- Two new powerful trainers have just entered the scene to engage in the most anticipated battle ever imagined “The cataclysmic clash Mewtwo and Deoxys!”
I'm the original creator of this video. I had uploded this back on Newgrounds a year ago 2013 and never got to upload it due to technical problems. I will probably get around to upload my previous battles soon as this is part 3 to "Fated Battle" and "Fated Encounter" though I have cut Fated Encounter part 2 from this. I will upload Fated Encounter Part 2 Soon.
(Coming Soon) Added Annotations containing all the attacks and deoxys mode forms used. Also there is no "Mega Mewtwo" here lol as I made this before the debut of Pokemon X and Y.

Yep. After all these years, this is still my favorite Pokemon battle animation. Deoxys put up a great fight, Mewtwo had his hands full for sure. Mew wanted in on the action and probably could have taken them both. Bravo Tyrant-D, I hope you return to these animations one day because your are truly talented. Hope your doing well, best regards.

The best I can say about this video is that its got super good camera work, fight choreography, sound placement and choice, lighting and effects. Its all really high quality. The art could use some improvements but other then that, this guy would be excellent for animation and has serious potential

Mewtwo: a the one successful clone of Mew with incredible psychokinetic powers. Mewtwo was born for battle with knowledge of all kinds of strategies. Mewtwo is capable of two different mega evolutions to make it even more powerful and boost either it's psychic strength or its physical strength. Mewtwo is also capable of quick reactions as well as shields if they are required. Mewtwo is certainly a formidable foe.
Deoxys: a mutated alien virus that crash landed on Earth. Deoxys has unbelievable offensive capabilities along with four forms; defense, normal, Attack, and speed, which it can change to on a dime. Deoxys is also capable of regenerating any part of its body if it damaged or destroyed entirely. It is also capable of creating clones of itself, that are, though weaker, are very threatening. Along with the move recover, it can come back fresh and continue battle for as long as required.
These two make for one heck of a fight.

I love how the moves are made to look like how they are in the anime/games. Stuff like hyperbeam being golden (anime), extremespeed having a blue/white background(games), psycho boost looking like a rainbow ball(anime), psycho cut being a big pink slice (games) are excellent touches

Tyrant-D There's nothing wrong with that. If your inspiration of an intense fight comes from the idea of DBZ then go for it. There's not many anime that can compare or do it better, that's why everyone is reminded of it when they see a cool action heavy battle animation

Mewtwo's logic, has high quality armour, decides to destroy it in the first few seconds, that's how you know he's a badass.
Well in the anime the armor was made to suppress its powers so Team Rocket could control it. It's more powerful without the armor.

Like what you did with the Steelix sliding across the ground chasing the Scizor in the first Fated Duel is something that gets me pumped :D I'll be one of your first viewers if you do make another animation, even if it isn't Pokemon (although I hope it is lol)

@@tyrant-d9895 Dude amazing work. I can't fathom the time and effort. Nothing can or has ever gotten this good without love being added to it. You have to love this to put in and cultivate this quality.
I would recommend slower shifts from character A to character B. You sometimes lose the audience because the switch is chaotic and the destruction is hard to follow sometimes, but, the vibrating camera illusion.. the craters and boom booms.. awesome. I hope I helped. Shift 30% more slowly bt characters, you'll have it perfect imo.

Deoxys has no death unlike other non god pokemons, when his life ends he turns off like a computer and converts him into a crystal, which can be activated anytime using huge electric current

Mewtwo. The most powerful Pokemon of them all. That was his title in the first pokemon movie. It's still true today. F*** Arceus, he was nearly killed by a meteor. Mewtwo nearly ended the world when he was angered.
I hope you realize that Arceus is the ruler of the UNIVERSE. Mewtwo could destroy a puny world, big deal. Arceus could literally destroy 100 Octillion times that in a snap of a finger.

Am I the only one that got disturbed by the fact that the screen was shaking 90% of the time
I found it annoying too. It's one of my pet peeves. Shaky cam should be used as rarely as possible to emphasize certain scenes, because otherwise it makes some fights near impossible to follow.
+ChaseTheStars I originally had a "non-shake cam" version of this animation on my computer. But I felt the attacks didn't give that much of a impact at all, that battle felt more slow and lack luster. So I finalized it with this version which gave it a bit more intensity, which I'm truly happy with.

hey Tyrant-D, I remember watching fated battle and fated encounter on newgrounds so many years ago, funny to think that apart from dragonite, every Pokemon you animated now has a Mega evolution. I get the vibe these are passion projects that "are done when they're done", so not to rush you or anything but you should definitely animate one with Mega evolutions involved, and If I can give a suggestion, Mega Heracross as one of the fighters (assuming you have 2,3 or 4 overall) would be great, I think it'd complement your DBZ style animation really well!
+ForrestAnthony1 Yeah thats Scary! 95% of the Pokemon I had animated all got mega evos. But to tell you the truth I mainly selected them based on popularity. Guess the creators knew also they were very popular. Mega Heracross looks intresting Mmm could get it to do some badass stuff lol But yeah thanks for the shout out.

Not much better, especially since no-one runs full physical investment on Deoxys.
And against Mega Mewtwo, while Knock Off would hit a Defense stat of 70 rather than 90, the Mewtwonite prevents Knock Off's power boost. Shadow Ball hits an even stronger Special Attack stat.
Despite all this, though, the inclusion of items such as Life Orb, Focus Sash and Choice items changes the outcome, often in Deoxys' favour, especially in conjunction with ExtremeSpeed. So I'm afraid the battle is still undecided.
If deoxys holds ANY power boosting item it would win.

minepose98 I think items are stupid in these arguments. Any Mewtwo holding a Kasib Berry (I think that's a Ghost reducing one) would easily survive and OHKO back since Deoxys has abysmal defense.

I like the concept, the animation could use some work for instance it could be a little smoother, and the audio needs a little balancing. the biggest problem with this in my option is the character design the trainers just look cringy dbz knock offs i know you wanted to make them look cool but that's too much. when it comes to character design less is more. all in all man i can tell you put a lot of work and effort into this animation. if you have any newer stuff i would like to see it. don't let the haters get too you and keep up the good work.
+MrSporkdude Intresting! I like the trainers, they look interesting to me :) but it's about the Pokemon, not them. Anyway I prefer DBZ over Pokemon, not much of a Pokemon fan lol. This animation is either loved or hated, which is great. If this gets called the "worst animation in existence" oh well I tried, I mainly animated this for myself to be honest. I simply made this for fun in my own time, not much thinking went into it. The more "haters" the better it's got more than 3 million views LOL If anything I'm more happy with that. If it got 1 million more dislikes I wouldnt mind. This is my own vision of a Pokemon battle, and I wouldn't change none of it. Thanks for your positive comment XD (for once hehe)
PS If you check my next pokemon battle on newgrounds page, you can see the trainers have more of "Pokemon" look. But I will get it out one day. My two previous Pokemon battles "Pokemon Fated Encounter and Fated Battle" however do have way more positive praise than this one XD

This is by far one of my favorite pokemon animations ever!! I got so hyped watching this from beginning to end the nonstop action was so good and I liked the characters you made, truly a great animation to watch!
As a fan from the start, I can say that was at least 100% more satisfying than any fight actually animated by Nintendo - you did an amazing job, major props on the way you made it actually feel like a fight of the gods
Changing the speed to x1.25 makes it all look perfectly smooth and like a real time super heated battle. I remember this from way back, on Newgrounds, and I still love it. I hope you're still animating +Tyrant-D
