I actually prefer their version of the bass and drums! Love the half time feel over the straight aheadness of the original and it somehow feels heavier and more impactful to the lyrics.
These videos just remind me of how much better Linkin Park would be if their rhythm section played with more range and didn't just play it so safe/basic most of the time
I was SHOCKED when i heard the drummer shout out Limp Bizkit. Some of the best Nu Metal riffs ever. Wes Borland was a genius at making heavy guitar riffs.
never heard this song before this video and i have to say, i thought their version is better than the original. The half time makes more sense, but i don't know if thats just because its the first time im hearing the song myself. great video Drumble!

These cats may have played it a little bit differently, but honestly, and I’ve always said this if you can play gospel music, you can play any genre. As a bass player myself I have played all the genres over the years, and I can tell you gospel is on a different level, you either throw down as a musician or you get the heck out of the way, so if you can do gospel, you can do anything ! These guys were awesome, and as always ,gospel musicians are some of the best musicians out there!
That shit was lit bros, well done. I grew up in church too , my mom's a pastor, you got to learn to play ALOT of different styles of music and change on the fly to be a gospel musician at times. I've learned songs the night before and showed up in church the next day only to hear "new list" haha gotta listen to the songs 5 minutes before church starts and just wing it almost, seeing Gospel musicians throw down was inspiring man, loved it
I really love this series!! I have some requests about future contents. It will be awesome to see how you guys mic on drums, mixing drums. Or how to tune drums. Basically about sound design? Because it’s always sound so great whoever played on your channel!!
wow this video just proved to me how large and wide the world is with people not just people but musicians that did even heard of linkin park and limpbizkit
16:00 His name is Chester Bennington, dude. his vocals were raw and nostalgic! hearing him again on a new song called "Lost" off the Meteora just blew me away.
Whatever you guys play, I respect your roots and professionism more and more each time. Guess what, some of us never heard gospel before. Keep up the good work
If you’re taking requests, I’d love to hear some gospel musicians try “Son et Lumiere / Inertiatic ESP” by The Mars Volta. Those hits at the beginning would be fire
A litte looking advice... you have to much warm colors, cymbals, detalis of the walls, others warm light and... red led light. You will got betters result if turn off some warm light and add/replace cold light... like another blue led in the left side. Maybe replace the back light with spot light to create more ambience.
This was interesting to watch, as I’ve been a Linkin Park fan since their 1st album, and saw them live on their comeback tour, and being a musician myself, mainly guitar and bass, sometimes vocals, watching these 2 on the 1st take was quite funny, the 2nd take, the bassist, yeah, was digging it, the drummer I was finding his take on it a bit weird, but hey, that’s just my opinion, and yeah, the old lead singer Chester, sadly passed on in 2017, the new singer Emily is doing an amazing job at stepping into that vacant position
honestly- i used to listen to linkin park until mike shinoda started going on epstein island and chester "died mystiriosly", but music wise, thes guys sond way better, i heard the new lp and it is basicly woke bullcrap with shtty music along side of it.
There’s something about gospel drummers playing Rock/Metal that just works! 🤷♂️ I love it.
@@metalrock2112 you're absolutely right metal Rock 2112 think about time signature with most gospel drummers would be 4/4 most rock tunes are in 44
@@metalrock2112 because half of the patterns that we play can coincide with rock and metal.
16:04 much respect for how you did the overdub bro. Really really cool
You can tell he's a reflective person. I respect that, too.
I actually prefer their version of the bass and drums! Love the half time feel over the straight aheadness of the original and it somehow feels heavier and more impactful to the lyrics.
I 100% agree.
Same. I think it suits the song much better
The quick bass licks up the neck we're badass. Great tone
Ooooooh that major 3rd on bass at 8:09 was sooo tastyyyyy 😫 😤 shoulda kept that in for take 2, but still cranked!
These videos just remind me of how much better Linkin Park would be if their rhythm section played with more range and didn't just play it so safe/basic most of the time
His bass playing gave me chills. The reharms were so creative. Such a dope version of the song, which I already loved
We need to get Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park to react to this. Im sure he would love to see it. Should @ him on socials with it.
Both are incredible musicians ... The bass was insane and the drums were too .. really good episode
That was so beautiful...the half time..I friggin cried guys. that was a tear jerker.
I was SHOCKED when i heard the drummer shout out Limp Bizkit. Some of the best Nu Metal riffs ever. Wes Borland was a genius at making heavy guitar riffs.

It just gives the song a completely different vibe, its like it makes it more somber or sadder.
@strika1140 right! Like it fits the vibe more imo

Love this drummer, his timing is impeccable

Because it’s always sound so great whoever played on your channel!!
I like your version better. The bass helps fill out what is otherwise a basic track.
love when they smiled playing, love music. try a Paramore song, their drums are insane. love from spain!
We have two of these with paramore!
damn fire, bass went hard first try
The substitution from Jelani at 14:47 was insane 😂😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
The Limp Bizkit actually makes sense for the half-time feel.
wow this video just proved to me how large and wide the world is with people not just people but musicians that did even heard of linkin park and limpbizkit
Lets gooooo. They was killinn
Were killinn.
You, guys, rock! It's nothing like LP, but your version is great )) You made a Metallica from the Linking Park )) Respect!
Their drum and bass are so emotional
I love the way the bassist approach
Yeah Play that how yall felt it… Because I felt it🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😂😂😂😂
Nahh bro… Keep cooking fr… Dive deeper😮💨🙏🏾
16:00 His name is Chester Bennington, dude. his vocals were raw and nostalgic!
hearing him again on a new song called "Lost" off the Meteora just blew me away.
This was a fun watch! I really liked when you cut in and clarified yourself man.
They put that sauce on it 🔥🔥🔥🔥
these dudes are great
I love live music so much
this is fantastic stuff
Sounds like somewhere i belong. Thats so awesome
that half time feel gives it sort of a meteora vibe
Man what a great rendition of the song. I would say even better than the original
I feel like they did it way better honestly. Love it! 💖
Whatever you guys play, I respect your roots and professionism more and more each time. Guess what, some of us never heard gospel before. Keep up the good work
They did a good work!
That was awesome!! God always wins .. That's better than the original.. gospel musicians are hands down some of the best musicians in the whole world
For real, this series has made me respect Gospel musicians so much more. Never would have guessed they would be so good at improving
Well done gents!!! I love the groove you guys have and brought!🔥🔥
Let’s go.This video was great. If you take requesting you should get gospel musicians to play My Hero by Foo Fighters. That would be cool to hear!
Got a different foo fighters song hopefully coming next month👀
I love how beautiful people can make beautiful things. Love the channel.
they killed that!!
It would be sick to see a bassist and drummer do some slipknot! Love these vids!
i like their version too is different but they play very good too!!!
Half time would have been amazing on the actual track. Feels more impactful. Great work!
If you’re taking requests, I’d love to hear some gospel musicians try “Son et Lumiere / Inertiatic ESP” by The Mars Volta. Those hits at the beginning would be fire
I was gonna give this to a drummer two weeks ago but I couldn’t get the metronome to match the music through the song🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Ngl I enjoyed this man's basslines better than what LP recorded
great job all around but the dude with the bass did an amazing job with all the nuances he added.
Ya'll killed it.
WHAT WAS THAT BASS LINE??? ON FIRE!!
You did just fine. great episode.
what a groove!
Great job!!!
What was the bass signal chain looking like. From instrument to DAW
Give Knocked Loose or Lorna Shore next. Thats a content endless content mine.
This is amazing, please do Lorna Shore, slaughter to prevail or Sleep token AGAIN!
You guys sound good
I love Linkin Park but this version was way colder 🔥
I like this version!
🩷👊🏼👊🏽👊🏾👊🏿📀
Yeah 🤘🏻
I think the best version sits between Half time and Cut. Like half time at the end or something. I actually liked the half time better though.
Can we PLEASE get Mathieux Davis back on???

I agree man, my vector scopes and parade SCREAM warm in premiere. I’ll see what I can do! Thanks for the advice bro❤️
@@DrumbleCo Glad to be of help
I’m a metalhead. This is a better version and love the bass grooves going on.
i love their version but i was hoping for some Gospel chops in the fills areas.... like coming in and out of the breaks and expecially the bridge
Honestly I prefer this drummers part
I'd like a Stuart Copeland version of this, please?
License this and put it on Spotify please 😂
ABSUURDOOOOOOOOO
Their version is so much better.

F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X or CHON!
System of a Down: Toxicity 🤌🏽 gotta see how gospel musicians hit this song
We did this! Check our channel!
Literally 2 albums full of bangers.... chooses this crap.
You are so right bro
honestly- i used to listen to linkin park until mike shinoda started going on epstein island and chester "died mystiriosly", but music wise, thes guys sond way better, i heard the new lp and it is basicly woke bullcrap with shtty music along side of it.
