      Thanks! Yes, this stretch of trail was really nice with the bright colors of the autumn leaves on this particular day.

    I’m so impressed with the image quality of the pocket 3. Can’t wait to post some content with my own as it’s so convenient and a good match for the Action 4. Great job 👏🏻 👍🏻🇬🇧

      Thank you. Yes, I am loving the footage this camera produces relative to the size and cost. I consider it a good value.

    Thank you for the video, I just got the action 4 dji and is planning to get the pocket 3 as well for our in coming hike.
    May I ask what video editing tool do you use for clips from gopro, action 4, dji drone or sony cam? Used to use powerdirector but just curious if there are any other options available.

      You’re welcome. That is a great combo of gear.
      I use Adobe Premiere Pro for about 95% of my video editing and I used it for this video

    Great video ..May i know whether i could connect 2 mics in it ? As i im planning to use this for interviewing .

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว

      It looks like DJI has indicated this device will support connecting two DJI Mic 2 mics at a time; however, DJI has not yet officially released the DJI Mic 2 as a standalone option. If you own the original DJI Mic kit this will support both mics as long as you plug the receiver into the USB-C port on the Pocket 3.

    the audio you recorded in the intro, did you use the dji wireless mic 2 or the onboard camera mics? sounds crisp and clear. 😊

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. So I am still waiting on my DJI Osmo Picket 3 kit that I purchased that included the Mic 2. So for this I used the original DJI Mic and recorded direct to the mic and then synced the audio with the audio from the Osmo Pocket 3 and kept the audio from the DJI Mic. It was rather windy out so using the external mic was a good choice.

    Hello.. i want to ask you..have you use premier pro to editing. IF YES what did you setup to export file? I need advise..thanks you

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I sure do. Premiere Pro is the main editing software I use, in fact. When exporting I make sure to export in 3840x2160, h.264 codec, and a VBR 1 pass bitrate of about 50 mbps.

      TH-cam also has a great guide to recommended settings here depending upon the specifics of your editing situation: support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en

    great real world video, without all these so called cinematic moves.
    one question: why is your shirt in the intro mirrored? that happens normally with selfie cameras from Iphones!

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. Great question about the mirroring. There is an option in the settings that allows you to mirror if you want to in selfie mode. I had that option selected when I filmed this.

    Looks great. Were these clips the standard picture profile or graded D-log M?

    Thank you sir !! Great Video. I would love to know how you uploadet the video. If i look at the 4K film here it somehow have strong artefacts. Maybee just a render miss ? Thank you anyways for this great Video.

    right off the bat, i gotta ask, is it really that blurry or is my iPhone pro or youtube or… but the footage doesn’t look great. Am I wrong?

  • @pspr33

    I'm confused, was this footage straight out of camera (ungraded) or was this graded footage?

  • @MichaelTapel
    @MichaelTapel ปีที่แล้ว +2

    There's still this movement up down and side to side with every pocket that just very annoying, 2:44 for example

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When really close to an object like I was there I more so put the blame for that movement on myself 😂 Any side to side movement I make with the gimbal will be more noticeable even if the gimbal does great with stabilization.

  • @rohitRraina

    The only downside to this camera is 4k 30fps...
    If only it could do 60fps at 4k.
    It would have been a bang for a buck.
    And
    Is it possible that DJI introduces the focus mode in action 4?

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It does do 4K 60fps. I filmed all of these clips that have slow motion in 4K 60 and slowed them down to half speed on this timeline.

    • @rohitRraina
      @rohitRraina ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GreatDayForAHike ohh my bad ..
      And is it possible that dji introduces the Focus mode in action 4 ?

    • @GreatDayForAHike
      @GreatDayForAHike  ปีที่แล้ว

      @rohitRraina I don’t think so. This is likely a hardware limitation of the Action 4 that cannot be adjusted via a firmware update.

    Disable face tracking when holding the camera in a vlogging mode. Removes all the annoying wobbles as the gimbal attempts to track your face and keeps it centered.

    I suppose you've set this thing to some sort of 'cinematic' mode which is why the image looks stuttery. Beautiful scenery poorly recorded.
