      First 50+Yrs of Congress Rules Dominated Not even 50 percent of INTEGRATED FRAMEWORK OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
      Even the 4 major national highway was half of
      MUD ROADS.
      Other highway was 70 percentage of Mud Roads every roads .
      Even Half of NATIONAL highway were 50 percent of roads were Mud Roads before 1996.
      This Trends was everywhere in India.
      There was no concept of INTEGRATED INFRASTRUCTURE FRAMEWORK for all the Transportation FRAMEWORKs.
      Worst of worst was
      ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE.
      There was very less projects on INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT of INFRASTRUCTURES such as PORT , AIRPORT n Railways n Ropeway n and ROAD Infrastructures.
      The Solar Energy System n Wind Energy Station and Electronic n Software development.
      There was not even single freeway road in entire nation during first 50 years.
      There was no proper roads during first 50+ years of Congress Dominated governance.
      Where is pot holes during their regime when you had half of roads were mud roads.
      If at all if Congress continued in power, There wouldn't have been any kind of ROAD Infrastructures for another 100 years 👎.😮
      like NO FREEWAYS and NO TUNNELS roads and there wouldn't have any kind of road infrastructure or
      No COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE PLANS.
      No development of nation without backbone of nation.
      DYNASTY FIRST BUILDER GOVERNANCE MODEL
      NATION LAST MODEL..
      IS THIS GOVERNANCE MODEL GOOD ??

    Lovely video and explanation! Always enjoy your namma Bengaluru and vicinity videos - superb videography and informative/simple narration style. Keep it up! While no other rail system in the world has the passenger density/volume, infrastructure, and people behavior challenges, and while IR has made great strides especially since 2014, the issue of littering around tracks has to be urgently addressed - education, enforcement with real consequences, and equipment to handle the waste…
    It is such a travesty that even the most verdant of spots on the IR system are soiled/spoiled by the massive amounts of trash and other waste that are recklessly discarded. Train station platform cleaning and upkeep seems to have received a massive boost under the Modi government; yet, not much focus on track-side cleanliness!
    Aside from environmental and health consequences, doesn’t do well for the reputation of the country!

    Your dedication to such informative posting is tremendous!👏🏼. I need one clarification, as I'm a regular B'luru Chennai traveller by train. The detour via Jolarpettai the last 100 years, that too with a huge south loop is a terrible waste of travel time and the railways know it. They could have acquired lands from around Kolar to Gudiyatham during Kengal Hanumanthaiah days, but sadly he didn't. Now the acquisition cost is exorbitant. Anyway, it can be done even now given the burgeoning demand between the two major southern metropolises.

    • @NatarajanC12119
      @NatarajanC12119  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The huge loop was made because of a freight yard build around 50 years back. Suggestion were sent to railways for shorter route but nothing moved.
      I guess the future concentration will be on the Bullet train project between Chennai and Mysuru via Bengaluru. Lets hope for the best

    It’s 2025 and we’re proud of 130 while the world is trialling 500.. Our railways has set the bar so low, anything above 100 is considered game changing 🙄

    • @dharmicwisdom9818
      @dharmicwisdom9818 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      You can't go from snail pace to 370 quickly. When Japan and other countries were planning for 130 km and 220km trains, our ministers were making people fight how many trains each state got and neglecting upgrades and showing it as profits. So what happened after 2014 is to improve railway station infrastructure, lay new tracks, create new railway stations, upgrade current ones, improve cleanliness, create railway overpass, improve signalling, dedicated freight corridor, introduce 160 km Vande Bharat trains. Introduce higher speed Amrit Bharat trains. Remove curvature as much as possible along tracks, electrification reaching 97 percent etc. Future is High speed trains and certain politicians even detailing it. So we are against a huge fight against entrenched mentality thats blaming everything to fares to environment to scuttle progress. So the process is ongoing and we can see improvements every decade with much faster and better trains.

    • @srikanth85in
      @srikanth85in 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ There’s no point of introducing 160kmph trains and charging superfast cess while those trains go at an average speed of 60-70kmph. Last I checked even the track infrastructure falls under the government. So, no excuses for them. It’s like getting a sports car but making it go on potholed roads.

    • @dharmicwisdom9818
      @dharmicwisdom9818 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@srikanth85in Every bit worth for the common man to have better travel experience. The average speed of all passenger trains now improved by 30 percent and stand at 80km/hour in just 5 years. While freight time reduction by 100 percent. An improvement that keeps happening and need to be carried forward into the next decade where the average speed keeps increasing with consistent improvements. This helps run more trains carrying more passengers.

    It's all good. But when the Chennai Jolarpettai was upgraded to 130kmph in 2023, SR said there will be a reduction of minimum of 20-25 min for all LHB trains. However, no change in time schedule in their time table. Even after the speed increase, Brindavan, Lalbagh takes same 6 hrs and Shatabdi takes same about 5 hrs.. VB trains are 4.5 hrs. Zero net benefit or reduction in time taken.
    Trains do slow down a lot in multiple points and Unless SR /SWR reduces them, there cannot be significant reductions in time to cover this route. Probably VB and Shatabdi trains starting early in the morning from Chennai and Bangalore might see a reduction of 15 min or so. 10:32

    • @rky9438
      @rky9438 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes sir that's true. There is no significant time differences even though the speed limit is increased. The same timings are followed even now between Chennai - jolarpettai. The only thing, i observed is, the time taken from MAS TO KPD has reduced. atleast by 10mins. And while reaching kuppam, Bangarapet the trains usually come with a delay of 20-30mins bcz of uphill gradient. That delay was managed by slack time between BNC-SBC. But now, due to upgrading of speed from 110 to 130kmph, almost every train reaching KPN, BWT at the right time table without delay. That early arrival is helpful to reach Majestic much earlier than previous timings

    On one side 130 kmph max speed. On the other side, in the same lines, congested between Bangarpet - Bangalore City causing commuter or even Express trains to be held and delayed - waiting for Vande Bharat / Shatabdi / priority to overtake or no platforms or signal. First clear the bottlenecks for through running of trains - alternate tracks, avoid cross-over points, platforms availability, signal upgradation etc and allow commuter / Express trains to run normally at average of 60 kmph without undue delays or suffering to ordinary travelling public.

    The easiest way to speed up train travel between Chennai and Bangalore is to link Katpadi and Bangarpet with a straight line track. We don’t need fancy trains and all that. At affordable prices to the travellers, with both normal and AC chair car coaches, you can have two types of normal expresses that will cover the new distance in 4 hrs and 5 hrs. Charge super fast extra for the first one. That will decongest MAS-JTJ section for improved services to Salem, Coimbatore and Kerala.

  • @SukumarDevaguptapuLife-Smiles
    @SukumarDevaguptapuLife-Smiles วันที่ผ่านมา

    Great insights and commitment, kudos!
    i. Speed has just become a fancy word with VB, and, coming to Bangalore - Chennai section, it is congested for most part and the entire track and structure was never made for speed as much as for weight, and just for the sake of 360 kms all this running about is not worth the while..! Not to speak of rains and weather which requires frequent maintenance. If yet one intends for speed, the trains should be short, max 8 coaches, and the bigger question is, why/which station does the train stop/not stop!
    ii. The dire need at this point of time is daily commuting, shorter distances and working with other transport services, so roads and underpasses are a priority. (VB is likely to terminate at Bangalore Cantt. but there is no metro connection..!!)
    iii. Railway Officials/Contractors are thieves, -- the beautiful structure at Bangalore Cantonment they probably sold the same or used the valuable precious stones for their private houses.

      Getting land and cost involved will be more. I guess the concentration will be on the bullet train project between Chennai & Mysuru via Bengaluru

    Cantonment station is a heritage building. I hope the authorities will retain the old design when they finish it.

    Thank you Mr Natarajan, very well done. What could be the running time between SBC and MAS once the line is cleared for 130KM. Of course including the regular stops as of now.

    Standing on the platform how did you estimate the speed (of 135 kmph)? Slight timing errors in manual methods can result in huge errors in the estimated speed.
    LATER UPDATE EDIT: Ignore my comment above. I had posted it after just 8 mins or so into your video. I later noticed that you had stated a camera video frame based methodology. That's accurate enough. Thanks, great video!

    They finally decided to get these lines ready and the trains up to the mark. They in New Delhi where never happy to consider this route to be important. As they always sent some outdated coaches of an 2 decades old discontinued train 🚂 to run between Chennai n hydrabad or chennai to Bangalore.

      Coaches do have life span. So cant say outdated but yes preference to new technology or speed improvements were generally seen first in the North
