Maybe it’s weird, but this is literally my dream job. Packaging orders for an online store. I’m not a visual artist (I do basically all kinds of art and crafts besides drawing) but I still feel like I would adore working all day grading pins, printing and cutting stickers, making buttons... It’s routine and maybe a little monotonous, but that’s my favorite!
Would you consider doing true pre-orders? That way you would know exactly how many to order, you’d be paid before you place the order, and people wouldn’t run such a big chance of missing out.
I think the 1 thing that would create a problem is the pins since she cant be exactly sure how bad the grade ratio would be. But for prints and the tapes it should probably be fine ?

Preorders are difficult because there are obviously wait times, so a month+ for pins, and then she needs to pack them which would be fairly stressful if she had a LOT of preorders. There's also the issue with shipping due to covid. Shipping is difficult at the best of times, but with how quickly things change (rates, shipping times, etc.) things may be different by the time the preorders arrive to her. I wouldn't do preorders while everything is still so uncertain tbh.
I feel like because you started vlogging on this channel and taking about the store is the reason things went so quickly. More people got to see the prep for the store and ofc got excited to buy things.
I was on there the very minute you opened, but by the time I got to the checkout 2 of the items I'd put in my cart already sold out. I couldn't get The Meeting, but at least I got the Kiki & Midna pin in an A grade. I later went back & got my Bayley Jae pin. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making everything is your shop affordable!!! I never thought I´d actually be able to buy from you without saving up a but; but was so happy that I could support you without breaking the bank. I'ḿ so delighted that you still sell ¨Bubbly¨ itś why I fell in love with your channel & art in general. I saved the art on my phone over a year ago & dreamt of the day I could draw like that. Now I can & your book helped me reach that goal! My health has been declining in the past 2 years my faith & art have been my sustenance. Thank you for starting me on such an incredible path I wouldn´t have made it without art & your channel!

I’m so excited I literally just got a Lac print like 2 seconds befor it sold out so I’m super happy it looks gorgeous like all the other prints of course unfortunately that was all I could get but I’m still super super happy

Please do another print run for it; I really had my heart set on it (along with 'Mountain Cat'). She even said it in the video that she feels bad because it happened so she’s giving a 10 minute hold if it’s in your cart, after 10 mins it’s fair game.
Sometimes people buy it much quicker than people who have it in their cart, so she put up and extension which lets you have 10 minutes to order everything else and buy it so it doesn’t get snatched up
I tried placing it, took a screen shot of 1:04pm MST, so it sold out in 4minutes or slightly less. I wanted Mr Bun Bun and The Meeting to go in my daughter's nursery/bedroom, it's woodland theme and those prints are PURRFECT. lol I did grab Mr BunBun, and the washis , so I guess next time I can get The Meeting, and whatever new pins :) I love collecting all the Bun pins

With the advent calendar you should make the limit to atleast 2 as i feel like some people might want to buy one for themselves and another for a friend of family member. Just a thing to consider
It means twice as many shipping prices to figure out, and twice as many shipping box sizes. Smaller quantity of each means more expensive. There are also only going to be 500 advent calendars, so I feel like a limit of one is more fair. It's my first time doing it, so I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. In the future I can get more ambitious with it.

That idea for the extension would be great for next time. I had the meeting in my cart and when it sold out it kicked me back to remove it then said my “choice of postage was invalid for this order” and while I was trying to get that to reselect my shipping option, (which is weird since theres only one option) Lac sold out too. 😕

I am glad i had my info on the google chrome autofill bc i was like click click click and done thanks to it. I got everything i surely wanted very quickly and had no problem with the cart, but then again i set up multiple alarms and waited on my phone with store page open and my card in front of me so I'd not have anything that would delay me. I was done within the first one or two minutes tbh.

Agh I forgot about the store update until I saw this vlog pop up on my youtube feed. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to try to do better next time around.

I’d love to have similar boxes to yours for my art! I hate using bubble mailers because they’re not very eco friendly but the boxes could be reused or recycled! And id be reducing plastic by not using the plastic bubble mailers
I totally forgot about the launch until this video but I still copped those pre-order Christmas bois. Forgot the Washi tape so now I have two orders oops lol. Also Have you thought about maybe converting the meeting into a pin design? I know you’d have to simplify it a bit, but I think it would make a nice pin.

Also I've said it before but I am so upset that I never used to watch vlogs before (not just yours, just everyone's in general) but after watching your vlogs I've started to realize that I never gave vlogs a fair chance, I've actually started watching more vlogs now on other channels too bc of you, and it's even made me rethink my own channels ☺️

That idea for the extension would be great for next time. I had the meeting in my cart and when it sold out it kicked me back to remove it then said my “choice of postage was invalid for this order” and while I was trying to get that to reselect my shipping option, (which is weird since theres only one option) Lac sold out too. 😕

I am glad i had my info on the google chrome autofill bc i was like click click click and done thanks to it. I got everything i surely wanted very quickly and had no problem with the cart, but then again i set up multiple alarms and waited on my phone with store page open and my card in front of me so I'd not have anything that would delay me. I was done within the first one or two minutes tbh.

Agh I forgot about the store update until I saw this vlog pop up on my youtube feed. Oh well. I missed out on a few prints I wanted and the kiki and midnda pin which I was finally going to grab this time around. I still got a few things I wanted though. I guess I'll just have to try to do better next time around.
I was there in the launch but the shipping is to expensive for me now. Maybe next time I will buy something! But I so happy about the sold out!
Literally missed a store opening and the things i wanted were sold by the time I got there so I set an alarm and one of the items I wanted was still sold out before I could get to adding everything to my cart! Super happy I got everything thing else though! Happy to support you and your art Baylee!

I’d love to have similar boxes to yours for my art! I hate using bubble mailers because they’re not very eco friendly but the boxes could be reused or recycled! And id be reducing plastic by not using the plastic bubble mailers
I totally forgot about the launch until this video but I still copped those pre-order Christmas bois. Forgot the Washi tape so now I have two orders oops lol. Also Have you thought about maybe converting the meeting into a pin design? I know you’d have to simplify it a bit, but I think it would make a nice pin.
