Hello sir , What If I put a delete lock on a particular resource (X) within a resource group (RG) & try to delete the RG itself. Does this actually delete the RG completely ? or delete all the resources within the resource group except X ?
Sandeep Ji, good explanation. Unable to understand one thing let's say if lock associated with resource group and under that group we have classic cloud service configured, is the lock create issue with its functionality if the lock is for delete action only

It will delete only other resources except X resource in which lock is set

Lock is only to protect your resource group and resources for accidental deletion

only "Owner" permission can remove the lock
