Unmudl is a pioneering marketplace that redefines the connection between education and employment, specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of employers in the rapidly changing job market. Founded by social entrepreneur Parminder Jassal, Unmudl facilitates a direct pipeline between community colleges and businesses, enabling companies to actively participate in developing courses that cater precisely to their current and future talent requirements.
This platform addresses the critical disconnect between the classes taught in conventional educational settings and those demanded in the workforce, a gap evidenced by the coexistence of 6.5 million unemployed people in America and 9.5 million open jobs. Utilizing a network of nearly a thousand community colleges, Unmudl offers a flexible, accessible approach to learning, allowing students to select and combine courses à la carte to build the specific skill sets required by partnering employers.
This collaboration not only aids individuals like the working learner Scott, who successfully transitioned into a specialized role at Amazon through targeted coursework, but also supports employers in filling critical roles efficiently. By doing so, Unmudl not only proposes to rejuvenate the community college system but also aims to forge a sustainable bridge between education centers and industry, ensuring a more inclusive, accessible and adaptive educational landscape.

Hahaha She can't even get 2 words out without a jump cut. Is she just slow? Community colleges want more tuition now than top colleges wanted 20 years ago. If she's the CEO and from Punjab, maybe they need things explained to them like they're slow, idk!
