    I failed to solve the first, but after you said that the second is very similar, i managed to solve it in about a minute

    Very good tip right at the end for puzzles, that if it looks unclear after some moves in your head, start looking at other forcing moves.

    Here's what I came up with for the last one; am I missing anything?: 1... Rxf2 2. Qxf7+ Rxf7 3. Rfxf7 Rc1+ 4. Rf1 Qxf1#

    3:18 but isn't the variation where the king goes down 4 moves?
    Edit: After you said that there was a mistake, I realized that Qg3 is a faster mate than Qh1

    11:11 what about Kf8? How do we continue from there? (after we pin the queen to the king)

    • @NMRobertRamirez
      @NMRobertRamirez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In that case, I think we just take their queen and we walk into an easy endgame to win being up a rook 👍

    • @Jo_Es_Chess_Channel

    If the king comes to G1, theres a checkmate in one move: Queen G3. Is this what you meant? BTW, tomorrow is the last day of the tournament i take part in and it's going to be a Blitz. I've never played a Blitz that was of any serious importance before. How should I balance calculation and timing?

    • @NMRobertRamirez
      @NMRobertRamirez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you are correct, Vladislav 👍 And at this point, the best tip to remember is to now dwell on logical and simple moves. Those moves, just play them and do not overthink them. If you had had time to prepare, you could have played blitz games to adjust and prepare, but that will be next time!

    • @vladislavshevchenko9970
      @vladislavshevchenko9970 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, my score is 3½ out of 11. I think the most important thing in Blitz is opening, I only once made it to the endgame and once my opponent didn't know the opening I was playing and surrendered after a blunder in the opening (I pinned his queen, he should've put it back to safety after taking my pawn, definitely not let me develop ar the expanse of the queen). And endgames are also important, i only made it once that far, but I made a blunder which resulted in a draw. THANK YOU for your lessons.

  • @zohraouhamouch198
    @zohraouhamouch198 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    In the last one you can also go QxF2 they are forced to play RfxF2 then you can go RcC1, if they block with RfF1, then you take with RfxF1# right?

    • @NMRobertRamirez
      @NMRobertRamirez  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Zohra! That move is interesting, but after Rc1+. they could block with their queen by doing Qd1. Let me know if this makes sense 👍

      yeaah hehe this is what I do. even the games that I learned. I look at the front chessboard without making the first move. and I visualize every movement. and also when I play games against people. we have 30 seconds at the start of the game I visualize my opening or I make the first move and I visualize the opening of the opponent. and for puzzles too. I learned all this with you and my improvement is thanks to your advice on working methods and lessons etc .. thank you very much master .. I did not expect to reach 2100 elos in classic so quickly against players who play very well. that I have a good time when I find a player who is playing really well and the position is blocked and I calculate and visualize all the possibilities and tactics etc. and when I make a very good move. I'm happy if the opponent finds the best move to stop me too. because I will still think about an even stronger move etc. and when I do long calculations that exceed 15 moves and it works. I am very happy . and especially if there is a tactic in this calculates with a fork or something like its. I pretend I scored a goal hahah I shout yaaahh hahahahaa the chess really I'm addicted and I really like the feeling when you win against a good player and my brain has worked well.
      thank you for encourage me every day too and take a time for me evrytime i ask you a question thank you so much

    On the last one, wouldn’t it be better for white if after Rc1 they went Qd1 instead of Rxc1? I mean, I understand they’d have to trade a queen for a rook, but at least there’s no immediate checkmate afterwards.
