- In this Video you will see some of the beautiful aerial footage of the Iloilo Province and then watch us land in a rice field! Next disembark and begin procedure to leave the airport. You wont be leaving on your own!!! Nope they have SPECIAL Transportation waiting for you. We come to realize very fast that we are not in the Capital Region anymore. They are very serious about all of this down here. Just be good , be good , obey the rules and everything will be ok.

i did not realize that the Iloilo airport was so small, for i always fly into Cebu Mactan airport which is so much bigger, especially now with the new international terminal

its like when you go into the malls. you get checked in and then you want to go in and buy some groceries and they check you to get into the grocery store like there is a gun or bomb store where you could buy something to blow up the grocery store. it makes no sense but what can you do. if they checked me into the mall then I am already checked, checking me again just irritates people. but they want to feel important. in this case it is like what happened, did the plane pick up some people while in flight between where you took off to where you landed.

There was no charge. It was a serious purpose for them to escort us clear of the public and put us at our place of 14 days quarantine. They was hauling the seed to the ZOMBIE Apocalypse JAMES THE TEXAN!!! BWAHAHAHA

@@TexasFilipino we’re at Brgy Dapdap near the border of Tigbauan and Leon, if you know the road in Parara Norte, you just follow it straight. It’s around 8km from Gen. McArthur landmark.

Wow flew in with you been in Davao 14 days you certainly had a more difficult time then I, I was required 14 days quarantine here in Davao on arrival at home however,; even with the negative pcr from Manila. I stayed the holiday inn express in Manila as our delayed flight from lax thru reservation at Conrad off. Without going into detail nice staff very helpful at holiday inn express manila however I would not highly recommend.
Yes it is known in Philippines that Iloilo has been very strict. Even the hotels we stayed in told us all their guest going to Iloilo has had hard time returning. Some had been in hotel a month waiting.

A terrific report. I understand your comments about filling in so many forms. I think it is in case somebody higher up the food chain asks them for proof that they are taking the pandemic seriously. for a third world country I think they are making valiant efforts to cope with the pandemic. What an experience it has been!
Amazing difference in the weather, since the last typhoon went thru, have had unbroken clear skies every day.
Was clear when I flew from Taiwan in January, flew right over our town in Pangasinan, lovely views etc.
Was ten hours later until actually got there tho. Usual mad traffic congestion situation still, pre covid of course !! Lol
Still , I suppose staying in Manila has let you adjust to jet lag etc.
Can dive straight into what you want to do at home.

So I have something ODD - I never get JetLag coming to Philippines. Adjust instantly. BUT going back to USA it kicks my ass. It can take weeks or months. I think God is telling me something! It has been so bad before I had to go to doctor in Texas.
