I love the copper ore design! It captures the copper ore texture really well. I would replace the dark bluish gray 1x1x2/3 bricks underneath the spawner with black ones if they exist yet. Genius design nonetheless!
3:35 i was part of the lego minecraft competition and with my dungeon, i used that technique and my spawner almost looked identical to the one you just built, even though i have never seen that technique before that competition. Its a pretty cool way to represent what monster the spawner is spawning.
The Badlands Expansion model was build 2 years ago... Anyways, 6:46 this is the reason I like these models so much, these clean tiles and simple colours. Perfect, down to the last minute detail.
It's always a great experience to rewatch these episodes, and if you do by chance, make another lush cave. You should add a waterfall on a small lush platform 👍
Banger video as always Cheesey. Since the last time I've watched one of these, I've become a Bricks and Minifigs employee and I use a lot of the things I learned from watching your videos to educate customers every day. Thank you for helping me stay passionate about the craft and spread that passion to others!
I've been waiting for this MOC for ages and I'm amazed by how you always manage to make every detail feel important in your builds. Keep up with the good work my g
A fun thing to add to the sheep farm is some 2x2 tiles on top of some of the fence posts to act as carpets so that players can make it easier for them to get in by jumping over them.
No matter how long it takes mankind to make the technology of shrinking people, but YOU MUST keep this module intact until that. These close up shots on how everything connects with interiors and other stuff makes me want to just *dive* into this diorama so bad lmao
Also omg I had a fun little idea, you could put any sheep coloured tile on the one fence post at the sheep pen to emulate how players will use a carpet block to allow them jump over the fence without the sheep getting out
Happy New Years Cheesey! while watching this, at 6:27, the moss block at the upper-middle-left is one plate shorter. im not sure if you noticed post-recording, but im just letting you know! Edit: Ive also been inspired by your videos for the past two years, and have built several small modules of my own, which include a Badlands/Desert, a portion of a Bastion, a Deep dark, and Snowy Plains!
You should add a cave that goes under multiple of the inner modules so you can see a cave entrance somewhere in the center, then see the cave slowly come towards you from one of the edges
I’ve been watching this series since the 3rd village episode, I still have the same love and admiration towards it despite all the years! Thank you so much for an amazing series and a good start to what 2025 will bring! :)
Hey just got to watch this, this looks great, can't wait to see the pale garden, I made mine like 2 months ago, I think yours will be better tho, keep it up
Great build! The lighting on the spawned does a great job replicating the flames around the spawner. Perhaps some part 37775 candle flame pieces around the spawner could add to that look? P.S. Reminder to add those wither skulls outside the cave with the wither in it
What would be a really cool idea is to add torches with lights around underground modules to give it more a feel that players have been there. It also makes looking in some underground modules easier and maybe also pretier. I have watched every episode sinds the first one and the world looks amazing^^
Another lush cave expansion would be great. Also what you could do is build couple of big azalea trees on the surface as well, since in game that indicates a lush cave is underground.
Great video, starting the year with a banger! I’m the player base, you could put a gecko tank with the friends gecko piece for Elsie! I just think it would be really cute :)
This module looks great, but the spawner is kinda too closed. Like you can't really tell if there are skeletons from a spawner or jjst some spawned naturally
If we get a desert expansion down the line for whatever reason, it would be kinda funny to see an exposed spawner or cave- theyre one of the things that mentally really stick out to me when exploring and it feels like theyre getting less common over time
What a great build! Yes a lush cave expansion would be super cool, you do such a great job with that biome. Can't wait for the cherry grove expansion! Happy New Years!
Dude! What a way to ring in the new year! And yeah, the Skeleton Dungeon is indeed one of the best Lego Minecraft sets of the past few years - wish I was around for the Waterfall Base, though (that set was awesome!). Happy New Year, Caleb! You know, now that I think about it, a waterfall might be a cool addition to the world, you have plenty of fiery equivalents for the Nether, but none in the overworld. Why not change that?
I think a cool idea for a bigger lush cave module could be a player camp or player cave entrance. Not a full on base but maybe like a small wooden structure with some important blocks could be a cool inclusion in the underground
You should place a flower on a 1x1 jumper with a stud next to a 1x1 plate to represent in game whenever I try and plant something they’re directly on the edge of the block
Imagine getting this as a real spawn! You would have everything you need in like less than 150 blocks (excluding that you’d have to burn the cherry grove so some work would have to be done there)!
I think i suggested a dungeon all the way back in the badlands segment 🥹 thank you so much for making this happen! ive been waiting for this segment for like 2 years... and ofc it looks just as beautiful as all your other segments!!
INCREDIBLE remake of an already great set, though I didn’t even realize there hadn’t been any spiders in the world so far and now I need justice for them
Could have maybe put black 2x1 under the spawner. To keep a more accurate block shape. As the base would look squarer. Also. Dungeon walls are also made of mossy coble stone. So you should do a mix of the different stones.
@CheeseyStudios wait my bad. Must be the very first version of them that I recall. But the spawner one still stands. I thing your is a bit too mishaped.
This is wonderful! I always love more lush cave. But, as you alluded to, how on earth will you do the Ancient city portal? Surely it has to be scaled down for the display! That's an insane project 😭
I recommend switching at least some of the gold bricks to yellow ones for the glow berrys because it might not be as accurate but will capture the more lit vibe of the biome
love this! happy new year, cheesey! mabye make the 1x1 snot bricks under the spawner black, to see if it looks more square, because although clever, i feel like it looks a little tablelike. (hehe mabye the skeleton underneath is like the dog that wants food X3)
