I come back to this animation every once in a while and I know no one will see this comment but this time really hits different I’m about to leave a job I love where I interact with people I love interacting with all because I was born a year to late and so I can’t take over and my coworker who is awful is the one taking over and i physically can’t work for her I don’t have much self worth or respect but i have enough to know I will suffer under her but I’ve been at this job for three years straight and have met so many great people and literally had some of my biggest growing as a person experiences which includes stopping a friend from committing a self unalive as I can put it in TH-cam terms and I just don’t feel ready to let this place or the people or the memories associated with this place go yet again u know no one will see this but if you are someone and have read all this thank you it means a lot to me that you read a persons midnight heart cry

I get this so much! I have ADHD and my time blindness oscillates between extreme dilation and contraction. In other words, 80% of the time I’m either goofing off because I feel I have all the time in the world… or sitting, paralyzed with anxiety because I’m never going to get everything done. But if I’m able to get straight A’s with only a couple missed assignments each semester, you can do whatever you’re procrastinating.
New year will be a new me... right? Just like I said to myself at 2022... things will get better, right?

Every time I had something bad happen, and I mean really bad. I would think that things will stay bad forever, but soon later im smiling, and may have even forgotten that something bad ever even happened.
a few months ago someone I knew passed away, and I thought I would never be happy again, but time flows, and it did take a while, but soon I was able to be happy again. things will just happen throughout the year. no year will be perfect, but there will always be good, and happiness.
I know this probably sounds cringe or something, in not good at giving advise, but I still want people to know that things will always get better.

This is actually my comfort song along with memento mori by will wood. I've been on the edge of depression lately because of the realization of my own mortality, questioning what lies ahead in death or the lack of. It's scary to think about how it feels to be gone, we've already tasted the bittersweet experience of life so I'd argue it's not the same as pre-birth. I know it's a contradiction to feel when you lack everything needed to feel but it has to be something right? I just hope whatever it is isn't endless pain and suffering. But hey! We're already suffering anyways in the game we call life so why be sad... I guess.
Its the fact 2024 is 7 MONTHS in. Not 7 days, 7 hours, 7 minutes. Nor 7 weeks. MONTHS. Time just flies by like a literal fly

In seventh grade i was depressed with all the stress and high demands from my parent's to the point i thought about ending my life that year just wishing i could be a child again. Luckily i was able to manage through and made some great friends in 8th grade and 8th was honestly so fun and easy it helped me with most of my stress and i still do wish to be a child again but im glad im still alive because of the people i met and all the amazing things i have done
