When I would watch this on tv as a child I thought they just got some random kid to play Space Ghost in these bits. Funny to think it was really Andy Merrill in his early 20's.
Having managed to gain access to all 22 Cartoon Planet episodes from the original 1990s incarnation, I have put together all the intros and scenes of show writer Andy Merrill dancing in a ill-fitting Space Ghost costume nicknamed by Space Ghost super fan Kim McFarland 'the Living Ghost'. The music is "Dia De Plaza" - Alternate and Full versions by William Allan Bookheim, with the sound recording administered by: AirCraft Music Library via AdRev for a 3rd Party. What tomfoolery and inanity will follow next? As usual, none of the content used in the making of the video is mine. The use of said content is strictly to inform and archive for future retrieval. Now, if only we could find the originals intros with the They Might Be Giants song.
Judging by how the 3rd dance reused some of them, I suppose it’s just the same dance but different music.
