PLEASE NEVER STOP W THIS SERIES. MAYBE DO ONE FOR FM TOO PLS
Wish I discovered this channel earlier
I just did it for fun and got the same answer, my brain isn't complete mush yet.
The trick for the last one is not to find t (but I don't think you could anyway as lots of values would work) but to find cos t and cos 2t as that's part of the parametrization.
First (please say "bosh!")
BOSHHHHH!!!
where can we watch the live recording from wednesday?
sir I did this funnily i solved the Cartesian equation then subbed it in to l i got the same answer but is your version faster
Unrelated question but are the mock edexcel papers generally harder than past papers ?
Hi sir, I did this question and ended up getting the exact (correct answer) for part C but i did it a completely different way, would i still get the full marks?
Hello, sir I would like to suggest you do more IGCSE questions as the exam is very close.
To find the y value for the last question I tried to draw a mini triangle with the adjacent side as 5, hypotenuse as 6 and opposite as root11. That then gives me sint=root11/6 and we already know cost so then I did y = 2root3sintcost but that gives me an answer of 5root33/18. Is the method valid and I just made a mistake or the method not valid?
Hi Mr Asterbury would it be possible to make a video of #3d trigonometry from series 2 for IGCSE? I understand if it's not possible and appricate all the work you have given to everyone for free!
I wasted a solid extra minute on (b) and sort of blindly powered through with doubt, all because I bloody rationalised the denominator when finding -dx/dy, which meant I did much more unnecessary manipulation to get the equation in the form they wanted.. curse whoever decided that curriculum should emphasize 'rationalising the denominator', so superfluous lol
These are from the mock set papers right?
The sample papers
@@MrAstburyMaths oh right, I got confused because I done this paper today along with mock set papers
no way i literally just did the sample paper that contains this question like an hour ago 😂 it was easy tho
is this edexcel, feels like it’s way too easy for 13 marks
It’s easy until the grade boundaries screw everyone over because the test wasn’t hard enough (rip my 2023 AQA fallen soldiers)
you'd be surprised how many people get those questions wrong, probably less than 30% of people got that entire question right.
Last please say bosshhhh
Second (please say "bosh!")
