I made something very similar about 70 years ago when I was a Girl Scout. I think the seat was some sort of box where we could store thread spools and other sewing things. Love it.

I watched this video several months ago. It was one of the 1st of your videos I watched. I know ive come a long way and have learned so much from you, that in watching it again now, I don't feel so I timidated by it. This is my next project. I finished making the boot pin cushion, so onto this one. Well once I give my hands a little break, and order the foam. The boots turned out sooo adorable. I need to get some longer shoe laces though. Limited supplies where I live. I cant wait to get started. A teenie tiny sleeping pup would look so cute on this too.

If you put a steel wool pad inside it will sharpen your pins. That's what my grandmother used to do when she made her pin cushion chairs.
