Ark is dirty as fuck all the way from the beach bob who try to knock you out, all the way up the the devs playing on alt accounts. These same devs are also massive players in the buy/sell forums. The screenshots and conversations are all out there for the world to see as of a few weeks ago 😅

As someone who has played on smalltribes in the competitive scene for a long time, i can say that cheaters are a huge problem. I, and the people i played with, didnt want servers to be wiped simply because the late endgame was fun for us. If we got raided by cheaters, we can spam report them and call a dev to ban them. The markets arent run by devs, at least not in its entirety, and are actually run by semi-normal people. That isnt to say that the devs dont have a part in it, they most likely do, made evident mostly by the fact that cc flak still exists.
Extinction requires the mutations in order to do the pink OSD drops, that won't be achievable with regular wipes, a lot of the top tier missions in genesis 1 and 2 require these Dino's as well.

Resetting servers would be dope, but for how long? Cheaters are the #1 problem, if the servers reset they’ll just take right back over again. It might be fun for a week idk
What I meant is that resetting the servers would solve the Ark black market problem, not the cheating problem necessarily. The cheaters would have fewer reasons to cheat though without the monetary gain from the black market.

Guys be careful of the sellers. I bought a couple times from probably the second biggest ark seller right now. Anyways, every time I bought from them, my base was raided a couple hours later. These sellers have adapted to the fact people are willing to pay for top stat dinos. Be carful we’re you take them and just buying from them in general

Why did I never think of this when I was playing? The amount of loot I had from stealing from people was insane, cryo mutated/ boss lineage Dinos, ascendant gear. I lost count of how much cool shit I got from stealing off of others in the server 😂
I play ps5 official and it’s play able with enough time you learn how to counter meshers and exploits like god mode. People in official is not only cheaters I am in a tribe that does not allow cheating at all even when enemies cheat. I am pretty sure other tribes are the same .

Not too long ago ark was free on epic ik at least 15 people that have over 300 accounts on epic and the money they make off selling stuff they use to buy dlc every now and then

Most shops on 1x do not cheat they all just buy bulk shit from dupers to sell on their shop they have no need to cheat and the reason ark doesn't wipe offical is because its the only server of its kind and they know theres a big player base that likes the no wipe aspect of it and its not dead even with 4 months left in the game their is still 300 persons fobs almost every weekend

While I'm with you on many points, I'd say that they made it free because an excel sheet told them to. Never attribute malice to something that can be more easily explained by simple stupidity. For that level of cheats to work, they probably need to come up from the top, with comissions paid to the higher ups. No was that wouldn't leak like a sieve.
Whatever I just saw u looking at there is a scam lol. The bases r real that sometimes get sold but it is valued so high because of the amount of hours to take. The most advanced players who normally would sell bases or xp partys rrally only make $5000 per year max. That's with either getting on 2 hours a day to breed your charcs and pop eggs or 2 hours a day grinding mats for bars

I was mainly referring to the PvP side of the game when I mentioned the server wipes. The cheating isn't nearly as bad in PvE for obvious reasons, although I haven't played on official PvE servers pretty much since I started playing so I can't really comment on that. I'm fine with Ark 2 having microtransactions as long as it's not P2W.

@@armymedic999 I think the Obelisk upload is P2W on PvP servers. That's basically no risk to your best items 100% of the time. I think they should just sell cosmetics like Bionic dino skins or like you mentioned, the color mutations. It's hard to say if Skeletal dino skins would be P2W too. They blend really well with the terrain which gives the people that have those a slight advantage over people that don't.
The problem with that is that the PvE player base is 10x larger than the PvP player base & most aren't willing to do that for the PvP community, otherwise I'd promote it in the video. I've left my negative review on Steam & I've seen Ark PvP YT'ers try to get their audience to do it & a lot of them did, but it still didn't make a big enough dent.

And I’ve been playing ark since the year it came out, warts and all. Thats honestly a simple tweak on the dino stats for the drops and missions. Thats not good enough to justify not wiping servers.

Money is the #1 reason people cheat in the first place. Cheaters will still exist without that, but it would get rid of a good 75% of them.

Most shops on 1x do not cheat they all just buy bulk shit from dupers to sell on their shop they have no need to cheat and the reason ark doesn't wipe offical is because its the only server of its kind and they know theres a big player base that likes the no wipe aspect of it and its not dead even with 4 months left in the game their is still 300 persons fobs almost every weekend

Whatever I just saw u looking at there is a scam lol. The bases r real that sometimes get sold but it is valued so high because of the amount of hours to take. The most advanced players who normally would sell bases or xp partys rrally only make $5000 per year max. That's with either getting on 2 hours a day to breed your charcs and pop eggs or 2 hours a day grinding mats for bars

I was mainly referring to the PvP side of the game when I mentioned the server wipes. The cheating isn't nearly as bad in PvE for obvious reasons, although I haven't played on official PvE servers pretty much since I started playing so I can't really comment on that. I'm fine with Ark 2 having microtransactions as long as it's not P2W.

Unique skins or color mutations only available to subscribers. Any form of multipler would b a p2w item. Wc has to make these items cause running servers ain't cheap
@@armymedic999 I think the Obelisk upload is P2W on PvP servers. That's basically no risk to your best items 100% of the time. I think they should just sell cosmetics like Bionic dino skins or like you mentioned, the color mutations. It's hard to say if Skeletal dino skins would be P2W too. They blend really well with the terrain which gives the people that have those a slight advantage over people that don't.

The problem with that is that the PvE player base is 10x larger than the PvP player base & most aren't willing to do that for the PvP community, otherwise I'd promote it in the video. I've left my negative review on Steam & I've seen Ark PvP YT'ers try to get their audience to do it & a lot of them did, but it still didn't make a big enough dent.

1 your talking about a very small amount of the player base and 2 it’s only pc and smalls on Xbox that are cheaters. Consoles are fine on official. So to blame the whole game is just silly. And it doesn’t wipe for exactly the reason of the game. It’s a survival game. The longer it runs the continuing of the “survival”. And bugging drakes out and getting the devs to replace it is silly. Even if you lost a max level 450 Dino they will only spawn you a perfect tame Dino level 225 So them spawning in a legitimately lost Dino to game mechanics is not a problem. There’s lots of problems. Selling in game items is not a problem. Games themselves try to do the same thing. 🤷🏻♂️. Whoever takes ark 1 over will be wise to have a continuous non wiping main server system and a side one that wiped every month. Just like now. In fact wiping doesn’t keep cheaters away. It makes it worse. Don’t believe me ? Hop on ark poc gen 2 on wipe day. You’ve never ever seen so many cheaters ever anywhere. And that’s on a freshly wiped server. Also You said taht wildcard should wipe the sesrvers? The only thing that attracts people to the game is the longterm grind, something that you can hold for years. I still have items from 2019 rn, even though i ve survived multiple devwipes, wipes, insides etc...

I mean okay it’s an issue, but to be honest, the idea of being able to sell hard work online like this as a seasoned ark player is pretty cool. At least on PvE. And I’ve been playing ark since the year it came out, warts and all. (When the swamp was first introduced and the snow biome didn’t even exist bro lol) I get that people can “cheat” through this method but if you have an issue with them, just find a new server?
The one thing I’ve noticed is that most of the complainers of ark are PvPers, which tells a lot about the toxicity of those people on the servers. If you all just quit being little, sorry to say it, bitch babies, and accept the fun side of ark like in PvE with trading and a nice, balanced economy. The game can be much more enjoyable. There’s a huge potential for role play too on this game but most of you devalue the game with the hunger for power. It’s stupid and pointless! Just enjoy the game and admire people’s awesome Dino’s! Finding a new server doesn't work whenever all of the servers can be transferred too. I'm not gonna acknowledge your second paragraph because I think it's unreasonable. Some people like PvP, some people like PvE, there is nothing wrong with liking either.
