Watched this dude skate spa and many other places around Austin a long time ago...he would also skate with pros when they would have demos over there ways before house park was a thing. It was kinda cool seeing somone go from a random skater to pro and and even seeing him at x games, street leauge etc.

Went from being a local Texas legend to traveling the world competing against the top pros! Crazy watching his local shop part years ago here in San Antonio Tx to now being on the berrics TH-cam!!🤘🤟 GANG!!

One of my all time favourites since Digital - Smoke and Mirrors.
Loved the short period of time this guy was on SLS... he always brought out something new and was clearly one of the most consistent skaters around. Switch god as well

Coming from a Texas native myself, seeing another Texas local get as big as he did is so awesome. First time I saw him back in 2004/2005 skating Allen I knew this dude was going somewhere. I remember back in 2006 I ollied a 13stair in Dallas, and he switch heel flipped it 😂😂😂 Cody is a legend.

Actually went skating for the first time in like 5 years today. I skated for 15 years but damn that shit is difficult after not doing it for so long lol but after warmin up, it was like I never stopped. So happy I went✌

This dude has-been consistent since day 1, he use to come to our local skatepark before anyone knew his name and do shit nobodies done there.
Used to skate with this dude at Southside skatepark in Houston Tx. back in 2007. He was killing it back then and was a local legend. Dope as fuck to see him on the Berrics all these years later. Chillest gut you'd ever meet, he's humble af and instantly one of your homies. He doesn't get the recongnition he deserves.

He's crazy consistent, that regular and switch montage of the blunt flips etc. was insane!
He used to show up at touring demos at Skatepark of Austin, he turned the heads of several pros, some would even take a break and just watch him. Not only is he technically proficient, he is really consistent, doesn't bail that much.
Glad to see this guy getting some footy these days. Too much talent I watched back in 13' get sucked into drugs and wasted away. I remember him skating Irving park pretty much rolling lines like these and Nollie back bigs were super popular in the Texas scene at the time, perhaps in part thanks to this guy. I think I was BS flipping the step-up and he came up to me talking about the layout of the park and how interesting it was for him. Very cool to see the mind of his unravel the terrain like a puzzle then reconnect it in ways that he saw how it would fit. Super cool guy, style still steezy as ever. Love his shifty kickflips. I grew up skating in the 90’s. I think kids nowadays see this and think it’s always been like this and it’s kinda whatever. I am blown away every new ‘destroying the berrics’ parts every time. These guys are so good now it’s pretty messed up.

Been a huge fan of cody mac since he first blew up with the crazy baggy clothes! He's amazing, if only he could keep this consistency during the contests he skates, he'd win them all! I think nerves must get to him.

Actually switch everything for that matter, when he did the little montage on the quarter pipe doing everything switch and regular I was seriously blown away, don't even think a lot of pros could do that

First time I saw him was on SLS and he seemed sort of sucky compared to others. Some people aren't really made for the competitions. Riding free like here, he's an absolute unit. Big ups Cody
