Thank you very much for the kind words. All that information can always be found in the description box below the video. I was using both of these set ups. 7wt Thomas and Thomas Exocett with Abel Rove and Airflo Streamer Max Short line 8wt Thomas and Thomas Sextant with Abel SDS and Airflo Gulf Redfish line
It’s a 7/9. Although you can easily use a 5/7. Best reel on the market in my opinion. Especially for what I do with it. Although bit of an overkill if you’re just fishing Brookies. Unless you’re fishing salt or something that rips line you don’t need it. TR is awesome! Also the best Click n Pawl out there. Easily can use that for all trout of all sizes.
@@Wish4Fish I really enjoy when you tell us which pattern and display the fly that ur catching fish on. Also, i don't know if I just missed it, but a Tanaka your socks off fly tying edit
I like big brooks and I can not lie.

Thank you very much for watching it that far 😉
That’s insane !
What months do you recommend for these Brook trout and pikes?
Thank you very much.
August for sure!
@@Wish4Fish thanks for the info!
You’re welcome
@@rockatanakahow did you organize your flight logistic? thanks
What time of year were you there? August / September?
I was there in August. No doubt the best time to go.
I’ve always wanted to go Labrador and was wondering how much was the total trip? If you don’t mind me asking?
This trip is around $6k. Not including gratuity or airfare.
Great vid …What was your setup for the brook trout ?
Thank you very much for the kind words. All that information can always be found in the description box below the video.

@@Wish4Fish right on …is your rove reel a 5/7wt if so how do you like it ? Also have you ever used the Abel tr

@@Wish4Fish if you were just using the tr for Brook trout around 6in to 2lbs would you buy the 4/5 or the 5/6?
I usually also go with the bigger option. Although in this case it really doesn’t matter. That’s more of a personal preference.
Super 💪💪💪
Thank you very much
Does that place have any big pike or lakers?
As in, bigger than the ones in this video?
I'm sure some monsters are in here but not around the holes we fish.
Yeah I mean trophies. Fish over 40”.
This place is a trophy Brook Trout fishery. The Pike and Lakers are secondary. Like I said, I'm sure they are in here. Just not where we are fishing.
That’s unfortunate
Man was his friend annoying, squeaky voice with a southern accent screaming every 5 min
