I have just come across your channel and listened to your story. ❤❤ Keep up the fight positivity is the best medication. I myself live with cancer. I was told the same i was unlucky and had a very rare cancer. I live with chronic pain everyday but i get up and keep going. It does put me down but then i get up again. I wish you all the luck in the world with your battle ❤❤ But yeah keep up the fight. Its the oil with the hrt in that numbs my pain and its the only pain killer that works fully.. works. Legalise it and stop charging a fortune for it on prescription. Surely its healthier to take cannabis than it is to swallow 20 opioids and morphine daily which then leads to other problems. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with this rare leiomyosarcoma. The first cancer doc I went to said the tumor was in an inconvenient location so chemo was the treatment. I then went to the best cancer hospital in California (city of hope). The cancer doc there said surgery was the best way to treat. It was a major operation spent 4 months in the hospital recovering. I almost died. It was caught early, removed completely and I am now cancer free. I get a CT scan evert six months to check for reoccurring cancer.
1. Can't believe an ambo took 8 hrs! 2. I hear ur story, out of the blue my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable gastroesophageal cancer in 2022. Metastasis to liver, lung n bones. Given 3 mths. Done constant chemo since then. 3 full days every 10 days thru a heart infuser port. 2 lots chemo stop working n on his 3rd. Has not had more than 2 wks break so far. Even now, at home on palliative care with silver chain with me he is still doing 10 day x 3 day chemo. Deciding whether to keep chemo going... he was also originally told gall stones.. we went to a few drs over the years until we just accepted it was stones but ... it also turned out to be terminal cancer & we often wonder if it was first signs.. . Now, nearly 2 yrs later, its his liver that is out of control with tumours tho it not the primary cancer but is certainly the most aggressive. Good luck Luke from both of us ...❤ 🇦🇺❤
One of my past teachers, I didn't have classes with him due to school holidays over one xmas and during that time he started to get some pain and from that found out he had cancer and shockingly he was then deceased only about 3 weeks from the cancer after his diagnoses (he found out about it only a few days before he was about to leave with his wife on a big holiday for their wedding anniversary). Like you he wasn't aware he had issues and this was such a shock for all of us who he had been teaching. Best luck with things, pain really sucks
Wow that's horrible. Bit absolutely relatable, I will do a video shortly about this similar to one before about how easy it is to be missed and passed off as something else poor man. Yeah it really does 💜🥊
8 HOUR WAIT 🤯 The whole point of an ambulance is that it's an emergency. Is that normal there? I'm in America and had to call an ambulance twice for my son and never waited more than 10min and even then the fire department personnel showed up before the ambulance got here. 8hrs, that's wild.
Yeah, then you get a $500 bill in the mail weeks later. My elderly mother had to be rushed to the hospital 5 times this year. She now owes several thousand dollars because of it - and that doesn't even include her actual hospital bills. She has Medicare with supplemental insurance that she pays for every month, yet still owes boatloads of money for her care. Also, not everyone lives in an area with quick service. Poor and black/Hispanic areas routinely experience longer ambulance wait times than middle class/wealthy and white areas. If you're both poor and black/Hispanic, your wait times probably suck. And God forbid you need an air ambulance; that's going to cost you about $22,000 after insurance has paid their part. Our system is nothing to envy. Service is so quick here in part because many people - mainly middle class people who make too much money to qualify for Medicaid/free healthcare - simply choose not to get healthcare in many instances. They don't want the bills. It's nothing to brag about. The UK struggles with wait times because so many people use the system knowing they won't get bills. It's free at point-of-service. That's a huge problem in and of itself, but I'm not sure having a lot of people not receiving care at all is any better.
As smithy said, it's common now. It's a real joke. For all I knew I could have been having a stroke or heart attack, anything. Your services are much better but as ii understand you have to pay your medical bills separately?
@@iwillnotbedefeated Yeah there are pros and cons to both health systems. Fortunately during the time my son had cancer everything was covered. When it comes to children the state is more likely to pick up the tab, or I should say taxpayers. Even with a job chemo is impossible to pay for out of pocket. His "take at home" medicines were about $1200 monthly. And in the US a hospital cannot deny you service but you better believe they'll bill you for every cent lol The negative to that is people abuse it and go to the hospital for everything, simple things, like a common cold.
