I don't know about letting tarantulas move in. They all attack without provocation anytime you get in their general vicinity. But the rest should be fine.
This is literally what the game says when you catch a frog: “I caught a frog! Or it’s a new neighbor...and I have some apologizing to do.” So, this cartoon is pretty much on point.
A lot of games and shows are like this. It’s like how all the characters in Arthur are anamorphic animals yet pets exist
I think it’s because there are are human-like animals and “normal” ones.
I personally have Tad, a frog, living on my island. I've given him two frogs, and I plan on giving him a tadpole.

So, that is a game theory, it MIGHT not be true, but, it might be true also. So, that means, all the "animal" villagers on the island are actually human like your character, but, your character actually has a disease which make him/her see the people as animals. (I'm calling the disease a "disease" instead of the actual name, it's because I forgot the name of it, and i'm too lazy to google it, but I'm using up almost ALL my energy on typing this, so lucky you, I got to tell you the story. PEACE! Imma take a nap.)

I think you’ll find the Greg Amiibo in Australia island in the Southern Hemisphere. They’re pretty common there.
I would've hoped for a goat villager that makes reference to toriel from undertale. She would teach the player on how to do gardening. Do it right and she would reward with a delicious slice of pie. She also likes to collect bugs like butterflies as one of her text could say. 'I love butterflies,they remind me of snails,they both are are equally beautiful.' She even makes mention of a friend of hers who 'made puns and liked to eat potatoes and tomatoes.' A little nod to the smiley trash bag that is sans.

Yea, they are Insects of the order Hemiptera, cicadas, aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, and shield bugs are included, while the lovebug is a fly, and the May bug and ladybug are beetles. Arachnids are not Insects a all.

I've gotten that scorpion as a visitor a couple times, but whenever I go talk to him, he's super rude to me! But since he's the only scorpion in the game (like how Octavian was the only octopus for a long time), I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt. But then he wanted to kick out one of my favorite villagers! So I've never let him become a resident, unfortunately.

For the squid, and other mainly water thriving beings, a river system could theoretically be made, of fresh water, or connected to the ocean for salt water, unless just placing the ocean residences by the beach with their own homes designed to be in water, with perhaps a wood bridge system to allow land guests.
And wow, assuming the tarantula would attack people because they're toxic? (calls the cops)
Though in theory, the museum could be considered their residence, just no freedom, in which case not much of a home even if they're well cared for.
as funny as this is, it would never really happen. most animals in Animal Crossing seem to at least understand that other lifeforms, while similar to them, are really not the same at all. it's just like how you (reading this comment) or I differentiate ourselves from Chimpanzees or other Apes. there is no discrimination because those "discriminated" evolved entirely differently and aren't part of society. it's not anything new within that world haha

In an interview with The Verge, New Horizons producer Hisashi Nogima calls Nook "a very caring, really great guy" and says that, without him, there would be no game. He says the money the player owes Tom is "one of the biggest motivations that users have to continue playing Animal Crossing."
You could argue that the game forces you to go into debt to Tom, so that's hardly a strong claim. Aya Kyoguki, director of New Horizons, makes a good point, though. She says, "Even if we borrow money from him and it takes time to pay him back, he never gets angry, he never gets mad." Try borrowing money from a real mob boss and not paying it back because you're too busy fishing. See how they respond to you (please, please don't actually do this).
Tom nook were friends with sable! And sable doesn’t see Tom nook as a loan shark or the ceo of EA! Sable see’s Tom as a big brother she never had! And Tom nook sadly got scammed by the evil crazy redd and made him really unsuccessful in his early life and has a sense of sadness! that’s why Tom nook had a shop made of wood in animal crossing GameCube! He was poor! And remember! You don’t have to pay Tom nook! He won’t send out the IRS or the raccoon goons! He gives you a place to stay and you don’t have to pay back to him! You can return the money in a million years and he would not be angry! I could’ve learned a new language with that defending!

I think its because for some weird reason there are sentient animals and non-sentient animals, which is particularly strange considering the frogs... best not think too hard about video game logic.
