big bully during the Lux Aeterna circle pit, because it still aches to this day when I jump or do a quick extension on my leg). What I can just say is that the Hellfest crowd has strongly improved since the last time they came in 2022: The front rows knew their classics as you an hear in the video, which wasn't the case last time where people barely knew Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters and that's it... Hellfest since 2015 has been overrun with bunches of tourists, casuals and non-metal heads that just go there to binge party and goof around, and it has became "the place to be" for all the upper mid class snobs. The metalhead population has really been decreasing those last 8 years due to the high competition on buying the tickets (that sells in less than an hour), and you could feel it in the show. The 2022 Metallica show was really blend on the crowd reaction, and I remember standing at 15 meters from the front stage (couldn't get closer due to the crowd; I was just before at another distant stage watching Mercyful Fate performing, and had 5 minutes after their show to reach the mainstage), and was headbanging on Whiplash with another dude from Switzerland I met at the previous show. Everybody were watching us as if we were some kind of retards that escaped from the mental asylum, and they didn't knew any song at all (we were at 15 meters from the stage). This year was way better. Even Ulrich noticed it and mentioned it at the end of the show. The crowd was more reactive, more singing, more jumping, and the pit much bigger. I still managed to bother some tourists when Metallica started the show on Creeping Death and tried to start and "old School Thrash Metal Mosh Pit" (Knees and elbows style) and they managed to push me out of their range into another smaller pit 5 meters aside, which eventually became the big pit during FWTBT. Not the best Metallica show, but definitively a good Hellfest show. If you guys can manage to come over there next year, do not hesitate, it's a pure fucking Metal, hard Rock & Hardcore festival with so many scenes producing their own styles of metal. It's worth the travel.
Amazing comment, I was there too, front row, at the barrier Metallica is my favorite band and beside them, it was the best 4 days of my life I wasn’t there in 2022 to see the evolution of the crowd, but this year it was totally amazing, I stood all the day long in order to be front row for Metallica and every people I met waiting for Met was definitely a big metal head Hellfest was such an incredible experience that I’m happy to start over next year Metal forever 🤘🔥
@@Jordan_R3Y There were lots of awsome bands on the mainstages that day: Crystal Lake, Summer Lands, Eternal Champion, Extreme, Accept, Bruce Dickinson, Saxon, Yngwie Malmsteen, and of course the Four Horsemen! It was indeed a good HF (I've done them all so far, and they were all good), the Sunday was a bit like an underdog in my opinion: they could have diversified way much the set list on that day.
I’m going in August for the Chicago show I’m so excited my only request that they play is harvester of sorrow and the thing that should not be for the second night
They played harvester of sorrow when I saw them in St. Louis back in September of last year. It was definitely my favorite song of the night. I hope you get to hear it and I wish I could go to Chicago!! Hope it’s a blast
