Glad to see you home and prepping the machines. I can't believe that after 50+ years I can still recognize Cub attachments and accessories at a glance. I just wish my body was holding up as good as my mind is.
I have been following you and enjoy the vids. I drove 150 miles yesterday to look at a H. Liked the tractor but we were $200 apart. The guy said he would think about it and let me know today. I had an appointment to go look at a Super C at 11. In the meantime I found a Allis-Chalmer 1955 WD45 2 miles from the house. Long story short...I like orange too! Will drive it home tomorrow!
My dad is very experienced with those IH truck engines, and he always said to ensure the 5 and 7 wires aren't crossed. That's an easy mistake to make, and it'll make them run like that. We use 15W40 detergent oil all the times, even when they have sludge. Never a problem. You should buy brand new flat backs for your good 400 and then you can use the jobber lights on the loader tractor if you'd like. Those original light switches are good. Once they went to the O D B R light switches, those were more troublesome. But the older switches like the 400 takes, I've never used anything but the originals. You'll have no trouble pulling the 50 with the 400 unless you try to subsoil with it. The paint scheme is the red white and blue on the 50s.
Gino call my guy from Butler here there is an outfit called FleetPride about 5 mi east of boaks on 422 they probably could make you a U-Boat like that. I've had them do them for me for my header cart and a couple other jobs they do truck spring work and they have the rod there and everything they'll just put the threads on
Those IH gas engines were very strong reliable engines. We had a 549 in a cattle truck that would out pull and out run most of the diesels back in the day. They were very hard on gas, but then it was 25.9 anyway. That's going to be a great tractor for pulling a drill and raking. They seem to run real quiet with an oval muffler. Bill
Happy to see the loader 400 getting love. I was worried it would get moved to the back of the shed. Someone said to move the loader but a loader really beats up a tractor.
If you dont already know IH engines are 0 tdc timed off the # 8 cyl. That said they love timing. I ran 10+ tdc in my 345. She pulled like a frieght train. Really enjoy videos. Thanks for all your hard work
Can’t wait to see her in action and we have finally dried out enough that some farmers are able to get back in the field. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a blessed rest of the week.
When I was a kid in rural science class, we were taught to clean off metal soil implements and coat them with creosote. Can't get real creosote anymore, but it kept them rust free and killed of any soil pests.
Maybe a drainage ditch might help, even though it's flat. Not getting stuck plowing a furrow would be a challenge but worth it! A drain tile is ideal but not sure what it would cost and if you can run it to your creak or not? Maybe some Marvel Mystery Oil would clear all the sludge out if you run it for a little bit before you change the oil again?
Excellent update from Red Power estate 💪💥 gonna have to say that 400 is a fantastic looking tractor, touch and go whether i prefer the 826 or the 400 the best 🤔💪💪Red Power 💥
Excellent video Gino :) also I know back fire or misfire in stake truck International Loadstar 1600 or any gas use 89 octane with 5 % Ethonal or 90 or higher octane with no Ethonal plus Grey bottle of STP Total Treatment fuel injection and carb cleaner in each fuel tank each month plus use High Suppression wires with platinum type Fishman hook tips ! Yes feilds out my way wet to Gino in past 2 weeks my area gotten 6 inches in 15 days and bird have swimming party to Lol! On International 50 Cultivator you get decals made up just check in at Vechile Automotive Mechanics shop or signs making companies! Should be reasonable prices pay for and explaining how want made and colors bam get in 2 weeks!
That old switch will last longer than a new one. I have a 400 and an IH parts guy told me to just clean up the points in switch and it will last forever. He has been correct so far.
One also thing. I just wanna let you know. I just bought another tractor I've been working on it and it was positive ground tractor and I switched it the way like a normal vehicle is today and the only thing I didn't know it wasn't running the world's best. I had to flip the coil because it would still run. But it's not running the correct way. But it won't run horribly, so you might check into that too. And make sure your coil is go in the right direction to the Distributor.
At least you can work on the 400 with the 2000 loader. my 606 with 2001 the engine is totaly covered up by the loader. Got the bucket cly back from rebuild $$$.
I had a 71 Travelette crew cab flatbed with the 345 Gasser and a 5 speed, it wasn't winning any races but it was a great work truck. I'd deff take another old IH truck!
Insta start combine. Where I used to work used to stamp those International bus and truck grills. Those presses would shake the floor right under your feet. Feel that vibration all the way through you.
And another thing is if you do need plug wires for your international motor and you don't want to make them. You can go in and ask for 350 Chevy. Small block wires and you can use those, by the way. That's what's on my international grain truck
Is that loader tractor running points ignition? I recently had a new internal resisted coil go bad on a points setup. Hoping it was just a faulty coil.
combine paint get good quality not ag supply as the paint fades back to what it looks like now in 12 mounths . wouldnt be suppriesed if fleet guard supply case ih
Nice! Glad to hear you ordered something from Canada. Hope the import duties don’t sting too much. Keep up with the great videos! You are making me consider an oil change on my snowblower.

Combine started right up. 👍
Best diesel engine I've ever owned
Excellent variety of content in this video!!
That 400 sure sounds nice!!... Of all the Farmalls that were in that auction I would say that 400 was the pick of the litter!!
I agree 👍

Grease now
Good stuff FF, for a minute I thought you put a big ole horn on the Loadstar🤣🤣🤣that timing was perfect as she took off…take care hoss🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
😁 I should
Same way here in Georgia. It has been one wet spring! We’re getting some 90 degree days now, so it won’t be long.
It's raining right now lol
The combine fired right up!!
Excellent motor
You take great care of your tractors
I definitely try
It’ll be fun to see the duals on the 826
Yup,,the grain truck has a couple issues to sort out yet. Keep tinkering,,stay after it. You'll get there.
Definitely not giving up
You are right, I was trying to slip shift that grain truck. I forgot little gas jobs don't shift the same as the big road trucks

I remember those 70s IH buses when I was a young lad ..
Yep the 345 engine
I can't wait to see the 400 in the field. I always figure nine quarts to, because the air cleaner takes a quart.
Yep
Thought for a moment that was the horn on the truck. 😊.Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.

How many trains go through there a day.
Is it timeing or wires crossed ?
I ran Shell Rotella 15-40 in
everything. No trouble at all.
Twice a day normally
A buddy of mine put a 4Bt Cummins in his load star
You might wanna stock those ponds and maybe make a fishing channel

Well if it's gonna play that game I will go electronic ignition
@@FarmallFanatic I figured it wasn't the first time you have done this. Mine is on a Kohler that I don't think I can get an electronic ignition for.
Why don’t you take the loader off the current 400 and put it on the new one and sell the old one
No way...the new 400 is too nice for a loader.
Omg all that rain, here and there. I keep saying rain, rain go away😅
It's been a bad year
How much sweet corn this year...???
Probably an acre and a half
Does the 400 with the loader have a quick attach to switch from a bucket to forks?
Nope unfortunately
@@FarmallFanatic I wonder if they make a quick attach plate that would hook up to your loader without having to modify it?

Lol
Would you be interested in a 3 bottom roll over plow it's international it's 2 ph
