Adding a strong hold under the village would be super cool as a reference to the old pocket edition seed that used to be super popular where the entrance to the stronghold was through the well. At the bottom. Can’t wait for the next video and seeing the holes get patched up in the middle!

@@CheeseyStudios Perhaps on the space next to the village and above the Spruce forest, you could have some minecart rails taking villagers out of the village and into the base, like how real players transport them for making trading halls.
EDIT: Just finished the video, your planned ruined portal module seems to be exactly where I suggested the base should go. Perhaps it could just go behind the village instead.

This is an incredible video! Like others have said, this fills in so many gaps I had being inspired to make my own minecraft models. (Also,, as an avid minecraft and recent lego fan, thank you so much for helping me fall in love with lego minecraft as a theme and a concept! You are one of the few lego youtube channels I've seen that actually shows the potential that this theme has as an accessible intro to moc building and modularity and it's super refreshing to hear it not knocked down all the time lol). This is truly fun, seeing the whole thing come together from concept to final build. You've already shown the half plate raised road technique, but this was done on a slightly larger scale and on a few places as well.
Planning stuff out beforehand is certainly the way to go, though I'm not a stranger to simply starting to build on a baseplate, to only later completely having to transfer everything over to a Mills or completely redesigning the whole thing from scratch again. Failing forward, it is the best way to improve, even with lego.

Dear Cheesy Studios, I’ve watched your videos a lot until the Village Expansion and I’ve been making my own Minecraft worlds. You inspire me to make builds of my own. My request for you to build is a stronghold with an end portal in it. Thank you very much, love Adam aged 5 from Glasgow, Scotland (from mum’s account!)

If you’re ever needing a small plain looking bit of detail to put between a couple modules, the first night’s dirt house would be a cool inclusion. Literally just a one wide two tall hole dug into a dirt hill with a torch inside and a door slapped on the front. We’ve all done it once or twice when we realized we didn’t have time to build something more impressive before it got dark out.

Just a handy tip, in a minecraft world you can stop plants, vines etc. from growing past where you left them by setting the random tick speed to 0. Just copy paste the command below into the in-game text bar:
    /gamerule randomTickSpeed 0
So, the way stuff grows etc. in the game is through a block update: each tick (game's unit of time) the game chooses blocks to update (the randomTickSpeed value is the # of blocks). When a growing block gets updated it adds to a tally and when it reaches a specific number it grows. Telling the game to set randomTickSpeed to 0 says "don't update any blocks at all, please!"
Doing this will let you keep carrots at the same growth level forever, for even better detailing! Or keeping those warped vines from crawling up or etc.
    Absolutely loving the series!

This one has a certain beauty to it! The simplistic design and look of this module was such a nice break from the extravagant, larger modules of late. I loved the color change of the wheat from a tan color to a honey mustard, I wouldn't have thought of it, but it was quite awesome! Keep up the good work!
