The best I can say about this video is that its got super good camera work, fight choreography, sound placement and choice, lighting and effects. Its all really high quality. The art could use some improvements but other then that, this guy would be excellent for animation and has serious potential

I love how the moves are made to look like how they are in the anime/games. Stuff like hyperbeam being golden (anime), extremespeed having a blue/white background(games), psycho boost looking like a rainbow ball(anime), psycho cut being a big pink slice (games) are excellent touches

You should dude, your choreography for combat is amazing! Like what you did with the Steelix sliding across the ground chasing the Scizor in the first Fated Duel is something that gets me pumped :D I'll be one of your first viewers if you do make another animation, even if it isn't Pokemon (although I hope it is lol)
@@tyrant-d9895 Dude amazing work. I can't fathom the time and effort. Nothing can or has ever gotten this good without love being added to it. You have to love this to put in and cultivate this quality. I would recommend slower shifts from character A to character B. You sometimes lose the audience because the switch is chaotic and the destruction is hard to follow sometimes, but, the vibrating camera illusion.. the craters and boom booms.. awesome. I hope I helped. Shift 30% more slowly bt characters, you'll have it perfect imo.
In the movie Mewtwo says the armor reduces his powers, then Giovani says it is to help him focus them better. In short the armor surpresa Mewtwo so he can learn how to use them, it was useful at the beginning because he was born with immense power without having learnt how to handle it.

Deoxys has no death unlike other non god pokemons, when his life ends he turns off like a computer and converts him into a crystal, which can be activated anytime using huge electric current

minepose98 I think items are stupid in these arguments. Any Mewtwo holding a Kasib Berry (I think that's a Ghost reducing one) would easily survive and OHKO back since Deoxys has abysmal defense.
I like the concept, the animation could use some work for instance it could be a little smoother, and the audio needs a little balancing. the biggest problem with this in my option is the character design the trainers just look cringy dbz knock offs i know you wanted to make them look cool but that's too much. when it comes to character design less is more. all in all man i can tell you put a lot of work and effort into this animation. if you have any newer stuff i would like to see it. don't let the haters get too you and keep up the good work.
+MrSporkdude Intresting! I like the trainers, they look interesting to me :) but it's about the Pokemon, not them. Anyway I prefer DBZ over Pokemon, not much of a Pokemon fan lol. This animation is either loved or hated, which is great. If this gets called the "worst animation in existence" oh well I tried, I mainly animated this for myself to be honest. I simply made this for fun in my own time, not much thinking went into it. The more "haters" the better it's got more than 3 million views LOL If anything I'm more happy with that. If it got 1 million more dislikes I wouldnt mind. This is my own vision of a Pokemon battle, and I wouldn't change none of it. I found it annoying too. It's one of my pet peeves. Shaky cam should be used as rarely as possible to emphasize certain scenes, because otherwise it makes some fights near impossible to follow.
+ChaseTheStars I originally had a "non-shake cam" version of this animation on my computer. But I felt the attacks didn't give that much of a impact at all, that battle felt more slow and lack luster. So I finalized it with this version which gave it a bit more intensity, which I'm truly happy with.
hey Tyrant-D, I remember watching fated battle and fated encounter on newgrounds so many years ago, funny to think that apart from dragonite, every Pokemon you animated now has a Mega evolution. I get the vibe these are passion projects that "are done when they're done", so not to rush you or anything but you should definitely animate one with Mega evolutions involved, and If I can give a suggestion, Mega Heracross as one of the fighters (assuming you have 2,3 or 4 overall) would be great, I think it'd complement your DBZ style animation really well!

Guess the creators knew also they were very popular. Mega Heracross looks intresting Mmm could get it to do some badass stuff lol But yeah thanks for the shout out.
Justin Coal I don't know much about Pokemon despite making this but Apparently from what I heard "Attack Form" Deoxys has the highest special attack and attack power of all Pokemon. I think that's pretty impressive, though Mewtwo did almost one-shot Attack Deoxys with a Shadow Ball to the face :P Though at the same time if this battle lasted only 8 seconds like in the games, I think you wouldn't be much impressed hehe.
Tyrant-D I have a request can you make a battle between my favorite legendaries? Darkrai and Yveltal Vs. Cressilia Rayquaza you can figure out all of the moves but here is what I think -All lvl 100s -Darkrai's moves : Dark pulse Shadow Sneak (Yes I know only giratina knows this move) Hyper Beam And Hyperspace Fury (Gen 6 move) -Yveltal's moves : Phantom Force Hyper Beam Sky Attack And Focus Blast - Cressilia Icy Beam Solar Beam Moonblast And Signal Beam -Rayquaza's moves : Dragon Pulse Dragon Ascent Outrage And Hyper Beam (If you do this it is all up to you and you can modify some moves but I would really like It if you could do this kind of animation)

Well in the anime the armor was made to suppress its powers so Team Rocket could control it. It's more powerful without the armor.

Not much better, especially since no-one runs full physical investment on Deoxys.
And against Mega Mewtwo, while Knock Off would hit a Defense stat of 70 rather than 90, the Mewtwonite prevents Knock Off's power boost. Shadow Ball hits an even stronger Special Attack stat.
Despite all this, though, the inclusion of items such as Life Orb, Focus Sash and Choice items changes the outcome, often in Deoxys' favour, especially in conjunction with ExtremeSpeed. So I'm afraid the battle is still undecided.
If deoxys holds ANY power boosting item it would win.

I like the concept, the animation could use some work for instance it could be a little smoother, and the audio needs a little balancing. the biggest problem with this in my option is the character design the trainers just look cringy dbz knock offs i know you wanted to make them look cool but that's too much. when it comes to character design less is more. all in all man i can tell you put a lot of work and effort into this animation. if you have any newer stuff i would like to see it. don't let the haters get too you and keep up the good work.
+MrSporkdude Intresting! I like the trainers, they look interesting to me :) but it's about the Pokemon, not them. Anyway I prefer DBZ over Pokemon, not much of a Pokemon fan lol. This animation is either loved or hated, which is great. If this gets called the "worst animation in existence" oh well I tried, I mainly animated this for myself to be honest. I simply made this for fun in my own time, not much thinking went into it. The more "haters" the better it's got more than 3 million views LOL If anything I'm more happy with that. If it got 1 million more dislikes I wouldnt mind. This is my own vision of a Pokemon battle, and I wouldn't change none of it. Thanks for your positive comment XD (for once hehe)
PS If you check my next pokemon battle on newgrounds page, you can see the trainers have more of "Pokemon" look. But I will get it out one day. My two previous Pokemon battles "Pokemon Fated Encounter and Fated Battle" however do have way more positive praise than this one XD

I found it annoying too. It's one of my pet peeves. Shaky cam should be used as rarely as possible to emphasize certain scenes, because otherwise it makes some fights near impossible to follow.
+ChaseTheStars I originally had a "non-shake cam" version of this animation on my computer. But I felt the attacks didn't give that much of a impact at all, that battle felt more slow and lack luster. So I finalized it with this version which gave it a bit more intensity, which I'm truly happy with.

hey Tyrant-D, I remember watching fated battle and fated encounter on newgrounds so many years ago, funny to think that apart from dragonite, every Pokemon you animated now has a Mega evolution. I get the vibe these are passion projects that "are done when they're done", so not to rush you or anything but you should definitely animate one with Mega evolutions involved, and If I can give a suggestion, Mega Heracross as one of the fighters (assuming you have 2,3 or 4 overall) would be great, I think it'd complement your DBZ style animation really well!

Guess the creators knew also they were very popular. Mega Heracross looks intresting Mmm could get it to do some badass stuff lol But yeah thanks for the shout out.

Justin Coal I don't know much about Pokemon despite making this but Apparently from what I heard "Attack Form" Deoxys has the highest special attack and attack power of all Pokemon. I think that's pretty impressive, though Mewtwo did almost one-shot Attack Deoxys with a Shadow Ball to the face :P Though at the same time if this battle lasted only 8 seconds like in the games, I think you wouldn't be much impressed hehe.
