- Welcoming visitors in our traditional homestead is simple but requires time and energy.. i our tradition vistors are welcomed with traditional drink like Omalodu ( traditional beer made from sorghum flour) , Oshifima ( Porridge/ pap also known as Ugali in some African countries like Kenya) . Marathon chicken ( also known as Oshiwambo chicken) , dry spinach also known as Evanda in our local language , Marura oil ( also known as ondjove in our home language)
It was a honor to host vistors in our home and I hope you learn something from this video

may be fridge is slow ... because it is not in the water pass measurements ...
coz the freezing is pushed by the heat, thus it must be straight 100%
I guess so but fridge on gas is always slow but on electricity is very fast

Why do some households place the porridge in a ceramic plate first before putting it in the basket? Do they not want to “ruin” the baskets ano 😅
Also, would you recommend that for visitors nenge I should just do it the old school way by serving the porridge directly onto the basket (oshililo)
Yes they don’t want to ruin the basket, because the more you put porridge it becomes old 🤣
Traditional it be directly from oshililo but if you want the mordern way you can do with the ceramic rather , there is No wrong way and it doesn’t have any consequences.. is just a traditional way
