@@themodelbench I’ve not fitted mine yet, but my thinking was to do exactly what you did. Just make them look taught and stick them where the length allows
ok I've seen the books in the Titanic but where do I hook them onto there is nothing in the PE and nothing on the frames. do I drill wholes in the top deck
@@themodelbench Brilliant, Just ordered the 3D China propellers, the standard ones that came in the box just have no detailing, What to get the funnels and davits next i think.
Looks great!
On the Academy 1:350, they just have holes in the deck and you use thread for the cables. This looks a whole lot more difficult to do.
..but looks a lot better…:)
I know for a fact if I were walking down the deck I would continually walk into those ropes.
Looking great now, the ship looks alive 🙂
Lol..Thanks Robbie. I've seen reference where the ropes reach the edge..but these were too short. Did you fond that?

@@TheModelBoatGuy Yep I think so...cheers :)

Watch my video about the 2 mins 25 part. You can see I attach them to a tiny base part that sits on deck. I think this was part of PE set.
These funnels look fantastic, Do you use any of the 3D china Titanic parts?
The funnels are China 3D…I’ve used others parts too..:)

where can I get the rigging plans from as I have this kit
I looked up various books and websites. I then decided on which rigging was always up. The flags changed depending on where it was in its journey.
