I second that. MTG The Stack makes great gameplay videos and they’re vary varied. I also think SmoothBrainEDH is super underrated. Quintessential Commander is another excellent gameplay channel
I predicted the game's outcome the moment Elesh Norn was taken out. She should've stuck around until either Krenko or the Bracers (or Andrew himself) were gone.
Killing Elesh Norn pretty much handed Andrew the win. Then they removed Kin's equipment and enchantment isntead of the Goblin Factory on the other side. Curious threat assestment to say the least.
Unfortunately, one thing we often miss in these videos is the politics of the table. Who wrecked someone last time? Who's able to manipulate the table now? Threat assessment is often impacted by feelings, at least when I play. And if you know that, it's definitely something you can take advantage of.
I know Kin's deck a lot and have not played often against Krenko. Kin's deck a brute force to be aware of, see Elesh turn 5 and Avacyn turn 6. Without the goblin bombardment, a wipe would have been enough to get rid of slow tapped gobs, but not the 40 damages of indestructible keyword soup.
@@ManTheMaker this game very much felt like a two headed giant vs the mono-white decks. It was only up until the end that Andrew did anything to myself, we had made a pact & I didnt want him to NOT end the game at that point
Just a quick note; Goblin Chainwhirler also deals 1 damage to each of your opponents’ creatures as well! I think it would’ve killed a few things on the board
LOVE seeing another Odric player. Odric is my baby, my first EDH deck that I brewed before I ever discovered EDHRec. Heck, seeing that card in SOI standard is what made me want to start playing EDH to begin with.

I see that Phil wants to be a monster. First his land a are in front and then he has his graveyard turned to the side and I guess he's playing infect, but that's a minor infraction compared to everything else he's doing.

I think it could do some work in a krenko deck. you tap 8 goblins and pay 2 mna to shoot someone in the face for 10 or deal 10 to a big creature or something, I think, in a token maker like krenko it is just a huge lightning bolt that deals 10 damage.
I’m must be missing something. Early on you had 2 total goblins on the battlefield. You tapped Krenko and copied his ability and ended up creating 6 goblins….. by my figures you should have either created 4 or 8 goblins,( not sure how copy works in this instance) but I can’t figure how you created 6…. HELP!!!
The first copy of the ability made 2 goblins (now 4 total), then the second copy made 4 goblins. So he made 6 new goblins and ended up with 8 total goblins.
Personnal opinion here: I feel like people playing land upfront are trying to "hide" their board state or atleast make it harder to read. I played against people that did that and in no way I think they were trying to, but I always have that feeling when it happens.
It doesn't bother me. These games are usually done with friends and Phil always asks beforehand if people mind. No one has as of yet, and he's always happy to clarify his board state at any time.
When I started playing the 4th edition rule book had the board laid out that way. It was just the way I learned. I've stopped doing it because people get frustrated with it.
I don't know why krenko still alive with bracers... on each tap x4 number of goblins!!!!(you copy the ability, the copy resolves... when the original ability resolves, just double again the amount of goblins)...
Anyone who plays skythrix, with the combination of playing with their lands in front, and having a sideways graveyard, should be targeted for death first and always.
These decks are all minimum 300$+ and would still lose more often then win in pubs due to targeting lol. This is why you don’t build Skittles or Krenko.

Nah the 1 damage was dealt. 10:29 you can see Phil's snake token die and thats it
Lands up front should either:
A. Affect your credit score
Or
B. Start you at 30 life
I don't think that is appropriate. It should be at least 20 life if that.
