    🤘👍🏿 This was the best short demo of this pedal I’ve seen.

    Congratulations, this is the clearest and most concise demo of this pedal I've seen. I'd gone off it since it's release but this video has reignited my interest.

    Thank you for the relaxed, matter of fact presentation re the various aspects of this pedal. Very refreshing v. Other reviewer styles(?) And perhaps there does need to be an expression jack, but one that controls the Speed (pitch) rather than the Clock Speed. Such would seem to have greater utility.

      I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! I agree with you about the speed function-I hope they add an expression jack and a toggle like the ETTERSLEP so we can choose the controlled parameter :)

    Good demo thank you! Could you tell me what overdrive or distortion you were using here?

    • @AaronRusch

      Thank you for watching! I'm using an Analogman King of Tone for my overdrive.

    Great demo of the BL-44, showing clearly and comprehensible all the lighlights of this pedal. 👍👍 I love it. 😍
    Of course other reverse pedals can do stuff like this too, i.e. Tensor, but I like the simplicity of this pedal.

    • @AaronRusch
      @AaronRusch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, I love the simple controls. I still have not tried the Tensor-I expect them to drop a v2 of that pedal, and this has kept me on the fence, (im)patiently waiting...

    Beautiful demo of this pedal, Aaron.

    This arrived a a few weeks ago and I definitely love it. It’s nice to strictly have a reverse pedal. I love the reverse on the mood, but now it’s just nice to have it separated.

    • @AaronRusch
      @AaronRusch  ปีที่แล้ว

      It definitely is-now I just need to decide where to put it in the signal chain, I keep changing my mind! Thanks for watching the video!

    Hi Aaron, amazing demo. What are your thoughts on this BL-44 vs CT5 Mode 1 or Mood Slip mode?
    Where is the BL-44 sitting in your signal chain? I am using mine in the middle, after a Dark Star... still debating if I want Dweller to go before or after the BL-44.
    Subbed 🙂 (i loved your 3 videos about the CT5)

    • @AaronRusch
      @AaronRusch  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Let's see, right now the BL-44 is actually sitting thusly: FreqOut>Compressor>BL-44>Gain Pedals>Everything else. I do tend to move it around a lot, I'm always tinkering with pedal order. I like the idea of it after a Dark Star. As far as comparing it to the Mood and the Ct5, I feel like they are all different enough that I use all three pedals, although Mood Slip mode is so weird and crazy that I feel like it's a distinct effect from everything else I own. I must love reversed sounds because I use all three of those and I'm always hitting the reverse button on my loopers.
      Thank you very much for watching and for subbing!

    Beautifully done with clear explanations, thank you Aaron! Do you think this would co-exist well with the Fabrikat? I’m looking to add reverse fx to my solo soundscapes & film work, am interested in this and the Tensor. Not all pedals get along, though :)

    • @AaronRusch
      @AaronRusch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the kind words! My gut tells me the two will get along nicely, but I haven't really sat down with these two pedals together, so I'm reluctant to say they will play nicely. I'm going to try to mess around with the two of them in the next couple days and post here with my thoughts.

      @@AaronRusch Thanks! From what I can tell, I’m inclined to agree. I tried pairing the Fabrikat with the Screen Violence and that wasn’t the greatest match. The Fab is a versatile, always-on pedal on my board and the SV is like a talented basketball player who needs the ball all the time. In other words, their personalities are probably too strong to coexist. The BL44 seems like it could work well behind the scenes or be in the forefront when needed.

    Can someone tell me how it works with Bass guitar

  • @neilanderson9151
    @neilanderson9151 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I could see this being extra useful for ambient. Otherwise I’m fine with reverse on H9 when playing conventional music

    • @AaronRusch
      @AaronRusch  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do think this pedal is geared towards ambient guitar parts, absolutely

    The expression pedal was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, it was not there.

      I'm hoping an expression jack makes an appearance in a v2 of this pedal someday
