The Alternators always fascinated me. I wasn’t collecting at the time so I never got one. Modern realistic modes with G1 inspired bot modes..I hope they revisit that someday.
Thanks for doing this! One of the few Alternators I didn't collect at the time, so I was always curious exactly what I was missing. Looks like fun, but they couldn't have dropped the ball harder with those arms.
i think that takara should re visit the alternators line with today's standards, The line can be called Alternators/Binaltech 2020. The line doesn't have to start in 2020 cause it's a concept idea right now.
They did once with the Alternity line, what i remember of it it didnt faired well. Probably cause it was a heavy influence of Japanese sports cars no human outside Japan had heard of with a look of an ugly clobbered fish in car mode
@@TMan978 yeah they were like $9.99 it may have been around that years Christmas time, this year I found tripticon there but didn't have the $50 for it

I'm afraid they'd be $80 a piece

They would cost too much. They'd be like $80-90. I still don't know how they were selling them for $20 back in the day

Ashame 3P companies weren't really a thing back then, probably would've made an upgrade kit for this figure.
this is my favourite of all alternators
I remember seeing some of these in Ross a couple years ago great re edit I should've picked em up
What?!
A couple years ago must have been over 12 years ago

Where do you get your character stands that are that tall?
Amazon. Click the Amazon Link in my description and then search action figure stands or stage
Like you said, it looks like a car exploded into a robot
Lol
The car mode is great both in looks and aesthetics...but I can't say the same in its robot mode.
vhs is not always a bad thing and i think that is awesome, he's watching your ass through the back seat. thug life right there
I'm good. Just be a car. I'll drive.
