    Thanks for Sharing. I am a fan of Long Bay Beach. I am surprised no St Martin destination on the list.

    • @RasielSuarez
      @RasielSuarez 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Was just there over the weekend. The beach is amazing and, yes, there are quite a few of these very high end villas but there's almost nothing to do in the island besides hanging out on the beach. Not even one McDonald's in the entire country. Provo is... well, not exactly a dump but pretty shabby and the infrastructure is run down. Everything is super expensive here - which is not a big deal for those who can afford these mansions of course.

      @@RasielSuarez . McDonald's wouldn't survive in St. Martin. On both side. The French and Dutch side. They don't have the population. Also. The local don't fancy junk food. That being said. You are right about there's nothing to do in term of night life. No activities 😕. Just the beach and great food and drinks 😋. It is a beautiful island though. I love St. Kitts 🇰🇳 and Nevis.

    I am interested in the GREAT CARIBBEAN NEIGHBOURHOODS WHERE THE LOCALS CAN AFFORD TO AND DO LIVE IN. The international stars buy up great seafront properties etc. and have created enclaves for themselves. I can see myself living in Cherry Gdns or Norbrook in Jamaica. The other places are out reach for our people. If a local owns one, the odds are it is an investment property.

    These choices are subjective. All across the Caribbean one can find similar and even better enclaves of extravagant luxury. The prices many times do not match the properties, they are set by enterprising Realtors who drive up the values for their own ends. The appeal of living besides the celebrities mentioned is over rated as no one really knows what neighborly benefits they would bring to the community apart from an endless round of parties. These videos simply reveal the desperation of people to exclude others in pursuit of some fantasy about wealth. When a hurricane comes and, believe me, all those communities mentioned are vulnerable to seasonal storms, your living in a 30 mill US dollar home does not spare you from the terror. My mantra: “Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.”

    “…a mix of the cultures of the Tainos, African slaves and European colonists.”
