@@bradenswanson8329Not really, Sauron is a Maia, a basic demi god which can take many forms. He is very much unharmed by the force and lightsabers. Not to mention he can poison Vaders mind and turn him against Palpatine. Now Palpatine vs Sauron would be a more fair match up.

I'm honestly surprised how entertaining these wars are. They're fun! I will say though, Elven archers should have like a 99% accuracy in firing their deadly arrows, whole the star wars troopers should have like a 17-23% accuracy rate to make it more accurate, ha ha!

my big problem isn't how the LOTR characters are portrayed but how Star Wars is, unarmored Rebel troopers have deflection and 2500 health when in lore, Stormtroopers which are elite soldiers have died to single arrows and clubs, Darth Vader and the other hero units are accurate tho

I think if the Jedi used the force in this game, they would just be too OP. Those guys can pull Stardestroyers out of the sky. Vader can tear ships to shreds as if they were paper (as seen in Kenobi). So "realisitically" Vader would kick Sauron's shiny metal butt. That doesn't mean it will be easy. Sauron is no pushover. He has magic on his side. And if Vader gets to use the force, Sauron gets to use the Ring. If that's the case, Sauron would throw Vader, just like he does here. He could probably use Vader as a makeshift broom for a while. But that's only until Vader gets mad.

These were like "super-heroes" in modern mythology. In Tolkien's mythos, even the common Numenorian soldier was basically a Captain America-like super-soldier compared to a modern, normal human. And both Elendil and Gil-galad were way, way above that. Especially Gil-galad who was not even human, being one of the most powerful of High Elves.

Ya know. There is no way that the Star Wars characters are better. The lotr characters would and should win. Sauron is too OP for ANY of the especially if he had the one ring.
I mean, they don't really give the SW heroes a fair shake. Vader wouldn't have to close in on opponents, he has the Force. Outside of Sauron, the LOTR heroes would be no problem. Force crush is an existing power I. The SW main canon and Vader was fully capable of using it. So Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas all just get their hearts stopped or wind pipes crushed. Not sure with Sauron. I've read the major books and a couple of the histories, but I don't know what weakness he had when he was wielding the ring. In physical form without the ring, assuming he is not immune from physical death, I think Vader wins easy, like with the others. But again, I'm no expert on Sauron and all the powers, strengths, weaknesses he has.

But Sauron is a Maia, he is on a WHOLE different playing field. He is a spirit. Maia can take on different forms when they please. Sauron could remain incorporeal or take on a physical body. But he poured most of his power into the ring so that he could corrupt the free ppls of middle earth. So with the ring he’s at 100% full power. But without the ring he’s less, let’s say 50%ish. Still a force to be reckoned with, but not near as powerful as with the ring. So it all depends on whether he has the ring or not. I can’t look that close tho lol 😂

Who would win if Sauron and Darth Vader fought, you ask? Well, don't mind if I do...
Firstly, Darth Vader can't kill Sauron. Period. Even decisively more powerful beings like Manwë couldn't. The only being that could would be God (or a counterpart/stand-in, depending on how you view the Tolkien cosmology and Eru). Sauron was 'defeated' permanently by reducing him to a powerless spirit, which was only possible by destroying the Ring.
Sauron, meta-wise, was the original Dark Lord, inspiring many copies, most of whom lacked the original's complexity. The only cool thing about Voldemort not copied from Sauron is the snakes. Otherwise, he's just a much, MUCH lesser version. Palpatine was also a simplified Sauron, an evil tyrant who likes political schemes, but that kind of works, because in 'Star Wars', much of it works precisely because they keep it simple. It's a feature, not a bug.
Darth Vader holds a special place among the many Sauron clones in that he actually managed to mirror the original. He started in 'A New Hope' as just a super powerful villain, like Sauron in 'The Lord of the Rings', perhaps with some vague hints that he wasn't always a bad guy (I don't remember if Kenobi said Vader used to be a Jedi in the original), but grew more complex as the world was explored more. Hell, Vader's stated desire in 'The Empire Strikes Back' ("we will end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy") is definitely something Sauron would approve of. To Darth Vader's credit, he spent a comparatively long time as a hero (as far as we know) and even canonically successfully redeemed himself. He grew beyond Sauron's long shadow... in a meta sense. But has he surpassed the Lord of Mordor on the battlefield?
Sauron has been physically overthrown before. Darth Vader is the most power Sith and Jedi ever, likely more than a match for Elendil the Tall and Ereinion Gil-Galad. However, Sauron can create new bodies for himself, or even fight while non-corporeal.
Without real means of truly putting Sauron down, at some point the Sith Lord is going to run out of juice. Even assuming he can use the Force to protect himself from Sauron's magic.
It's easy to underestimate Jedi and Sith, who can be at star levels of power. But Ainur are even easier to misjudge in that regard. The Ainur collectively built Eä - the entirety of physical reality. And Sauron is high tier among them, the greatest to join Morgoth. He's beyond Gandalf the White, by the admission of the latter; even as Olórin, before being heavily restricted, he said he didn't want to go, because he feared Sauron. Yes, Olórin was never said to be remarkably powerful, but even as Gandalf the Grey he was able to match Dúrin's Bane, a Balrog - fire Ainu - who personally overthrew the greatest Dwarven Kingdom in the world. Oh yeah, Dwarves are fire resistant. Even while controlling his own power to avoid destroying parts of Mordor as a side effect, Sauron conjured massive storms spanning from Mordor to Minas Tirith, and was powerful enough to cause a snow storm in the Misty Mountains from Mordor, without the Ring, as a shadow of his former self.
Sauron is also a master manipulator, something we know Vader is vulnerable to. His tragedy is he's too emotional to be a good Jedi, and too noble to be a good Sith - not for lack of trying, but all his evil deeds were for one reason or another, never just because he fancied doing some war crimes. This left him in perpetual mental torment, which Sauron would happily exploit, entering his mind and conjuring up visions of Padmé. He already used that exact trick before.
Vader would also never have it in him to destroy the Ring. He likely wouldn't even have the strength to wrest it from Sauron, truly.
This fight would never be a stomp. It would be a sight to behold, a clash of titans. Vader would have unpleasant surprises in store even for the Lord of the Rings himself - just his lightsaber would give Sauron pause. But in the end, the Sith Lord would have lost before the first blow was struck.

I now check how many elven archers against clones is fair.
It also depends on range; 5000 archers against 100 clones could only kill 1 clone when they start out of range.
Straight besides each other the elves win, but the 100 clones still kill 2000 of them, in the 10 seconds that that battle lasted.
Only 30607 Star Wars units remain
In a small scale battle, 50 clones against 8000 archers, the archers could win, with a 1000 left.
So, one clone against hundred elves seems fair.
100.000 clones against 4 million elves is still 1 clone against 40 elves.
And that is not having thought about the melee units. They're even worse against clones.
Change some of the settings to balance out the troops, like make Sauron a bit faster with less health, and give the other heroes more health. Give all Jedi a % to deflect as well.

As a Warhammer fan, him calling Gotrek "knockoff Gimli" triggers me. When Gotrek worked with an elf he made sure that knife ear knew his place. That and he solos not just Gimli but most of Lord of the Rings, Sauron has about 50/50 odds I think. But yeah, Warhammer Fantasy is kinda just knockoff Lord of the Rings, which is the worst part.
I mean gimli was made first tho, and unless I'm mistaken the lotr verse is just as powerful as Warhammer 40,000 thanks to the fact that literally God is just a character in lotr

The Chaos Gods that are the main antagonists only have a pocket reality, they can't make an entire universe or anything, maybe Tzeentch could but he's insane and would probably think it was too boring to bother with. Outside of literal deities though Gotrek can kick butt. Although I haven't read the book where he tries to kill Nagash, the God of Death, yet... Gimli definitely came first, and was a major inspiration for Gotrek, I'm just joking about who wins in the ring (pun intended).

Nope lol, Vader is mere mortal human who has a lot of Force stuck in a metal suit. Sauron is a Maia. A spirit possessing demi god powers. He wouldn't even fight Vader.
