That is still disrespectful. You can clearly see he is tossing them. Even "lightly tossing" them is disrespectful. 10 out of Tien would not play with that guy agian or i would tell him not to touch my board and i will do it.
On your turn 10, if you hadn't lost Purphoros to that misplay, you would've been able to deal 18 damage to both opponents. Cast Krenko for 6, equip Illusionist's Bracers for 3, and activate Krenko. First activation gets you 3 goblins (6 damage), and the second gets you 6 goblins (12 damage). Then you can kill off either opponent with the hasty goblins.

MtG is highly complex and structured, and it has a massive content of rules because of it. The game must operate in a certain form in order for it work well for everyone. Unfortunately for you and your gang, WotC have actually forbidden playing your lands in front in tournament play. Also most game stores will frown upon it, at best, because it's very distracting and takes the attention away from your boardstate, thus giving you an unfair advantage in multiplayer games especially, seeing as each player is having to deal with multiple boards as well as their own.
Phil is history's greatest monster for playing his lands like that on camera.
To be fair, it's the way we used to play it, (back in the 90s...)
He plays Phyrexian black. :3

Front land gang represent! There's dozens of us! Dozens!
K'rrik decklist pls!
