Lisa, I just loved creating my first pin cushion. As with so many other projects during the early stages I say to myself (maybe out loud as well) "...this is never going to work". But as you have said many times that when you start to see the creation coming together it's amazing. Actually it's quite magical. Thank you again!!!!!!
Fab Fab Fab....a Boot who knew. Thank you. x
I love these boot pin cushions, so cute and easy to make. Thank you for all the free patterns! So helpful. You explain everything so easy and everything is simple to make.
Your creations completely blow me away! You are so talented! The Doc Mehrten is gorgeous! And i love your little sewing machine one too. Been out buying materials to make both. I'm hopeless on sewing machines though. But you've inspired me. Thank you for sharing your amazing patterns Lisa. Love fae Bonnie Scotland 😊
Thank you Lisa for this pin cushion it’s the first one I have done it’s not perfect but it’s just gorgeous,I have made it for a secret Santa in a sewing group I belong to I am sure I will have to make one for my self x
I just made one and that pattern sews itself - it is just so spot on. I made mine using suede ( main boot) and leather ( sole). I leather punched the holes. I used leather flowers with lime green 6mm doll buttons in the middle. Lime green polka dot 10mm grossgrain ribbon tab. Used lime green faux suede thonging for the laces and lime green sock with brown and white simple flower pattern on it - that pattern is so cute not even I could make a mess of it. For my next one ( yellow or orange I think) I am going to put a plastic pot covered in fabric where the sock sits and put some flowers in to make a little plant pot and one to put my pens and pencils in for my sewing room. I know what I am doing for the next week or two. I am also making some to donate to my local charity shop as I was gifted a bag of leather off cuts so I got a free pattern and leather only fair that I give some of these little boots to charity shop. Thank you so much for this pattern - it is just adorable and so well designed.
Thank you Lisa, you will never know how much these tutorials are appreciated. Here in the UK were in a second national lockdown, the weather is cold and wet and its generally miserable. Getting out of our heads and into our hands is the only thing keeping some of us from totally loosing it at the moment. Your designs and techniques are brilliant, thank you 😁🥰😘
Hi, and Welcome, I’m so glad you have joined my sewing journey! I hear you, we have lesser restrictions here in Oz, however this Pandemic has shown me our greatest joys come from within. The fact that we can take a bunch of materials and in a few hours create a delightful thing which brings joy, happiness and a sense of achievement is quite wonderful. I’m so happy to help you all do that, please stay safe and well there, and happy sewing!😊🥰
Love love pin cushion I'm going to attempt to make 😊 just love all your videos you are so very talented please keep them coming always watching to see what is next ❤❤❤❤
Hello Lisa, I made the boot as is and it was beautiful, the molds are impeccable, following your explanations, everything is perfect, thank you very much for sharing. A big kiss from Montevideo Uruguay
I've been working on this one now. Actually making 2 at the same time. They are turning out really cute. I don't know how you do all the hand sewing. My hands and wrists are really hurting. Well arthritis and tendinitis flare ups and the cold weather doesn't help. Still haven't been able to get back on Fb since my account was hacked. They make it hard to recover your account. I miss seeing everyone's projects. Hopefully I will figure it out soon. Not sure which one I'll do after this one. I've still got many to keep me busy though. Thanks again for sharing your artistry, and encouraging us all to not be afraid to try new thing.
Hi Ursula, I’m sorry to hear about your hands, I’ve just been talking to my Masterclass about relaxing your hands as you work and Being mindful of Loosening your grip. I have Carpel Tunnel syndrome in both wrists, so I feel your pain. Try to vary your tasks. This project is particularly tough on your hands though. 🥰
@@payitforward9442 ouchie, yeah yours needs surgery. One thing I was taught many years ago, is tonuse a thick rubber band, and do opposite movements with it on your fingers. Extend your fingers outwards. This cold weather isn't helping either. I'm almost done with the 2 I'm making. The glues drying for the soles, and I need tomake the sock, go get some shoe laces. Can't wait. I get excited with each one I make.
@@payitforward9442 The purple one reminds me of the cast I was in last year close to this time. But then I also had a neon yellow one to jazz things up. I like your Doc Martins. Nice Aussie color. I wore boots for work before I retired, but I've never owned a pair of Doc Martins. Heard they were very comfortable. My sewing room is in disarray at the moment. I asked hubby to build me another sewing table and he did, but then I wanted more modifications to it which has delayed getting my room back in order. I have the material picked out for the cat and the dog and have a little bit of felt I've picked up cuz I just must make that sewing machine. I want to make all of them. Love your tie.

Love the Boot, I have a question, couldn't you use the heat and bond instead of glue on the double stack of heels together that you did at the beginning of the tutorial?
Hi I think your designs are delightful. I decided to try to make the boot but I am having trouble machine stitching the double felt - the glue keeps adhering to the needle and then every thing just snarls up. Do you have any advice please?
Hi Kimberly, I actually purchase mine from a local quilting shop here in Oz. Heat and Bond is just a brand name, any brand of medium weight fusible webbing\appliqué paper will work. I hope this helps 🥰

HOLA HERMOSO TRABAJO GRACIAS
I love all your videos. I was wondering if you have any plans for a gnome pattern. I would love that. Thank you for all you do. Wilma
Hi Wilma, A few people have asked for a Gnome, so I need to get on with it I think! Stay tuned!🥰
Will it work if made it out of cotton fabric instead of felt?
What felt do you use, please?
Precioso trabajó!!😍 me encanta
Love the Boot, I have a question, couldn't you use the heat and bond instead of glue on the double stack of heels together that you did at the beginning of the tutorial?
Hi Teresa, the double felt is too thick for the heat to pass through all the layers to bond them. So glue it is!🥰
@@payitforward9442 oh I didn't know that, now to find some heat and bond from spotlight. Thanks.
I am used to using woven interfacing and draw patterns on if you've glued 2 pieces of felt together already how do you draw pattern on please?
Merci beaucoup
I would like to purchase some of the glue u use. I cannot seem to find it anywhere.
Es auténtica y preciosa 🥰
Hi I think your designs are delightful. I decided to try to make the boot but I am having trouble machine stitching the double felt - the glue keeps adhering to the needle and then every thing just snarls up. Do you have any advice please?
Hi, First be sure any glue is completely dry before you stitch, and also I always use a Jeans needle in my machine, it helps a lot!🥰
@@payitforward9442 Thank you I will try that.
Can you post a link to where you get your heatnbond?
Hi Kimberly, I actually purchase mine from a local quilting shop here in Oz. Heat and Bond is just a brand name, any brand of medium weight fusible webbing\appliqué paper will work. I hope this helps 🥰
Very cute.
Thanks Amanda!🥰
magnifique ,la colle vous là trouvez ou dans quel magasin merci beaucoup
Xoxo👏🏻👏🏻❤️love love love the boot😍
I’m so glad you like it!🥰
