That pink honey lipstick with the black honey lip oil over it is STUNNING!!!!!! I remember those sponge applicators from the 80s, when we didn't know anything about primers, setting sprays, or putting eyeshadow on the lower lash line. Or at least I don't remember any of them. Lol. Be blessed Michelle!!!!!
My love for makeup and skincare started with Clinique in the 90’s. I loved the free gift! Black honey was always the perfect color. I can't wait to try the mascara, it's so pretty. Such a great video 💜
Michelle, you are such a skilled MU artist! This Clinique makeup is truly beautiful on you. Very impressive. Back in the late 70' or early 80's, my dear friend, who is a Winter, came to church wearing Black Honey on her lips. She looked stunning, it was incredible. I tried some and me having True Summer coloring, and I didn't get the same result. I really enjoyed this video ❤. I think the skin tint looks amazing on you!
I am a warm autumn and bought black honey way back when I read so many positive reviews and it looked awful on me. Really awful. And then years later I tried it again… still awful 😂
Hi, was introduced to Black Honey when I worked in the Clinique counter at Nordstrom Montclair Ca 1988-1992 Now work at Macys very part-time work in cosmetics/ fragrance sell Clinique too.Happy your content popped up on my feed 💜
What a gorgeous look! I also like YT for learning all kinds of things (dog grooming, easy car repairs, crochet, etc.). And I will also watch the commercials to help support, for YT'S I love, like you! Thanks for being you and so genuine. ❤
Stunning Michelle. Love this look, however you can do no wrong, I love all your looks and the excellent teaching you provide. My mom used the Clinique three step skin care when I was a kid, about 50 years ago. I thought she was so glamorous. Ihave the pink honey blush, love it, and now want to try the skin tint and some other products you demonstrated!
My mom started me on the 3-step Clinique skin care when I was about 12. She loved makeup and was always giving me her free samples from Clinique and Lancôme. To this day I have about 5 Lancôme makeup bags that I use when I travel lol. In high school (the early 90's), Black Honey was a staple. I haven't owned it in years. I got my colors done and found out I'm a true winter so now I want that entire Black Honey set!! Purples look so good on my green eyes just like they really made yours pop.
Love love love this look. Was wondering how the eyeliner colour looked. I am a Clinique eyeliner girl, lasts and are so gentle. Love the products. Thank you. Black honey is my favourite go to lip colour. I have the pink honey lip colour. Love it also. Thank you for this video. Off to shop now❤️❤️❤️ 💄
Love the black honey blush! Can't wait to try the other things ❤ I worked at Bloomingdale's and first learned about black honey! We were doing the brown lipliners with the black honey back then!! Clinique also did a really nice deep charcoal blue shadow that was awesome This was late 70s and I was working for Ultma II!!! Loved the eyeshadow too! Like you, I also was introduced to Chanel! Omg I still have some of the original eyeshadow! Thanks for the beautiful look❤
I just found your channel as I was looking for pink honey by Clinique. I am in Canada and sold out at the place. I would normally buy make up. I love your tutorial and how laid-back and chill you are as well as how descriptive you are. I’m so glad to have found you.
OMG I'm 63...and LOVED ULTIMA2....loved their eyeshadows especially their gift sets. My Mom was an Estee Lauder lover and she used to buy me the big Christmas gift set every year! I couldnt wait to get it!! Could always count on getting it every Christmas! So between the Ultima2 and Estee Lauder shadows and makeup I would be all set for months! Loved their Mascara.....in those days the pink Maybelline Mascara tube was the bomb! I too liked some Clinique items but I was really faithfully a Ultima 2 and Estee gal. Thanks for bringing back those memories. Their eyeshadows and lipsticks were the best!!
For Xmas one year my neighbor bought me an Ultima 2 makeup kit that included eyeshadows, blush and a full brush set. I absolutely loved it and I kept it far too long, LOL!
I have used black honey since the early 80s I LOVE it. However, I did not know that had all these new items. Thank you for the great review. I love all of these ❤️
I have loved Black Honey for years, but now that I have heavy salt & pepper hair…I’m thinking I need to get a Pink Honey, it’s beautiful. Love this look on you….beautiful, as always 😍🤩
Thanks for the tutorial. New subscriber and enjoyed the intro to these brand new products. Wishing you continuous growth and success in your lovely channel.
Clinique was my first job out of High School back in the 90‘s! I’m a Chanel Girl now, but still secretly purchase Clinique skincare because it’s not full of fragrance.❤ Thank you for sharing those memories.
I don’t think there is a bad look for you!!! Just absolutely gorgeous!! I remember when I was in college in the early 90’s and getting the black honey lips. My lips are naturally really dark and small. It never looked that good on me. Maybe the lip oil now days?! All the stuff they added though is just beautiful! Once again great video!!! Can’t wait to see you do a Stevie look next Wednesday!! How wonderful you’ll share your birthday with all of us!❤️
I love the lip combo, beautiful! Ever since you taught us about adding blush to the eye, I've been adding blush to the eyes. I love how cohesive it looks! I used moisture surge all the time, great product. I never tried or heard of black honey until a few years ago.😂 Thank you for this video today, a lot of fun. Glad your feeling better! Love you! ❤
Okay - I never wanted to try black honey because I didn’t think it would look good on me, but it is stunning. I used to sneak into my Mom’s bathroom after she went to work and use her Clinique makeup before school - she was always Clinique and she didn’t allow me to wear makeup until high school. 😂 I am happy to hear that your migraine is better and that Tate is better. I hope he doesn’t have the same issues my dog has with IBD. Thank you for the great video! ❤
OMGGGG CHELLE!! This is gorgeous!! I missed this this morning I had a horrible migraine but so glad I’m watching!! One of my favorite things, which have been SO MANY, is the light inner corner of the eye!! I have cool undertones and never could find something cool enough in their brand and it wasn’t my go to. You are such a natural teacher my friend!! I love you dearly and appreciate everything you do for us!! This is gorgeous on you and I’m so ready for fall!! Thank you my friend❤❤❤❤
Black Honey actually came in a pot with a brush… and then in a stick form. I have worn it for 40 years! Love it!! Here is a secret… the Morning Java Quad has Black Honey Eye Shadow Single.
You are the best! Always learn from you. Your honesty is so refreshing. I was never a Clinique fan but bought a lipstick here and there. Also, it doesn’t seem to matter what brand you use, you can make it look fantastic! Thank you for sharing all your tips with us.
Hey there beautiful lady! I ordered the black honey mascara and the lip gloss! So excited to try both! I want to have fun with color even though I am 62!! Love you!! ❤❤
The black honey blush on your eyes’ crease looked amazing. I’m a fellow migraine sufferer, and used to be a Clinique counter manager. This video was so much fun to watch! I’m really considering trying Seint and need to be color-matched. Thank you for the amazing videos. ❤️
Oh yes, still have my black honey from years back. Their translucent powder was my go to in my early twenties. I love the Happy perfume. Thanks for the makeup look and bringing back good memories.
As a teen and young adult in the 80s I was very aware of Clinique, but most of us couldn’t afford it. I skipped right ahead to other brands, but FINALLY discovered Black Honey in my 50s!! I was intrigued by Pink Honey, but as a Summer-turned-Winter there is TOO MUCH warmth in the Pink Honey products for me. I love the Black Honey Lip Oil and actually wore it on my cheeks one day. The color was PERFECT, but it was just too wet. I am going to get the Black Honey Cheek Pop blush. I fell for all of the companies telling me I needed pale shades for my very fair skin for years, but now realize I need berries, plums, mauves NOT PINK. Most pinks have lots of warmth and the cool pinks are mostly bright. What is missing in the makeup world is muted, desaturated tones that still have some pigment - mauves, plums, berries with some gray/brown to mute the brightness. I also love the Black Honey eyeliner on my blue-gray eyes and think I will grab the mascara now, too! I love putting a touch of my blush on my outer crease area to finish off my look, too. 😊 Thanks for a great in-depth review!
Oh my goodness! I’ve never really used Clinique, but I want to try this! I love Seint’s Black Cherry. I’m a winter so I think I can totally pull this off.
I never used Clinique nor heard of Black Honey until about 3 months ago😅 I started using Lancome in the 80's. I LOVE their Christmas sets to this day. Recently, I have been on a huge makeup try of many different brands. The pink honey is pretty!
I started wearing Black Honey as a teen in the '90s, but eventually realised it was too warm/brownish for me as an ultra-pale Winter. Later releases brought Almost Lipstick in more flattering shades like Black Raspberry then Chic Honey, which became staples in my makeup arsenal.
I remember splurging on the three step skin care system when i was a teen in 79/80. The soap was in the little "garage" type of holder that you slid out! My mom never wore make up except for lip stick and it was always an Avon purchase! I never wore lipstick of any type because I have such thin lips, but have been embracing them in the last year. Maybe I need to try pink honey. I have lip envy of your lips--they are such a great shape!! 😊
Michelle, I was a clinique girl all through my 30s into my late 40's, then hit menapause and for some reason every clinique foundation would go on lovely then within 15 mins go patchy... turns out wasn't the foundation just the clinique skin care wasn't enough. Now thanks to watching your videos I have finally found my right skin care routine... Thank you for your educational videos and your honesty. We go through so many changes as women and when our skin and face start to change it can be a little daunting.... You have been a godsend to me and I'm sure many others. BIGGEST THANK-YOU ❤
Oh my goodness, I'm having quite the conversation with you today!...BUT... I also use Clinique liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara (they have browns, nice for this light complexion). I keep trying others and going back to those two. They're definitely a more natural look, but a solid for me. Thank you for your brush tips!
Actually the original Black Honey gloss came in a little pot. It was in my purse all through high school in the mid-'70s. There were a few other colors, too- with my other staple being Raspberry Honey. I used the 3-step skincare with soap, Clarifying Lotion and Dramatically Different moisturizer, Pore Minimizer foundation, Clover Blush, etc....I was a Clinique girl all the way.
I was one that viewed Clinique was for younger and have never used it. I went straight to Lancôme and really dont think I know of black honey. But it’s beautiful. I may have to try it now
I was a Clinique City Block girl in the 1990s, with Anna Sui loose powder because I was oily. I got Black Honey minis in gift with purchase. Chanel eyeshadow and lip.
I have to tell you that you are such an inspiration. I am at week 6 after upper bleph and lower face lift surgery. Your videos really helped me be prepared. I would love to see your indecision after all this time. Also, I need to relearn how to put eye makeup on now that my eyelids are completely different and I am in my 50’s. If you could provide any tips it would greatly be appreciated!
The first department store lipstick I ever purchased was Black Honey. It was NOT my color back then because I was so pale, but I wore it anyway. I have full lips and smaller eyes, so it's all you could see on my face, LOL! I still have a tube that I wear in the summer months when my skin is more medium than light-medium, but I tone the color down with a nice brown/beige lip liner underneath.
This look actually has a natural earthy 70’s vibe to me, but in a good way. Or maybe it reminds me of my mother’s look from photos of her. Speaking of 70’s, hoping to see a Stevie Nicks look from you!
Wore it exclusively in my early 30's because when I was young, my mom would give me the Clinique gift with purchase. Just bought the set, except for the shadow pallet. Love watching you create different looks.!
Love Black Honey, thank you for sharing the whole look! Does that kit come like that or was that for creators only? Regardless, I'll be heading to Ulta today!
I've worn black honey "lipstick" (as a quite fair neutral) off & on for years. I just love it. It doesn't last forever, & sometimes I just need as close to forever as possible, so I go a different direction. But it is the most ongoing shade I've worn over the years. I've not yet tried the pink...or the mascara! Curious.
I was a Clinique girl in my 30’s 40’s. Used the complete line for several years. Foundation, eyeshadows etc. They blended well back then too. Then I moved to Lancôme 😌You look gorgeous 💕
Black honey was the first “fancy” lip product I ever bought. As a teenager my dermatologist recommended Clinique and it was the only makeup I used for a long time. I got away from it when I got older and started using other drugstore brands. About a yr ago I randomly decided to splurge on black honey again. I just love it. It looks better on me than any other color and all the lip products are just so nice. I feel so “fancy “ with the silver tube. Recently I found the black honey gloss at MARSHALLS🎉🎉I could not believe my luck and got two at $8! Love the look Michelle! Now I want more Black Honey products!
Beautiful blush layering gradiant! Fabulous results! N I've always loved the Black honey almost lipstick. These all look like awesome products but u make em look so chic. ❤️
Beautiful what ever you use you look absolutely gorgeous love Maria from Cyprus please can you let me know what is the name of the moisturizer you gave away to your friend that you had already used and like I would like to try it love you lots God bless you ❤❤🎉
The first non drugstore mascara I bought was High Impact Mascara some 20 years ago. I only bought Black Honey Almost Lipstick about 3 years ago. I worked at a department store in my early 20's and I always went over to the Clinique counter to get samples and see what was new. We didn't have a MAC store then so Clinique and Lancome were considered the high end cream of the crop makeup. How about Clinique Happy?! I still love the smell of that ! Now I think I need to pull out my Cheek Pop Blush Trio and start using it again!!
13:09 where did u get that applicator? I used to have one as part of my kit and it was worn out. I was born in 78 - it wasn’t until maybe around 2015 or 16 that I started using brushes. But, there are still times when I wish I had the old school applicator to use.
Beautiful, as always! And i started using my sponge applicator again awhile ago! I have tons of the best makeup brushes and look what I do!🤦 Poor Tate!🙏
I found the Black Honey eyeliner formula to be a bit harder to use than their traditional formula, but I love the color on my brown eyes. I prefer their Quickliner in Aubergine, which has become a staple for me. And I've always loved their eyeshadow formula, but I've never used the palette you featured here. It's beautiful on you!
GM! I have tried black honey over the years hoping it would work for me. Love it on others, so I’d run back and try again, kinda like the definition of insanity. I need darker black honey for my more pigmented lips. Since you asked, my black honey journey started around 1974!
I think I need this 😂❤ Your eyes look amazing! In the 80/90’s I always put my liner in my water line but now I have a hard time with getting stys on my water line if I put eyeliner on it😩 suggestions? Because I want that eyeliner, eyeshadows mascara! Is your link to purchase in here
I loved Estee Lauder's gifts. I never wore Black Honey. It was not the right color for me. This skin tint looks lovely. I used a foundation by Clinique that was water-based. It was at the time I had oily skin. Your hair color is stunning, Poor Tate. I hope he feels better soon.
Here in Canada, I had tried Clinique's acne regime in my 20's but I found it too drying. I loved their lipsticks but couldn't justify the cost. I did like one of their fragrances though, but only spritzed myself when I was passing by their booth. I loved the Princess Borghese fango mud mask and other products...smelled amazing and were so good for my skin. Thankfully their products can still be purchased online but its super pricey now! They have some products at Costco but I haven't tried them yet.
Aww .. that’s so sweet she was born on your 40th .. my husband and myself share a birthday Dec 23 he was born in 71 & I in 74.. I was born on his 3rd birthday.. happy birthday to you both.. 🎉
Headed out to Carmel- can't watch this all now but I follow an eye doctor on Tik TOK and she says for eye health she only uses clinique. I loved it in my 20's for sure, maybe I need to go back to it for eye health....your thoughts? have a happy weekend
Clinique was my first department store makeup in the 70's. I rarely missed a free gift with purchase. It worked so well with my skin. I still use Plummy lipliner every day. Later in life I switched to Lancome. I then branched out and have tried about every high end makeup trying to find my holy grail. You have made me want to try Clinique again.
@@sandygammage2728 Loved the plastic quiz test to determine products for your skin. By the time you finished with the skin test, a real human came over to assist you, now you must hunt a sales associate down!
Maybe I've missed it as I'm a newer subscriber, but I wonder if you would review some true loose mineral make-ups. I've used a mineral foundation for years..came to it as a person with "hivey", reactive skin. Specifically, I use Aromaleigh (a small online company) and mix a couple of their formulations for a natural, non-irritating coverage, which I love. And I top it off with a setting spray for an all day, looks like good skin coverage. Having said that, I know not all like a mineral makeup. But I would love your take and your thoughts. Thank you so much!
I first learned about almost lipstick black honey in Allure magazine. It was on the best award winner list for a long time . Later I got the mini version as a part of a set and finished it then i bought the full version unfortunately it has a funny scent and did not like the texture i dont know why. It is supposed to not have any scent. Do you have a tutorial on your hairstyle? i love it 😊 I keep adding and editing my commment throughout the video 😂😊😊. Happy birthday to both of you enjoy 🎉🎉
@@DeanaRFinch and we didn’t have expensive brushes. Sponge tip applicators, baby! lol
We had simpler times and we loved it
This is the first I've heard of Black Honey, I'm 56 and this week is the first time. I've purchased the whole shabang so I hope I love it.
My love for makeup and skincare started with Clinique in the 90’s. I loved the free gift! Black honey was always the perfect color. I can't wait to try the mascara, it's so pretty.
Such a great video 💜
Gift With Purchase or GWP was such a thrilling time!!!❤
Awesome Clinique palette and makeup! Thanks for showing us my dear Michelle! 🌞

The pink honey is pretty!
I have loved Clinique for a very long time. Thank you for the video. ❤😊
You are so welcome!
These color combinations with your hair reminds me of the Molly Ringwald combos in The Breakfast Club. Gosh, I just loved her look.
Loved her in BC❤
Beautiful makeup on a beautiful woman 🙂
Thank you! ❤
Hi Michelle, what a beautiful look!! We also share the same Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 Happy BDay beautiful
Wow! Happy bday, Leo sis! ❤
The Moisture Surge color looks beautiful on you!!!
BIGGEST THANK-YOU ❤
Hi Claire, happy to hear you are more hydrated!! We often have to be our own guinea pigs ❤
My favorite eyeliner is Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense - Intense Peridot. It stays all day and does not migrate.
Good one 🎉
Oh my goodness, I'm having quite the conversation with you today!...BUT... I also use Clinique liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara (they have browns, nice for this light complexion). I keep trying others and going back to those two. They're definitely a more natural look, but a solid for me. Thank you for your brush tips!
Love that ❤
Actually the original Black Honey gloss came in a little pot.
I may have to try it now
You will love it ❤
I was a Clinique City Block girl in the 1990s, with Anna Sui loose powder because I was oily.
Ok! So glad you were able to make an informed decision ❤
Love the hombre blush look! ❤
Love 70s makeup and hair ❤❤
I love Clinique Black Honey almost lip stick. I used it solely for a long time.
Wore it exclusively in my early 30's because when I was young, my mom would give me the Clinique gift with purchase. Just bought the set, except for the shadow pallet. Love watching you create different looks.!
Nothing like a gift set! It was a thrilling time ❤
@@maturemakeupmasterclass HA, HA! It really WAS for a young girl with a generous mama!
I just found Black Honey and love it.
Its a winner ❤
Love Black Honey, thank you for sharing the whole look! Does that kit come like that or was that for creators only? Regardless, I'll be heading to Ulta today!
It was PR for creators but how cool would that be if sold that way???
I've worn black honey "lipstick" (as a quite fair neutral) off & on for years. I just love it. It doesn't last forever, & sometimes I just need as close to forever as possible, so I go a different direction. But it is the most ongoing shade I've worn over the years. I've not yet tried the pink...or the mascara! Curious.
And thank you for the quality of your videos!
I was a Clinique girl in my 30’s 40’s. Used the complete line for several years. Foundation, eyeshadows etc. They blended well back then too. Then I moved to Lancôme 😌You look gorgeous 💕
Thanks for sharing!! And thanks for being here
Black honey was the first “fancy” lip product I ever bought.
You look amazing with this look
I love your story! Makeup history and finding deals makes me happy
I sooo remember Ultima II
Remember their day and night palette sets during the holidays??
So good!!!!❤
Omg! Yissss! I'm ret for dis! ❤️
Ha! I would use that tub of aquafore in a week!
Beautiful blush layering gradiant! Fabulous results! N I've always loved the Black honey almost lipstick. These all look like awesome products but u make em look so chic. ❤️
Beautiful what ever you use you look absolutely gorgeous love Maria from Cyprus please can you let me know what is the name of the moisturizer you gave away to your friend that you had already used and like I would like to try it love you lots God bless you ❤❤🎉
Its Clinique Moisture Surge ❤
The first non drugstore mascara I bought was High Impact Mascara some 20 years ago. I only bought Black Honey Almost Lipstick about 3 years ago. I worked at a department store in my early 20's and I always went over to the Clinique counter to get samples and see what was new. We didn't have a MAC store then so Clinique and Lancome were considered the high end cream of the crop makeup. How about Clinique Happy?! I still love the smell of that ! Now I think I need to pull out my Cheek Pop Blush Trio and start using it again!!
How fun! I love retails stories ❤
13:09 where did u get that applicator? I used to have one as part of my kit and it was worn out. I was born in 78 - it wasn’t until maybe around 2015 or 16 that I started using brushes. But, there are still times when I wish I had the old school applicator to use.
TATE! hahhaha naughty boi! oh no poor baby! Hope he feels better! Frankie was sick this week too. Frankie is sending paw vibes.
Thanks Team Roselli ❤
Beautiful, as always! And i started using my sponge applicator again awhile ago! I have tons of the best makeup brushes and look what I do!🤦 Poor Tate!🙏
Thanks Mary! Yes, the applicators are fun to use
Your brows are perfect
I found the Black Honey eyeliner formula to be a bit harder to use than their traditional formula, but I love the color on my brown eyes. I prefer their Quickliner in Aubergine, which has become a staple for me. And I've always loved their eyeshadow formula, but I've never used the palette you featured here. It's beautiful on you!
I use the sponges
Is there somewhere to watch the live video you did the other day?
No, unfortunately live videos on TikTok can only be seeing when they’re live
GM! I have tried black honey over the years hoping it would work for me. Love it on others, so I’d run back and try again, kinda like the definition of insanity. I need darker black honey for my more pigmented lips. Since you asked, my black honey journey started around 1974!
Love it!! You are my Goldie Blondie, you need a Coral Honey ❤
I think I need this 😂❤
Your eyes look amazing!
In the 80/90’s I always put my liner in my water line but now I have a hard time with getting stys on my water line if I put eyeliner on it😩 suggestions? Because I want that eyeliner, eyeshadows mascara! Is your link to purchase in here
What is the name of the Aquaphor product ? I need that for under eyes. Thank you ❣️
Its literally Aquaphor in the pot OR stick form but not the lip balm.
Thanks Barbara ❤
Here in Canada, I had tried Clinique's acne regime in my 20's but I found it too drying. I loved their lipsticks but couldn't justify the cost. I did like one of their fragrances though, but only spritzed myself when I was passing by their booth. I loved the Princess Borghese fango mud mask and other products...smelled amazing and were so good for my skin. Thankfully their products can still be purchased online but its super pricey now! They have some products at Costco but I haven't tried them yet.
Oh, I loved that mud mask ❤
Aww .. that’s so sweet she was born on your 40th .. my husband and myself share a birthday Dec 23 he was born in 71 & I in 74.. I was born on his 3rd birthday.. happy birthday to you both.. 🎉
Oh how fun for you guys! 🎉🎉
@@maturemakeupmasterclass ❤️
Headed out to Carmel- can't watch this all now but I follow an eye doctor on Tik TOK and she says for eye health she only uses clinique. I loved it in my 20's for sure, maybe I need to go back to it for eye health....your thoughts? have a happy weekend
Oh wow, That is so good to know ❤
Need some suggestions on purchasing a set of makeup brushes.
Check out BK Beauty Nikki La Rose brush set! ❤
Clinique is so good!!! ❤
@@sandygammage2728 Loved the plastic quiz test to determine products for your skin. By the time you finished with the skin test, a real human came over to assist you, now you must hunt a sales associate down!
Wish I could see better. My iPad only shows 720 whatever that means.
Huh. Im sure you can adjust format
I do have some minerals. Ill do a video soon, they are especially good for acneic skin
YaY 🙌🤩 This is gonna be GREAT 😃👍🎉❤❤❤
Yay🎉❤
Ohhhh i need pink honey❤❤❤
So jealous of that cute display.
I first learned about almost lipstick black honey in Allure magazine. It was on the best award winner list for a long time . Later I got the mini version as a part of a set and finished it then i bought the full version unfortunately it has a funny scent and did not like the texture i dont know why. It is supposed to not have any scent. Do you have a tutorial on your hairstyle? i love it 😊
I keep adding and editing my commment throughout the video 😂😊😊. Happy birthday to both of you enjoy 🎉🎉
Yes, it was always on Allure’s Best awards!!! ❤
