Harley k Dubois discussed wether the individuals that come to burning man bring the content that's why it's different every year radical self-reliance you have to bring everything you need you're in the middle of nowhere and you need it all bring bring it all yourself radical self-expression you can be whoever you are radical inclusion everyone is welcome immediacy technology doesn't really work out there why would you be in the past why would you be in the future be here now leave no Trace we're going to clean up this place and leave it better than we found it simply because that's the right thing to do communal effort our city is made by all of us doing it together that's the only way anything gets built and civic responsibility if there's a problem we're all responsible for making it better and my favorite is decommodification we don't think of people as consumers but creators so you will find no sponsorship no brand marketing new businesses this is a commercial free zone.
