Glad I ran across your video. I love the way the Lupo 72 shaves my face, but I don't really trust it shaving my head. I usually get a couple of nicks on my head. I decided to buy the Lupo 58 and try it for head shaves. Right now, I only have a few razors I trust with head shaves listed in order of preference: Henson AL13, Leaf Twig, Ikon x3, Rockwell 6 c/s plates 2,3 , Merkur 37c, Merkur 34c.
That is a super solid list!! Yeah i also find the Lupos with higher numbers to nick the head often as it seems like it's too much Blade exposure, but the 58 is perfect! Thanks for always watching and commenting Brian I really appreciate it

Man, now you've got me thinking about trying this one. I've been fighting the battle for years, and no matter what razor I use, I still get that irritated patch around the nape. I very recently got the razorock Hawk with 3 plates, as I love SE/Artist club razors, but I'm yet to try a head shave with it. Just got the BBS a few days ago, and ordered the Mamba .53 today. 1 of them HAS to work. 😆 I just found your channel today..sub'd. 🤝👊✌
Welcome! I have the MAMBA 53 as well, it's definitely serviceable for head shaves and it won't nip the nape, the only thing is that it's very very mild so need to do a bit more passes. The BBS i do not have but have heard it is good for head shaves!
@@gettingfreshwithamu here's hoping. I was content with the BBS, but the description for the Mamba specifically mentions that it's ideal for head shaves. So we'll see.
@@encapsulatio I have used it with Wizamet, Gillette Platinum and Gillette 7 o'clock Sharp Edge, all performed well, any sharp smooth blade will work. Perma sharp would be great too

You need to try the TWIG, I heard that’s great for dome shaves. It’s great for face shaves too obviously

Yessss. Try out razors with smaller Blade gaps they are good at not knicking the contours of your head
