Wasn’t that also addressed another crime drama show too? I feel like I’ve heard someone say something to the effect of it’s not like I’m asking you to believe in ghosts or anything.
1:15 she asked Penelope for her name to see if she would respond. The neighbour answering only would have stopped Penelope if she understood what was asked and that the question was answered.
It also helps to establish cognitive function. I work in a nursing home and we have to do cognitive interviews. We often deal with family answering for the resident and we have to ask them not to so we know where the resident is mentally/cognitively.
In having this happen to Garcia they had a reason to tell us a bit more about her and also send our team into protect their own mode even Hotch who isn't much for showing emotion is like he came for one of us we're taking this guy down and new guy Rossi gets in on it even if he is a little harsher. Then when the moment comes JJ is a total badass.
19:28 I honestly love that everyone in the building has a gun. Obviously in real life, this may seem like a silly observation to make bc, why wouldn't they all have guns? Just bc they aren't main characters, doesn't make them not FBI agents! But its very easy to forget that in television, bc we don't actually see them being FBI agents! The little details in this show is one of the biggest reasons I LOVE it so much!
Like I thought I could not love or appreciate you more than I do for these Criminal Minds reactions, the way you are in profiler mode and appreciate & love the team as we do, and then the fact you are going to in the future do Bones reactions, man your concern for Garcia & your "Queen" remark for JJ proves that yes I can love and appreciate you even more❤️❤️❤️ Also Hello Kevin...
10:19 - that blind faith that friends have in each other is exactly why they are not allowed on the case. You can't be objective investigating close people.
The reason the gunshot wound moved is because they realized too late that if her gunshot wound stayed there it meant no more cleavage or add the scar every time so they made it ricochet to her stomach or something. The actress talked about it in the behind the scenes clips on the DVD.
Yo, you're prediction of "he's never gonna be in a church again" when I know what he says later on... that's some really good screenwriting there for you to have that initial reaction. Just another thing that stands out in this show.
I don't know if anyone else commented this, but to describe someone who is famous for a horrible reason the word is infamous, rather than famous. Being famous is for something good, like being a good actor or singer, but being infamous is for something bad. Serial killers are infamous. Love all your videos, just wanted to throw that word your way for future episodes! :) Can't wait to watch more! (I've seen this series several times over and I do have to say that you are an awesome guesser as to why and who done it! I'm always insanely impressed when you call it out almost perfectly!)
This the ep. when I started liking Rossi.. . "Im tired of that jackoff being ahead of us". and I guess JJ is more/better then just a liaison officer.. she is Great
Just had to mention, the serial killer from the previous episode is more like Jeffrey Dhamer than Ed Gein, Gein was never confirmed as a cannibal but he did keep body parts and made lampshades and ash trays from bodies he would dig up from cemeteries. Ed Gein was also the inspiration for the movie Psycho due to his mummy issues. Loved your reaction to Penelope getting shot though, these two are 2 of my favourite episodes.
Just found your channel. Love the reaction to 2 of my favorite episodes of Criminal Minds. As a dedicated fan of the Investigation Discovery channel, I understand your interest in cases like you mentioned. In fact my sister and I watch it so often that our roommate tells everyone that he's afraid to really make us mad because we could make him disappear and get away with it. Lol.
The wound was on her stomach because as they said in the episode. When she was shot the bullet ricocheted instead of hitting her heart and went deeper into her body. The wound is where they pulled the bullet out
That's great and all but the gunshot wound literally changed. Where she got shot and where they had her bandaged when she was put in the ambulance literally isn't the same spot.
@@SimpleReactions *Thats literally what they said* The bullet ricocheted and instead of hitting her heart like he tried it went deeper in her body, we never see the actual wound on her arm and its just as likely it was bandaged and sown up. The real wound in on her stomach where they had to operate on her to get it out. The doctors even say during the episode that they had to operate to get the bullet out since the Revolver doesn't leave a shell on the ground it embeds itself.
@@SimpleReactions The entry wound is the same, it just gets significantly less attention since entry wounds are easily tended to, its the fact he used a revolver that is so bad. The bullet is just stuck.
What bothered me last episode is that Morgan didn't think someone could like Garcia. And that upset her, which is a valid feeling. But it turned out he was right in this instance. That REALLY bugged me! This was an excellent episode. They mentioned that Garcia did something to get on a FBI "watch list". Tell us more!!!! Great reaction!
The way I read it was big brother protective mode. He sees her being all flustered and head over heels for this guy, and he knows she needs with her emotions, so what little guard she does have is down. All he wants to do it’s make sure she doesn’t get hurt.
@@Likeomgitznich Her side, his side. I understood what she was feeling but I agree with your opinion of Morgan. I just phrased it wrong. I should've said "she thought that Morgan thought someone like him couldn't like someone like her."
Oh my goodness!! Brand new subscriber here!!! You have every single one of my favorite shows on here!!! You are the first reactor I've found that has them all... well most of them. THE WALKING DEAD is my #1, Criminal minds, The 100, Grey's anatomy, Vikings!!! In the future please consider watching Dexter and Yellowstone. Then it will be complete. I'll be binging your reactions for months I'm sure..
I do know about him. Ed Gein was really screwed up in the head. When you're a true crime addict, you tend accumulate knowledge about cases. Cases that most people aren't aware of, like the deadly soapmaker of Correggio. If you know, you know.
23:14 The more appropriate word would be "infamous." Famous typically has a positive connotation whereas infamous is negative. It definitely feels weird calling a serial killer "famous" cause we associate it with good things. So, yeah! Infamous is better suited for people with bad reputations.
i love this one. but im a big fan of penelope. i do have trouble seeing the guy that plays kevin as anyone but xander from buffy. but i like that inthe end a character saw her for who was was and was totally into her, as it should be. i thinkthat was a nice turn after that other guy faked interest and hurt her feelings as well as her body.
Please remember to respect the rules of the channel with spoilers, talking about the next or future episodes, mentioning other characters, and the outcome of those characters. Thank you.
I have to disagree with the statement of Penelope being the coolest after showing an image of the Ghost World graphic novel. That book kinda stinks. Lol
Using "QUEEN!" to describe JJ is accurate!
Omg I love JJ so much 😍🥰
Right, JJ is a total badass Queen.
Yes yes it is
Or Bad Ass Or Amazing Or Hottie ETC
Yea JH is a crackshot ( Expert Sniper)
i love the bit when garcia says she doesn’t believe in guns and morgan goes “trust me, they are very real”
My favorite Morgan quote!
Wasn’t that also addressed another crime drama show too? I feel like I’ve heard someone say something to the effect of it’s not like I’m asking you to believe in ghosts or anything.
the funniest part of this episode is:
"She made me promise we won't treat her as a victim."
"Victimology: Why Garcia?"
I mean they probably meant like to her face 😭
1:15 she asked Penelope for her name to see if she would respond. The neighbour answering only would have stopped Penelope if she understood what was asked and that the question was answered.
It also helps to establish cognitive function. I work in a nursing home and we have to do cognitive interviews. We often deal with family answering for the resident and we have to ask them not to so we know where the resident is mentally/cognitively.
I honestly thought that the fact you were too furious that they shot penelope to talk about the last episode was the perfect show if respect.
"You need to find someone that is blown away by you" Not someone who will blow you away
JJ is a badass! Another great reaction!
In having this happen to Garcia they had a reason to tell us a bit more about her and also send our team into protect their own mode even Hotch who isn't much for showing emotion is like he came for one of us we're taking this guy down and new guy Rossi gets in on it even if he is a little harsher. Yeah Rossi, was still new to the team, but his show how capable he is, he new they need to found something because he was getting ahead of them
Iconic of JJ this was one of my fave moments 😂
This and in her house against Queen of Hearts Izzy
The character driven episodes are always the best got great morgen and Garcia interactions and JJ was a badass !!
19:46 Deputy Battle: You can't even stop me!
JJ: Wanna bet? (head shot) Stopped Ya!
The song at the end was called Heroes sung by the late David Bowie
The late GREAT David Bowie
Great episode. Loved Garcia in this one, the team really is there for each other.

2 actors from Buffy in this episode ❤
Wait... Who'd I miss? Xander and...

OH! Oh my God I did not catch that, but I see it now!

Also Joe Metheny who actually served victims meat at his barbecue stand
Love seeing the team rally around Garcia
NO i was so wanting to see ur reaction to the ‚she doesn’t want us to call her a victim‘ ‚lets talk victimology‘ part!
If I had one it would be here.
Oh my goodness, I've watched these episodes maybe 10 times but watching then with you!!! So much fun!!! Thank you for the ride!!!❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
This is the episode that got me into Criminal Minds. I love Penelope. I want to be Penelope!
Just found your channel. Love the reaction to 2 of my favorite episodes of Criminal Minds.

I am literally in the middle of this episode and then I see the notification.🤣🤣🤣
They ask your name to gauge your awareness etc so bystanders are usually not helpful when they answer instead
Rule one of criminal minds don’t mess with Garcia it will not end well for you witch you already seemed to figure out they all love her
Wow I got here earlier than I usually do, excited to watch
The wound was on her stomach because as they said in the episode. When she was shot the bullet ricocheted instead of hitting her heart and went deeper into her body. The wound is where they pulled the bullet out

Its not the same though. They messed up visually, it happens.

They made up for it with Kevin Lynch though
QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moving the gunshot wound isn't really a plothole it is more a cosmetic inconsistensy.

50 feet. Standing. Freehand. 9mm CZ-75 Compact clone. 5" plate all day long. 15-20 foot headshot for a trained shooter? Absolutely.
JJ is the Queen of headshots, yup
In later episodes (I think s9? With babysitters) she shots unsub to the head from a distance too
19:53 That face
Please remember to respect the rules of the channel with spoilers, talking about the next or future episodes, mentioning other characters, and the outcome of those characters. Thank you.
Penelope is the best.
Top 10 Best Villains list! That's what we need for this show, instead of the characters.
So Ed Gein Was Basically The Real Leatherface.
The guy who shot Penelope, reminds me of Clint Eastwood
I don't understand how but alrighty.
Reid and Garcia are my favorite
I'm in love with J.J. 10/10
Flawless victory!!!!!!
