Prince Edward County is a beautiful area. Great video, we'll have to chrck out some of those shops when we are back out there camping. Thanks for sharing
Wineries and breweries are the biggest attractions for us in the winter. So much snow over there, woof. The farm setting for the distillery is so amazing, that would be something we would love to try for sure. Hahaha love your hair blowing in the end, at least the hat helped ahahaha
Yes, I like to pair an outdoor activity with a trip to a brewery or winery to warm up in the winter. It's a fun distillery - and in the winter it is crazy windy!
Such a nice little guide you put together, thank you and good job ! Goes straight into my bookmarked videos in the Canada folder, will replay this video when needed :p
hahaha the name of that antique store " dead people's stuff" ! Wine tasting is defs a great idea, ill be there in a heartbeat! oh my goodness, i would absolutely love to be on an ice lake, but would be soooooo scare it starts to crack. Do they give you signs that it is safe to go on the ice? like I've said before, what would your channel be without the brewery - you guys are exactly on our wave length. Looks like a stunning brewery to be at. I have to say, if we go to a sea town, going to the beach is defs out number 1 item to do :) what an absolutely stunning place Prince Edward County is. Thank you for sharing this with us. ♥
You know us, it's like we have a magnet pulling us to the wineries and breweries 😂 There aren't usually signs on the ice, so you have to check and make sure it's still good. A few winters ago at one of the lakes nearby the spot where people were parking their cars to go out and ice fish just completely cracked and caved in (it was only a few feet deep, but a bunch of cars went into the lake) so you do have to be careful!
12 wineries! Wow, that’s a lot! I would definitely want to sample them all too! I love the idea of checking out the flower fields too! Sounds like a lot of fun!
Yes, we've done a few weekend trips and usually do 3 or 4 each time and always try to visit new ones... we have 28 to go 🤣 (in MANY more weekend trips into the future)
OMG Dead People's Stuff...hilarious name! I would love antiquing...I have been obsessed ever since Antiques Roadshow. Ice fishing is actually something I've always wanted to do. Wow, the flower farms are so beautiful. I've never been to Prince Edward County and now I have a list of activities I want to try out!
"Dead People's Stuff", LOL 😂 Yay for wineries! Are any open during the winter? Ya for breweries! 🍻 Some people don't like that campfire smell, but we really do. Wayne loves whiskey. April prefers vodka and/or rum. Yay for the beach! Crazy hair at the end 😃
There are quite a few open in the winter - with Covid they had some restrictions about numbers etc. But many are still open. Yeah I like the campfire smell but don't want to smell like it unless I'm camping haha.
The name of that antique place, dead people’s stuff 😅 love the literal name tag! The distillery with the fluffy chickens wandering around looked great. We would definitely be stopping there for a few rums!
Never been to PEI but could love to as we love muscles and the ones from there are so good! We can always count on some good brewery and winery recommendations from you no matter where you go! Great to see that there's plenty for things to no matter the season from different types of farms to ice fishing in the winter. Look forward to visiting in the future.
Great tips! Wineries, antiquing, and flower farms? Sign me up! Looks like it would be really beautiful place to visit in the summer but also would be down to try some ice fishing in the winter ☺️
40 wineries in the area, wow! That's a lot. One definitely needs to go there a couple of times or stay there at least for a week to visit them all. 😊Distillery on the farm is awesome, I like chickens running around. 😀 And I would definitely choose the sandy beach visiting. There is a lot of space for Rocky to run and play!
This is the second video I have recently seen with ice fishing! Sounds like I need to try something new (with an expert). And did I hear wineries, breweries and a distillery?! Sounds like my place to visit! Thanks for sharing!
I am going on a road trip from Toronto to Montreal day after tomorrow while vlogging my first travel series. Your videos are awesome and really helpful 👏👏
Winter hiking sounds good! No video from you guys if there is no brewery in it. So funny how many alcohol related activities there are in this list, also a distillery and wine tasting. Didn't know they had the world's largest sand dunes formations. Flower farm sounds good!
I see there are lots of alcohol related activities to do there! Haha. It looks like a really great place to visit all year round - what a winter wonderland it becomes! Whenever i think of Prince Edward (island) I think of Anne of Green Gables - is this the same area? Are there related things to do?
You've sold us on this place! I love drinking dark beers in cold weather, so the heated patio at the first brewery would be perfect. We have never actually visited a flower field but that's also something we would love to do. The country drive reminded us of home, and thr beach also looked much nicer than we would have expected in Ontario. Is it on Lake Ontario?
Well we frequented Prince Edward Country, many times it was a favorite destination, but setting my opinions aside, its not a family friendly as once liked. Many good restaurants like a very favorite ice cream is gone. Its become very 'artsy'... and therefore its not what we like. It was a great family place to be, given that its definitely a little jewel in Ontario.
Yeah it was nice when it started at first..now so many have come and gentrified it it's not the same place. You will never know the county of 20 years ago. It's one big rustic chic tourist attraction now oversaturated with a bunch of largely similar attractions
We've noticed that it's becoming very boutique-y. Most accommodations are quite expensive there for what they are just due to the demand. We only drive for the day but this year we hope to camp at the provincial park.
Over-run with tourists. Everything is crowded. Everything is dirty. You can't walk 2 feet without having to step over garbage and broken glass. This is on the street, on the trails and on the beach. Restaurant food is poor and seriously overcharging for micro portions. The populace loathes tourists but knows how to fleece them. Most places in the county are ex-military so the whole think is a toxic dump. Why not visit Chernobyl? At least there you know what you are getting into.
Have you been to Prince Edward County? If so, what are your favourite activities? If not, which one of these would you most like to do?
Prince Edward County is AWESOME!
I completely agree!!
Plus....numerous artists and artisans and their magnificent creations! A must-visit activity in the county!
Yes definitely!!
Loved PEI. It’s such a cool
Place. Great info and easy to watch!
Thanks!
Prince Edward County, different place.
Loved your visit to the farms. My favorite flower is the sunflower. Also, loved the extra at the end. Hair gone wild. Safe travels!
There are lots of great farms there - and yes my hair was wild, it was a tad windy haha
Awesome area to visit, prince Edward county has so much to do. Another great informative video.., love the flower farm.
Thanks very much :)
Wow...so much to do! Ice fishing to a beautiful beach. Also love the flower field 💐
Yep plenty of activities here
Wine tasting nice place nice interesting video thanks for sharing 🤗👍
Thank you!
Prince Edward County is a beautiful area.
Great video, we'll have to chrck out some of those shops when we are back out there camping.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks, the shops were great, love the relaxing atmosphere out there

Such a wonderful video. I do love your content. I wish your channel will become big and more success.
Thanks very much!
You sold me once you mentioned wineries haha! thank you for all the awesome tips on what to do!
Oh and there are a lot to choose from! Thanks :)
Wonderful tour you made with a very detailed explanation. Love the beaches 😉
Thanks very much, they have great beaches there.
Such a nice little guide you put together, thank you and good job ! Goes straight into my bookmarked videos in the Canada folder, will replay this video when needed :p
Hey y'all, we are Shion and Matthew and just came across your channel! We hope to visit Prince Edward someday! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching

Thank you 😊

@@TheAverageTourist Wow! 28 more to go?! That’s crazy! That’s really wine country!

Haha I forgot about Antiques Roadshow!! It's a nice area to explore for sure.

Gotcha. Lol, that's the way Wayne feels about it, but April doesn't mind it occasionally at other times... 😊
The name of that antique place, dead people’s stuff 😅 love the literal name tag!
The distillery with the fluffy chickens wandering around looked great. We would definitely be stopping there for a few rums!
I love the name of that place. And the fluffy chickens were so fun to watch
Such a beautiful place, very well captured ❤️, hope you have an awesome weekend 😊
Thanks very much!

It's PEC, not PEI. Completely different places.
I'm all about the breweries and wineries 👌
Great tips! Wineries, antiquing, and flower farms? Sign me up! Looks like it would be really beautiful place to visit in the summer but also would be down to try some ice fishing in the winter ☺️
You should drive up when things get back to normal.
Fantastic tour in amazing place thank you for sharing...new here
Thanks so much!
So much to do. It’s always impressive to see a lake completely frozen. Very windy at the end 😃
Yes so windy!
I think I want to go there! Wine and beer! 😋 Sounds good! 😁👍
Yes, it's a great spot for wine and beer 👌
Thanks for the video. What's the name of the brewery that you visited?
We went to 2...Gillingham and Midtown
40 wineries in the area, wow! That's a lot. One definitely needs to go there a couple of times or stay there at least for a week to visit them all. 😊Distillery on the farm is awesome, I like chickens running around. 😀 And I would definitely choose the sandy beach visiting. I've actually never been. But I HAVE gone to the wineries, breweries and the distillery 😂
Very useful.
Your video is really informative and clear. How many cups of wine have you tried? Was it strong? I'm not good with wine but I can drink beer, haha.
I am going on a road trip from Toronto to Montreal day after tomorrow while vlogging my first travel series. Your videos are awesome and really helpful 👏👏
Thank you!! Have an amazing time!
would like to do a hike a sand provincial park. Thanks for the info
It's a great park - lots of dunes
Winter hiking sounds good! No video from you guys if there is no brewery in it. So funny how many alcohol related activities there are in this list, also a distillery and wine tasting. Didn't know they had the world's largest sand dunes formations. Flower farm sounds good!
Yes absolutely - we have to support our local brewers and vintners! 😂
I see there are lots of alcohol related activities to do there! Haha. It looks like a really great place to visit all year round - what a winter wonderland it becomes! Whenever i think of Prince Edward (island) I think of Anne of Green Gables - is this the same area? Are there related things to do?
Plenty of things to see there! The Kinsip Distillery looked pretty cute 😁 great job 🙌🏻
I would love to try ice fishing if it is not too cold. Do I need to get a permit to do it as a visitor?
I think you need a fishing license to go
We hope in next year or two we can do a Vancouver to Nova Scotia drive! It would be epic!!
Yeah you can stop along the way!
We would just head for the distillery and go no further 🍷🥃🍸🍹🥂🍺
Nothing wrong with that! 😂
Looks interesting, wine degustation looks interesting :)
It's a nice place

Yeah it is lake Ontario! It's a nice area to spend a weekend :)
Where are the flower fields ??
I can't remember where the sunflower fields were... we found them by accident on our drive 🤦♀️
It's been changing over time. I'm a fan of the area👌
Love this! Is that store called Dead Peoples Stuff? LOL I rewound it bc I was like there's no way I heard that right haha
Haha yep! Dead People's Stuff is what it's called. Too funny. 😂
Tried a lot of wine out there pretty much all bad ... Drive to Niagara
It's a different flavor profile. We found some we enjoyed and also like Niagara.
Yeah it was nice when it started at first..now so many have come and gentrified it it's not the same place. You will never know the county of 20 years ago. It's one big rustic chic tourist attraction now oversaturated with a bunch of largely similar attractions

Everybody is itching to go out again.
Yes definitely.
you guys sure love your booze dontchya!
