Today we take a look at Sal's brand new 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. There's not too many modded new Sequoia's out there yet so it was a treat to check this black beauty on 37's out. My dream car! White and black for me! I’ve been a Ford guy my entire life. My wife has a 2020 4Runner and I drive it from LA to the east cape of Baja Sur every summer and just love knowing that I’m driving an extremely reliable automobile! I’m 6’4” so the Sequoia would fit me better! As a family of surfer’s, a reliable car that can go anywhere in Mexico is a must! I’d trust the Sequoia way more than the Ford Raptor!

I've looked around and done some digging. This is hands down one of the nicest SUV I've ever seen . This is in its own bracket.

Such a clean ass rig...that TT sounds good, but not better than a V8. Feels like that sound would be perfect when looking at a Tacoma revving.
Love the rig but i think a tire down size would do this rig wonders

The 2nd generation Sequoia is so damn reliable....the final refresh was very good....2020 to 2022 is the best final years....
Honestly curious how the drive train will hold up to 37s. Been thinking of the same tire sizing, but with a slightly bigger lift for compression clearance

Its' crazy it's Toyota's top of the line Sequoia at $81k, and the suspension still needs to be upgraded to better parts to maximize it's potential.

All kinds of weird suspension noises coming when going over shit - that scares me a bit.
There was a lot of metal/plastic cutting involved to make them fit 💪🏼

Looks cool but that truck doesn’t appear to have enough suspension travel anymore, especially in the front. Goodbye articulation (without tearing up the fenders)
Took a capable off-roader and made it absolutely useless offroad. What a waste. I blame the guy who talked him into doing this without advising him of this ‘street only’ mod.
In Sal’s defense, he did mention that this was just a temporary setup until he gets his full aftermarket Fox setup (not the TRD Pro Fox setup) with new UCA’s and the whole 9. Fox is still developing the kit for it.
How many inches that will be ?

I will put it to the test and see what it can do! I talked myself into getting it to be sitting where it sits now and I don’t regret a bit of it. Obviously it doesn’t have articulation like my jeeps but for a tank size she’s performing well 😂

I wanted to love the new sq but seeing a lot of owners question it’s value with plastic interior and performance as well as space. Any owners experiencing any of this? I want to buy the trd pro but concerned that I won’t like it.
I wonder how much over MSRP he had to cough up to get this beauty. I went to get one here in SD, dealers are adding $10K+ minimum. I'll wait. No rush. Dealers have plenty now in stock, but aren't able to sell....
Does the tires limit your articulation?
Yes it does as you can hear some running in the video but took care of that already. I will also be getting a bit taller suspension to gain more articulation. Follow the build

nice.wish that cargo space robing folding 3rd row was gone, no 3rd row =more payload, towing and the sun roof not much to see when the roof top tent is on top ,id like to see a bare int wagon./ van like a 70 ser. LC troop carrier,that one can put a pop up top for stand up head room ,build out a true overland, car camper,world , expedition vech. please Toyota offer a basic base model of the new land cruiser as lot of us have no need. want or will ever use the 3rd row I want cargo space , payload ,
