Yea, he underplayed her u. It's great in the corner. She has so many options off a pokr to mix up, and the U options just add even more to the mental stack
both options out of light wall can be option selected on reaction with a medium button
You forgot about 66L, one of the best universal inputs in the game. Kata can combo 66L into something like M, M, M, qcf U and loop it again 66L, M, M, M, qcb H to get the wallbounce or whatever. No super because of the qcf U.

i've to take notes on this, just starting on the game and having a lot of fun, i'm a noob tho. Did a litte search and found out 66L is her light dash attack, but what is "qcf U and qcb H"? Is there a place where can i learn the inputs termonology?

@houndofchulainn5324 Dash and hold forward, then press your light attack. You will get a quick shoulder bash attack. If it hits, then you can combo that into your medium auto combo (explained in the video many times). After that, you can either do Right bumper + your unique attack button or a quarter circle forward with your anolog stick + Unique button. Its the same attack just different inputs and the quarter circle input does a little more damage because its a harder input. After the opponent goes down onto their knees from the sword impaling them dash forward and do the dash light attack again (you gotta be quick). You can rinse and repeat this combo if you have meter. Hope this helps anyone that doesnt understand the terminology.
her throw is a safejump aswell, pretty good for playing strike throw

Coming to Granblue from UNICLR and MBTL with Saber and Orie, I knew I wanted to play Katalina, and your guide was very helpful to explain some of the little nuances I didn't know about her kit. Thank you!
In the previous GB she could do mad damage in the corner off of her M-Frost with a wall bounce, should be crazy in this version too I hope.
What you can also do with her shield is cancel her far H on block in the corner and start making her opponents guess what is gonna comme next (backdash, fwd dash- strike or throw) while being pretty safe from any normal even the longest ones.
have you found any additional use for her 5U? curious to hear follow up thoughts regarding that button and it’s strategies

I don't think crouching light is plus on block anymore. When I checked it in the lab, it was -2.
5H is the most satisfying button to land. decent anti-air too
Better AA than her cr.H honestly...I check so many jump ins outside their range with it and it puts ppl on tilt 😂

Jumping light being extremely active is universal. Same for 66L being + on block, and 5L also being +. Those are all universal
I love playing Cammy in SF6 and trying to find a character that fits her play style. Would you say Katalina fits her style? If not what character plays most like Cammy?

I use Katalina 5U to punish predictable pokes in neutral
Pretty sure 2l is -2 on block and you can frame trap c.L into c.H
