You are doing very well.Its a good work too.But please remember 1)Always use 50-70% engine coolant, do not only plain water.
2)Before painting please use high quality primer.
3) Take good care of the floor and underneath like use anti rust as well.
4)It woould be good if you can paint it in painting booth with proper method.
